Information about several papers presented during the 5th International Seminar on the Ferroelastic Physics which was held in Voronezh, Russia in September 10 to 13, 2006 is presented. It discusses the theoretical and experimental aspects of ferroelastics. A meeting was followed which was organized by the Laboratory of Ferroelectrics of the Voronezh State Technical University. Topic concerning problems on dynamics of domain wall in crystals including nucleation and optical waves are discussed.

The article reports that the sixth international (11th in series) seminar on ferroelastic physics was held from September 22-25, 2009 in Voronezh, Russia. The seminar was organized by Ferroelectric Laboratory of Voronezh State Technical University in association with Russian Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation. Eight plenary lectures and 54 reports were presented at twelve sessions and 100 papers at seven poster sessions.

This article focuses on the 4th Conference on "Magnetoelectric Interaction Phenomena in Crystals," held at Novgorod, Russia in October 2001. The conference was organized by Novgorod State University with the assistance of Russian Foundation for Basic Research. At the conference, problems of phenomenological and microscopic theory of magnetoelectric phenomena in crystals were discussed.
