The article presents information on a conference to be held in China. The 17th Annual Symposium on Integrated Ferroelectrics will be held from April 17-20, 2005 in Shanghai, China. This symposium aims to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of the state-of- the-art of those topics as memory materials and devices, pyroelectric sensors, electro-optical components, nano-technology theory, ab-initio calculations and the research and exploitation of nano-size effects. Abstracts are requested on state-of-the-art topics that reflect the maturity of the field and research problems that continue to challenge workers in this area.
