Background. Genital warts are sexually transmitted diseases for which there is no definitive cure. This study aimed to determine the effect of the combination of olive leaf extract and curcumin on the number of lesions and the duration of recovery in patients with external anogenital warts. Methods. This study is a three-blind randomized controlled clinical trial conducted in 2020. In this study, women with external anogenital warts were enrolled by the consecutive nonprobability sampling method and then assigned by stratified block randomization to two groups: placebo (n = 28) and intervention (n = 26). In the intervention group, the combined olive leaf and curcumin extract was applied topically three times a day until recovery and up to 12 weeks. Routine treatment was administered to both groups in addition to the interventions. The number of warts, the duration of recovery, and the severity and duration of treatment side effects were assessed in all participants. Results. The results showed that the mean number of warts was significantly lower in the intervention group (5.65 ± 5.223) than in the placebo group (7.61 ± 5.245) from the fifth day of treatment onwards (p = 0.027). The mean duration of recovery in days in the intervention group (14.73 ± 9.735)) was significantly less than the placebo group (34.25 ± 18.863) (p = 0.001). In addition, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the frequency of drug side effects such as burning (p = 0.083), redness (p = 0.413), and itching (p = 0.706). The intervention group experienced side effects for a shorter duration of time (1.50 ± 1.924) compared to the placebo group (4.93 ± 8.366) (p = 0.043). Conclusion. The combined 10% olive leaf and curcumin extract can be effective in reducing the number of warts, duration of healing, and reducing the duration of complications in patients with external anogenital warts and is recommended as a complementary treatment for these patients. Stroke is currently the second largest contributor to disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) in developing countries, and it is the third largest contributor to DALYs in developed countries. It requires a large number of resources from the health care system every year, which places a great burden on society, families, and individuals. The treatment of traditional Chinese medicine exercise therapy (TCMET) during stroke recovery has become a hot topic of current research due to its few adverse events and high efficiency. This article sorts out the latest progress of TCMET on the recovery of stroke through the review method and explores its role and mechanism based on existing clinical and experimental studies. TCMET treatment of stroke recovery mainly includes Tai Chi, Baduanjin, Daoyin, Yi Jin Jing, five-fowl play, and six-character tips, which can effectively improve motor function, balance and coordination ability, cognitive dysfunction, nerve function, depression or emotional state, daily living ability, and so on after stroke. The mechanisms of stroke treated by TCMET are discussed, and deficiencies in the literature are discussed and analyzed. Objective. To investigate the application value of comprehensive nursing combined with comfort nursing for severe stroke patients with diabetes in the intensive care unit (ICU), as well as its effect on the incidence of pressure ulcers and aspiration. Methods. Between March 2019 and March 2021, 123 severe stroke patients with diabetes who were treated at our hospital were randomly assigned to one of two groups: the control group (n = 61) or the study group (n = 62). The control group received normal care, but the research group received comprehensive nursing as well as comfort nursing. The two patient groups were compared in terms of the effects of the clinical application. Results. The two groups did not differ significantly in general data (P > 0.05). The shorter ICU monitoring and extubation times, the lower incidence of pressure ulcers, aspiration, and nosocomial infections, and higher self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores and a lower MOS 36-item short-form health survey (SF-36) score were all observed in the research group when compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion. For severe stroke patients with diabetes in the ICU, comprehensive nursing combined with comfort nursing has a promising effect, significantly, lowering the risk of pressure ulcers, aspiration, and nosocomial infections, accelerating physical recovery, enhancing mental state, and ensuring a better prognosis, deserving general clinical promotion. Background. The effect of pre-emptive analgesia plus early weight-bearing treadmill training (EWBTT) on healing and motor function recovery of femoral shaft fracture is not clear. Methods. A total of 60 SD male rats were randomly allocated into 4 groups: group A (pre-emptive analgesia with EWBTT), group B (pre-emptive analgesia with delayed weight-bearing treadmill training, DWBTT), group C (pre-emptive analgesia with no weight-bearing), and group D (EWBTT with no pre-emptive analgesia). All rats were molded by internal fixation with Kirschner wire after right femoral shaft fracture. In groups A, B, and C, tramadol was intramuscularly injected 15 minutes before surgery. EWBTT was performed at day 1 postoperatively in groups A and D, and DWBTT was performed at day 14 postoperatively in group B. Oblique plate test was accomplished to assess hindlimb motor function recovery of rats in each group. Status of fracture healing was assessed through digital radiography (DR). Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and immunohistochemistry of bone morphogenetic protein-2 (MBP-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in callus were performed to explore fracture healing. The expression of BMP-2 and VEGF protein in quadriceps femoris muscle was detected by Western blot technique and mRNA expression of BMP-2 and VEGF in callus ascertained via reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique. Results. For oblique plate test, rats in group A outperformed those in groups B and C at all time points after operation. DR image revealed that large numbers of callus growth, blurred fracture line, and obvious continuous callus passing through the fracture line can be found in group A at day 28 postoperatively, which is the best healing status among all groups. HE staining of callus confirmed the optimal effect of healing for rats in group A. VEGF and BMP-2 expression by immunohistochemistry showed a significantly higher positive score for callus in group A while those in group C being the lowest at all time points postoperatively. Significantly higher expression level of VEGF and BMP-2 protein was detected in quadriceps femoris muscle from group A, which exceeded those in all other groups at all time points. RT-PCR testing proved the highest expression of BMP-2 and VEGF mRNA in callus of rats from group A, significantly higher than those of other groups. Conclusions. Both pre-emptive analgesia and EWBTT can effectively invoke the expression of VEGF and BMP-2 and promote recovery of hindlimb locomotor function in rats with femoral fracture, and the combination of them leads to more superior results. With the development of medicine and sport science, growing attention has been paid to the recovery of exercise-induced fatigue. Ginseng pectin has been shown to be important for a variety of biological functions. Although many studies suggest that ginseng pectin plays an important role in the alleviation of exercise-induced fatigue, the underlying mechanism still remains unclear. In this study, C57BL/6J mice were subjected to a wheel apparatus for exhaustive exercise and fed with ginseng pectin WGPA (acidic fraction of water-soluble ginseng polysaccharides) afterwards. Subsequently, a series of physiological and biochemical indexes, such as blood lactic acid, blood glucose, muscle glycogen, insulin, and glucagon, is evaluated. Meanwhile, enzymatic activity and mRNA level of key enzymes involved in hepatic gluconeogenesis are analyzed. Our results demonstrate that the treatment of ginseng pectin WGPA can result in enhanced gluconeogenesis and decreased insulin and in turn facilitate the recovery of exercise-induced fatigue. In response to WGPA treatment, both phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) and glucose 6 phosphatase (G6Pase) activity were upregulated, indicating that these two enzymes play a critical role in WGPA-induced upregulation in gluconeogenesis. Moreover, mRNA level of G6Pase, but not PEPCK, was increased upon WGPA treatment, suggesting that G6Pase expression is regulated by WGPA. Importantly, the presence of WGPA downregulated insulin both in vivo and in vitro, suggesting the upregulation in gluconeogenesis may be due to alterations in insulin. Objective. The objective is to explore the surgical index, postoperative complications, recovery speed, and prognosis of Stanford type A aortic dissection (AD) compared with traditional 'Sun's operation. Methods. One hundred patients with Stanford type A AD treated from February 2018 to February 2021 were enrolled in our hospital. Patients were randomly divided into control and research group. The former group underwent traditional Sun's surgery, and the latter group underwent combined debranching surgery. The general data, surgical indexes, total amount of blood transfusion, renal function 72 hours after operation, postoperative indexes during hospitalization, and follow-up results after discharge were compared between the two groups. Results. The CPB time, ACC time, operation time, and postoperative total drainage volume of the study group were all lower than those of the control group, and the intraoperative urine volume of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The total amount of RBC infused in the study group was higher than that in the control group, while the total amount of PLT, cryoprecipitate, and plasma infusion in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). At 72 hours after operation, BUN, Scr, and UA in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The number of the secondary intubation, hemodialysis, neurological complications, and deaths in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion. Both Sun's operation and branch removal are more effective treatment methods, and the two different surgical methods have different indications, advantages, and disadvantages, so different surgical methods can be chosen according to different conditions for Stanford AD. The possible postoperative complications should be comprehensively analyzed in the clinical work in order to reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications and improve the cure rate. Objective. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been recommended for the initial and salvage treatment of patients with idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSHL), but its underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we investigated whether HBOT alters serum levels of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) in patients with ISSHL. Then, we identified the relationship between hearing recovery and changes in serum IGF-1 and HSP70 levels. Methods. Moderately severe to profound unilateral ISSHL patients (n = 70) and healthy control participants (n = 30) were enrolled. The ISSHL patients were randomly assigned to receive medical therapy alone (MT group, n = 35) or both HBOT and medical therapy (HBOT + MT group, n = 35). Audiometric testing was performed before and after treatment. Serum IGF-1 and HSP70 levels were assessed by ELISA in ISSHL patients pre-and posttreatment and healthy controls. Results. Before treatment, compared with the healthy controls, serum IGF-1 and HSP70 were lower in ISSHL patients. After treatment, serum IGF-1 and HSP70 increased in both the HBOT + MT and MT groups, although they were significantly higher in the HBOT + MT group (p < 0.01). In the HBOT + MT group, these increases were associated with hearing gains. In addition, IGF-1 was strongly associated with HSP70 (r = 0.621, p = 0.001). No such association was found in the MT group (p = 0.757). Conclusion. Administering HBOT in addition to medical therapy can improve the hearing of patients with moderately severe to profound unilateral ISSHL. Objective. This study aimed to observe the clinical efficacy of low-frequency electrical stimulation therapy combined with tonifying the kidney and activating blood pills to promote uterine recovery after abortion and its effect on heat-shock protein (HSP)70 and HSP90. Methods. All cases were women with early pregnancy who underwent an abortion at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from September 2019 to September 2020. They were divided into two groups in accordance with the principle of patient voluntariness: 237 cases in the experimental group and 143 cases in the control group. Patients in both groups were given low-frequency electrical stimulation after surgery. In addition, patients in the experimental group began to take the Dingkun pill orally (one pill per time, two times per day) from the first day of surgery and continued to take it until their menstruation returned to normal. Abdominal pain, the duration of vaginal bleeding, and the amount of bleeding were observed in both groups. Uterine size, endometrial thickness, and urinary human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) status were also observed at 2 weeks postoperatively to determine preoperative and postoperative HSP70 and HSP90 serum levels. The time of menstrual resumption, menstrual period, and menstrual volume were observed and compared with preoperative menstruation. The occurrence of complications, such as a residual uterine cavity, uterine effusion, menstrual irregularities, and reproductive tract infections, during the follow-up period was also recorded in both groups. Results. Comparison of the endometrial thickness (mm) and uterine size (sum of the three diameters) on uterine adnexal ultrasound at 2-week postoperative review was better in the experimental group than in the control group (p < 0.05). No statistically significant difference was found between the two groups in terms of residual uterine cavity and blood accumulation in the uterine cavity and the results of the urine pregnancy test (p > 0.05). Serum HSP70 and HSP90 levels were significantly higher in the control group than in the experimental group 2 weeks after surgery (p < 0.05). Postoperative HSP70 and HSP90 levels were significantly higher than preoperative levels in both groups (p < 0.05). The degree of postoperative abdominal pain in the experimental group was less severe than that in the control group, and the duration was shorter (p < 0.05). No statistically significant differences were observed when comparing the duration of postoperative vaginal bleeding and the amount of bleeding (p > 0.05). The time of the first menstrual resumption and menstrual volume were more satisfactory in the experimental group than in the control group (p < 0.05). No adverse reactions occurred in either group of patients receiving treatment. Conclusion.Low-frequency electrical stimulation combined with tonifying the kidney and invigorating blood pills could effectively promote uterine rejuvenation after abortion, conducive to improving patients' postoperative abdominal pain, promoting menstrual recovery and maintaining menstrual flow. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic, and autoimmune disease, and its main pathological changes are inflammatory cell infiltration accompanied by the secretion and accumulation of a variety of related cytokines, which induce the destruction of cartilage and bone tissue. Therefore, the modulation of inflammatory cells and cytokines is a key therapeutic target for controlling inflammation in RA. This review details the effects of emodin on the differentiation and maturation of T lymphocytes, dendritic cells, and regulatory T cells. In addition, the systematic introduction of emodin directly or indirectly affects proinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1, IL-1β, IL-17, IL-19, and M-CSF) and anti-inflammatory cytokines (the secretion of IL-4, IL-10, IL-13, and TGF-β) through the coregulation of a variety of inflammatory cytokines to inhibit inflammation in RA and promote recovery. Objective. The study aimed to investigate the correlation between the severity of disease and postoperative neurological recovery in patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) combined with developmental spinal stenosis. Methods. A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 114 CSM patients combined with developmental spinal stenosis admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 was performed. All of the patients who underwent posterior cervical unidoor vertebroplasty were divided into the mild, moderate, and severe groups according to the Torg–Pavlov ratio. The clinical data including patients' age, course of spinal cord high signal change, and first onset age were collected. The recovery time, preoperative, and postoperative Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) scores of patients in each group were compared with the calculation of the improvement rate. The correlation between the severity of disease and postoperative neurological recovery in CSM patients combined with developmental spinal stenosis was analyzed by Pearson correlation. The factors influencing postoperative neurological recovery were analyzed using multivariate logistic regression analysis. The receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) was used to evaluate the value of each influencing factor in predicting postoperative recovery. Results. Significant differences were observed in the proportion of linear hyperintensity changes in the spinal cord, the age of first onset, the course of the disease, and the Torg–Pavlov ratio among the mild, moderate, and severe groups (P < 0. 05). The postoperative recovery time of the moderate and severe groups was significantly higher than that of the mild group, while the preoperative JOA score was significantly lower than that of the mild group. On the other hand, the postoperative recovery time of the severe group was prominently higher than that of the moderate group, whereas the preoperative JOA score was observably lower than that of the moderate group (P < 0. 05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the postoperative recovery time was significantly negatively correlated with the Torg–Pavlov ratio, age at first onset, and disease course (r = −0.359, −0.502, −0.368, P < 0. 05), while it was positively correlated with spinal cord linear high-signal changes (r = 0.641, P < 0. 05). Multifactorial logistic regression analysis revealed that the Torg–Pavlov ratio, age at first onset, and disease course were protective factors, while spinal cord linear high-signal alterations were risk factors affecting the recovery time of postoperative neurological function (P < 0. 05). The area under the curve (AUC) of the Torg–Pavlov ratio, linear hyperintensity changes in the spinal cord, age at first onset, and disease duration in predicting the postoperative neurological recovery time were 0.794, 0.767, 0.772, and 0.802, respectively. The AUC predicted by the combined detection of each factor was 0.876, which was better than the area under the curve of single prediction. Conclusion. Patients with CSM combined with developmental spinal stenosis were characterized by younger age of onset, a short course of the disease, and linear changes in the spinal cord high signal. The degree of developmental spinal stenosis may affect the postoperative recovery time of neurological function in CSM patients but had little effect on postoperative neurological recovery. The Torg–Pavlov ratio, age of first onset, course of the disease, and changes in the spinal cord linear hyperintensity were the factors that affected postoperative neurological recovery, which may provide a basis for reasonably predicting a postoperative neurological recovery in patients with CSM combined with developmental spinal stenosis. Objective. To explore the value of continuous nursing (CN) based on WeChat in improving healthy quality of life and self-management behavior of patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN). Methods. A total of 100 patients with DN who were treated in our hospital from November 2019 to January 2020 were selected. Thereinto, 54 patients who received CN based on WeChat were considered as the research group, and 46 patients who received the routine nursing intervention were considered as the control group. Peripheral blood samples were collected before nursing intervention (T0), 1 month after intervention (T1), and 2 months after intervention (T2) to test blood glucose, blood lipid, and renal function. Exercise of self-care agency (ESCA) scale and general self-efficacy scale (GSES) was conducted to evaluate patients' self-management ability, and a short-form 36-item health survey (SF-36) was conducted to evaluate their quality of life. Finally, the treatment compliance and satisfaction of patients were investigated. Results. There was no marked difference in blood glucose, blood lipid, and renal function between groups at T0 (P > 0.05), but the research group was better than the control group at T1 and T2 (P < 0.05). After the nursing intervention, the scores of ESCA, GSES, and SF-36 in the research group were higher (P < 0.05). In addition, the treatment compliance rate and satisfaction of the research group were also higher. Conclusion. CN based on WeChat can effectively improve the self-management behavior and quality of life of DN patients, which is extremely suitable for such chronic diseases with extremely long treatment cycles and can provide a more effective guarantee for their recovery. Background. Poststroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) has been increasingly recognized in patients. However, it remains unclear whether ADLs recovery is more susceptible to domain-specific cognitive abilities after a stroke. Therefore, the study was designed to investigate the cognitive functions of patients with PSCI at admission by using the Chinese (Putonghua) Version of the Oxford Cognitive Screen (OCS-P) as well as to identify the prognostic value of domain-specific cognitive abilities on the recovery of ADLs when discharged. Methods. A total of 153 hospitalized stroke patients were included in this prospective study. Cognitive function was assessed by OCS-P when participants were admitted to the hospital. The ADLs were measured at admission and discharge, and recovery was estimated by the improvement between admission and discharge. A diagnostic model using logistic regression was constructed to identify the prognostic value of domain-specific cognitive abilities for ADLs. The efficacy and accuracy of the diagnostic model were assessed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) and Hosmer-Lemeshow's goodness of fit test. The diagnostic model was validated by 10-fold cross-validation and presented as a nomogram. Results. The score of OCS-P was 60(49.75, 69). The most frequently impaired cognitive domain was number writing (60.8%), followed by verbal memory (52.9%). Multivariate logistic regression showed executive dysfunction was a risk prognostic factor of ADLs recovery (P < 0.001 , OR = 3.176 [95% CI, 1.218∼8.278]). The ROC curve of the diagnostic model was 0.839, with a good diagnostic efficacy. Hosmer–Lemeshow test showed diagnostic model had good calibration ability (χ2 = 8.939.3, P = 0.347 > 0.05). The average error rate after adjustment of 10-fold cross-validation was 20.93%, within the acceptable range. Conclusions. Post-stroke patients generally suffered from multidimensional cognitive impairments. Executive dysfunction screened with OCS-P at clinical admission was a reliable and accessible predictive factor ADLs recovery in patients with PSCI. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical efficacy of ultrasound-guided percutaneous transhepatic gallbladder drainage (PTGD) for the treatment of severe acute cholecystitis (AC). The data of 40 patients diagnosed with severe AC at our hospital between August 2020 and June 2021 were retrieved and classified into a PTGD group, open cholecystostomy (OC) group, laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) group, and conventional conservative treatment (CT) group. Before treatment and on days 1, 3, 5, and 7 after treatment, their serum levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), white blood cell count (WBC), IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, and cancer antigen 19–9 (CA19-9) were measured. Additionally, clinical manifestations such as body temperature and pain score were monitored before treatment and at 24, 48, and 72 hours after treatment. The recovery time and complications/adverse reactions were statistically analyzed, and the Kaplan–Meier survival curve was plotted. After treatment, compared with the other three groups, the PTGD group had a significant reduction in serum indicators, including WBC and inflammatory factors, recovery time, pain score, and complications, and benefitted from better treatment efficacy and higher survival rate. Background. This study was designed to explore the effects of collagen antibacterial functional dressing plus continuous care on norepinephrine-induced lower extremity skin injury in patients with septic shock. Methods. In this prospective, randomized, controlled study, 120 patients with septic shock receiving norepinephrine in our hospital from February 2020 to February 2021 were recruited. All the enrollments were randomized into the experimental group (n = 60) and the control group (n = 60). The control group received continuous care, while the experimental group additionally received collagen antibacterial functional dressing. Outcome measures included skin sensation scores, incidence of lower extremity skin injuries, recovery time, inflammatory factor levels, and care satisfaction. Results. Collagen antibacterial functional dressing plus continuous care resulted in significantly lower skin sensation scores and a lower incidence of skin injuries versus continuous care alone. Patients in the experimental group had faster recovery of lower extremity skin injury than those in the control group. Collagen antibacterial functional dressing plus continuous care was associated with significantly lower levels of inflammatory factors and a higher satisfaction rate than continuous care alone. Conclusion. Collagen antibacterial functional dressing plus continuous care improves the local skin condition of patients with septic shock receiving norepinephrine, regulates the levels of inflammatory factors, reduces the risk of skin injuries, and enhances care satisfaction. Objective. To investigate the effect of multimodal analgesia combined with auricular point therapy on physical and mental stress and rehabilitation quality of patients with meniscus injury during the perioperative period. Methods. 148 patients in our hospital from October 2019 to October 2021 who were scheduled to undergo meniscus surgery were selected and grouped according to the order of file establishment, with 74 cases in each. The control group was given routine analgesia, and the observation group was given multimodal analgesia combined with auricular point therapy. The pain level (visual analogue scale (VAS)), physical and mental stress (heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP), depression scale (PHQ-9), and anxiety scale (GAD-7)), complications, rehabilitation quality, and analgesia satisfaction were observed. Results. The VAS scores of pain in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at 6 hours before operation and at 6 hours, 24 hours, and 72 hours after operation (P < 0.05). The MAP, HR, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group 6 hours before operation (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in MAP, HR, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 scores between the two groups at 6 hours and 24 hours after operation (P > 0.05). The analgesic satisfaction of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 8.11% compared with 12.16% in the control group, which was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). This work aimed to explore the effect of humanized nursing on the patients' recovery from severe sepsis based on continuous blood purification (CBP). 90 patients with severe sepsis were randomly and equally divided into a control group (basic intensive nursing + CBP) and a therapy group (humanized nursing + CBP). Before treatment and on the 7th and 14th days after treatment, indicators of patients were compared, including white blood cell (WBC), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), hepatic and renal function, C-reactive protein (CRP), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), procalcitonin (PCT), and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). The mortality and nursing satisfaction were compared. After treatment, the saturation of pulse oxygen (SPO2) in the therapy group (85 ± 20 and 91 ± 9) was higher than that in the control group (78 ± 28 and 82 ± 18, respectively), and the lactic acid level (LAL) was greatly lower (2.8 ± 2.4 and 1.6 ± 0.9 vs. 4.3 ± 2.3 and 2.3 ± 2.7). The Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II (APACHE-II) score after treatment was lower (13.67 ± 4.28 and 8.45 ± 5.12 vs. 17.34 ± 6.4 and 11.46 ± 4.23). Objective. To investigate the efficacy of donepezil hydrochloride plus olanzapine for senile dementia and its effect on the recovery of cognitive function. Methods. A total of 60 patients with senile dementia admitted to our hospital from April 2020 to July 2021 were recruited and assigned to receive either olanzapine alone (observation group) or donepezil hydrochloride plus olanzapine (experimental group) via the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. Results. The combined therapy resulted in significantly higher clinical efficacy versus monotherapy of olanzapine (P < 0.05). Before treatment, the difference in the scores of cognitive function between the two groups did not come up to the statistical standard (P > 0.05). Donepezil hydrochloride plus olanzapine was associated with significantly higher scores of cognitive function in patients versus olanzapine alone (P < 0.05). The two groups had a similar incidence of adverse reactions (P > 0.05). Conclusion. Donepezil hydrochloride plus olanzapine substantially enhances the recovery of cognitive function of patients with senile dementia and features a manageable safety. Objective. To explore the applied effect of fast-track surgery concept in the perioperative nursing of patients undergoing radical cervical cancer surgery and its influence on mental state. Methods. The clinical data of 110 patients undergoing radical cervical cancer surgery in our hospital from May 2015 to May 2017 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were randomly divided into a research group (n = 55) and a reference group (n = 55). The reference group received routine clinical nursing, and the research group received fast-track surgical nursing. Then, we compared their nursing effect and influence on the mental state of patients in the two groups. Results. The Karnofsky performance status (KPS) scores of patients in the two groups after intervention were significantly lower than those before the intervention (P < 0.001), and after intervention, patients in the research group had significantly lower KPS scores as compared to patients in the reference group (P < 0.001). There was a significant decrease in the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores of patients in the two groups after intervention in comparison with before intervention (P < 0.001), and patients in the research group after intervention had significantly lower SAS and SDS scores compared to the reference group (P < 0.001). Patients in the research group spent short time on expelling gas, eating, and getting out of bed as compared to the reference group (P < 0.001); after intervention, compared to patients in the reference group, patients in the research group had significantly higher scores in cognitive function, emotional function, social function, and physical function (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in IgA, IgM, and IgG levels before intervention (P > 0.05). After intervention, the IgA, IgM, and IgG levels of patients in the two groups were all lower than before intervention, and patients in the research group had significantly higher IgA, IgM, and IgG levels as compared to the reference group (P < 0.001); the complication rate of patients in the research group was significantly lower than that in the reference group (P < 0.05). Purpose. This study set out to explore the therapeutic effects of human-oriented fine nursing intervention on patients undergoing laparoscopic radical nephrectomy and its influence on patients' quality of life. Methods. A total of 120 patients who underwent laparoscopic radical nephrectomy in Sheng Jing Hospital of China Medical University from January 2019 to January 2020 were randomized into group A (n = 60) and group B (n = 60) by the random table method. Group B was treated with routine nursing while group A was additionally treated with human-oriented fine nursing. Meanwhile, the study compared the two groups in terms of vital signs, postoperative recovery time, visual analogue scale (VAS), sleep quality (SQ), adverse psychological response score, and quality of life (QOL). Results. According to our findings, patients of group A had significantly lower heart rate, blood pressure, and adverse psychological response scores compared to those of group B; the postoperative recovery time of group A was considerably shorter than that of group B; the VAS scores of group A at 3 and 6 days after surgery were markedly lower than those of group B; group A had a remarkably higher number of patients with excellent postoperative SQ than group B; and group A saw substantially higher QOL scores of patients compared to group B. Results of this study suggested that fine nursing intervention based on humanistic care for patients undergoing laparoscopic radical nephrectomy can improve the physical condition of patients, refine their mentalities, and improve their sleep quality, thus enhancing their quality of life and accelerating the recovery process. Objective. The aim of this study is to examine the application value of systematic nursing interventions combined with continuity of care in cases with a spinal fracture complicated with a spinal cord injury and its effect on recovery and satisfaction. Methods. We identified ninety cases with a spinal fracture complicated with a spinal cord injury who were admitted to local hospital from May 2019 to May 2021 as research subjects and assigned them into an experimental group (systematic nursing combined with continuity of care, n = 45) and a control group (conventional nursing, n = 45) according to their admission order. The level of life of all groups between intervention was evaluated with reference to the Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 (GQOLI-74) Rating Scale. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression (HAD) scale was used to assess the emotional status of patients before and after intervention. The complication rates, nursing outcomes, nursing satisfaction, and rehabilitation outcomes of all cases were calculated. Results. The GQOLI-74 score of the experimental group was higher than that of another group (P < 0.05). Lower HAD scores of experimental group were observed than that of another group (P < 0.05). The experimental group obtained remarkably higher nursing effective rates and higher nursing satisfaction than another group (P < 0.05). Background. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a self-limiting disease, and there is no specific antiviral drug at present. Purpose. Here, we analyzed the influence of lacidophilin vaginal capsules plus recombinant human interferon α-2b (rh-IFN-α2b) on efficacy, vaginal microecology, and safety of patients with HPV infection. Two hundred cases of HPV infection admitted between January 2019 and December 2020 were retrospectively collected. Of them, 90 cases receiving rh-IFN-α2b intervention were assigned to the control group (CG), and 110 cases given lacidophilin vaginal capsules in addition to rh-IFN-α2b were included in the research group (RG). Baseline data, efficacy, vaginal microecology, microecological restoration recovery, and incidence of adverse events (AEs) were compared between the two groups. Results. The analyses revealed nonsignificant difference in baseline data between RG and CG, indicating comparability. In terms of efficacy, RG showed a statistically higher negative conversion ratio (NCR) than CG (57.27% vs. 47.78%), as well as an obviously higher overall response rate (ORR) (90.90% vs. 72.22%). As far as the vaginal microecology was concerned, the incidence rates of catalase-positive, sialidase-positive, abnormal microbial density, and abnormal microbial diversity of RG were significantly lower compared with CG, but no evident differences were determined in Trichomonas vaginalis-positive and Candida-positive. As for microecological restoration, RG had an obviously higher vaginal microecological recovery rate than CG (90.00% vs. 65.56%), as well as notably lower vaginal secretion pH and Nugent score. On the other hand, RG and CG showed no statistical significance in the incidence of AEs (12.73% vs. 13.33%). Conclusions. The main contributions of this study are as follows: first, it is confirmed that lacidophilin vaginal capsules plus rh-IFN-α2b has better clinical effects than rh-IFN-α2b alone in HPV-infected patients; second, it demonstrates that the combination therapy can significantly improve NCR and ORR, without increasing the incidence of AEs, and is beneficial to improve patients' vaginal microecology and promote its restoration from the multidimensional aspects of efficacy, safety, and vaginal microecology and its recovery. Objective. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of grading rehabilitation nursing mode on limb function, speech function, and QOL of stroke patients. Methods. From January 2018 to April 2019, the stroke patients who received treatment in our hospital were selected as the study participants. Based on the random number table, they were assigned to CG (n = 60) and OG (n = 60). The routine rehabilitation nursing mode was used in the CG, and the grading rehabilitation nursing mode was used in the OG. The limb function, speech function, QOL, and nursing satisfaction were evaluated in both the groups, and the survival curve was analyzed after 12 months of follow-up. Results. The motor function of upper and lower limbs in OG was significantly higher than that in CG, and the total effective rate of speech function recovery in OG was 95.00%, which was obviously higher than 81.67% in CG (P < 0.05); the total QOL score in OG was (80.72 ± 7.15), which was significantly higher than (69.53 ± 6.42) in CG. The nursing satisfaction of the OG was higher (P < 0.05). The Kaplan–Meier curve analysis revealed that the difference of 12-month survival rate between CG and OG was statistically significant (χ2 = 4.710, P = 0.030). Conclusion. The application of grading rehabilitation nursing mode in stroke patients can effectively facilitate the recovery of extremity function and speech function, ameliorate the QOL and nursing satisfaction of patients, reduce the death and disability of patients, and prolong the survival time of patients. For verifying the prognosis of Lucentis-assisted vitrectomy (PPV) in diabetic retinopathy (DR) and neovascular glaucoma (NVG), a retrospective analysis of DR and NVG patients who were admitted to our hospital from July 2019 to December 2020 was conducted. According to the treatment protocol, subjects who had PPV intervention were in the control group (CG; n = 38) and those receiving Lucentis adjunctive PPV were included in the intervention group (RG; n = 40). The indicators between groups were listed: treatment success rate, postoperative complication rate, surgical outcome indicators, BCVA, intraocular pressure (IOP) change, foveal thickness, and VEGF level in aqueous humor. Indicators in RG were obviously higher than in CG, such as treatment success rate and surgical outcome indicators. Conversely, lower postoperative complication rate, postoperative BCVA, IOP, retinal fovea thickness, and VEGF level in aqueous humor were found in RG than in CG. Therefore, the study reached the following conclusions about vitrectomy assisted by Lucentis: (1) it effectively increases the success rate of treatment, decreases postoperative complications as well as surgical risks, and improves patients' vision; (2) it promotes the recovery of IOP, reduces macular edema and VEGF levels in aqueous humor, and inhibits the neonatal formation of blood vessels. To analyze the treatment of elderly femoral intertrochanteric fracture (EFIF) using InterTan intramedullary nail (InterTanIN) and proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA). A total of 75 patients suffering from EFIF receiving intramedullary fixation were retrospectively collected. According to intramedullary fixation methods, the patients were separated into InterTanIN group and PFNA group. Parameters including the surgery time, blood loss, number of X-ray fluoroscopy, hospital stays, bone-healing time, postoperative Harris hip score (HIS) (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months), and complications were collected and analyzed. The results showed surgery time, blood loss, and number of X-ray fluoroscopy in InterTanIN group were higher than those in PFNA group (P < 0.05). The mean hospital stay in the InterTanIN group was comparable to that in the PFNA group (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in bone-healing time between the InterTanIN group and PFNA group (P > 0.05). The postoperative HIS of InterTanIN group was statistically better than PFNA group at the 3rd month and the 6th month (P < 0.05). With the extension of recovery time, the gap between the two groups gradually narrowed. The postoperative implant displacement happened more often in the PFNA group than in the InterTanIN group. EFIF treated with InterTanIN or PFNA could achieve good long-term efficacy. Although InterTanIN has the disadvantages of increased operative time, blood loss, and radiation exposure compared to PFNA, the postoperative hip function recovery of InterTanIN seems to be more reliable and stable than PFNA. After surgical treatment, the gastrointestinal function of tumor patients is inhibited for a short time. Refined nursing is beneficial to the recovery of gastrointestinal function of tumor patients after operation. Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine have their own advantages in the treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction after tumor operation and the combined application of the two is more ideal. Therefore, on the premise of refined nursing, we should carefully study the efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction in tumor patients. Fifty patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction after tumor surgery admitted to Xiamen University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital from June 2021 to August 2022 were retrospectively selected. Twenty two of them received refined care + Western medicine (control group, CG) and the other 28 received refined care + Western medicine + moxibustion and thumb-tack needle Chinese medicine (observation group, OG). We compared the recovery of gastrointestinal function, inflammatory factors, negative emotions, sleep quality, length of stay, medical expenses, and adverse reactions. The postoperative recovery effect of gastrointestinal function in the OG was better than that in the CG. The IL-8 level and TNF -α level in OG were lower than those in CG. Relative to CG, the OG had significantly low SDS scores, SAS scores, PSQ1 scores, length of hospital stay, and medical expenses. The OG incidence of adverse reactions was 28.57%; it was significantly lower than 59.09% in the CG. Objective. To assess the effect of laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis after percutaneous transhepatic gallbladder drainage (PTGBD). Methods. A total of 70 patients with acute cholecystitis diagnosed and treated in our hospital between April 2020 and November 2021 were recruited and assigned to receive either conventional treatment (conventional group) or PTGBD plus laparoscopic cholecystectomy (experimental group) according to the order of admission (with January 2021 as the cut-off time point), with 35 cases in each group. Outcome measures included treatment outcomes, surgical indices, and postoperative recovery. Results. Patients in the experimental group showed significantly less intraoperative hemorrhage volume and shorter operative time, time-lapse before passing gas, and hospital stay (83.15 ± 31.17, 32.54 ± 12.61, 23.02 ± 4.61, 7.98 ± 3.24) versus those in the conventional group (120.56 ± 30.55, 61.01 ± 15.54, 28.15 ± 5.91, 11.95 ± 4.15) (P < 0.05). The incidence of conversion to open surgery and postoperative drainage in the experimental group was significantly lower (2.86%, 5.71%) than that of the conventional group (25.71%, 45.71%) (P < 0.05). The differences in the postoperative body temperature of the two groups did not come up to statistical standard (P > 0.05). The experimental group had faster body temperature recovery and leukocyte recovery and better leukocyte levels (1.25 ± 0.56, 2.36 ± 0.48, 7.92 ± 1.36) than the conventional group (3.11 ± 1.05, 5.41 ± 0.63, 10.52 ± 2.78) (P < 0.05). There was 1 (2.86%) case of pneumothorax and 1 (2.86%) case of intestinal bleeding in the experimental group, and there were 2 (5.71%) cases of biliary leakage, 3 (8.57%) cases of pneumothorax, 4 (11.43%) cases of intestinal bleeding, 5.71% cases of incisional infection, 1 (2.86%) case of respiratory failure, and 1 (2.86%) case of liver damage in the conventional group. The experimental group showed a significantly lower incidence of complications (5.71%) versus the conventional group (37.14%) (P < 0.05). Conclusion. PTGBD plus laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis effectively improves surgical safety, promotes patients' postoperative recovery, and reduces the incidence of conversion to open surgery and postoperative complications with a high safety profile. Background. The study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficiency of the saphenous nerve plus selective tibial nerve block combined with general anesthesia in total knee replacement surgery (TKRS). Methods. Sixty-four patients who underwent unilateral TKRS between October 2019 and June 2020 were selected as study subjects. All patients were divided into the control and observation groups using the random number table method, with 32 patients in each group. Conventional general anesthesia was performed preoperatively in both groups. The control group was given an ultrasound-guided saphenous nerve block before anesthesia induction, and the observation group was given a selective tibial nerve block on the basis of the control group. The dosage of general anesthetic drugs, recovery time from general anesthesia, hemodynamic index, inflammatory response, postoperative analgesic effect, and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results. Compared with the control group, the total amount of propofol and remifentanil used in the observation group was significantly less (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, patients in the observation group experienced remarkably shorter time to recovery from respiration, time to extubation, and time in the PACU (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group showed a significantly reduced SBP and MAP at T2, T3, and T4, respectively, and also showed a prominently lower HR at T3 and T4 (P < 0.05). Markedly lower CRP and IL-6 levels at 6 h and 24 h after surgery were found in the observation group compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, patients receiving nerve block intervention got significantly lower VAS scores at 6 h, 24 h, and 48 h postoperatively (P < 0.05). However, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients (P > 0.05). Conclusion. Purpose. The aim of the study is to understand the current status of physical activity in patients with lung cancer surgery, explore its influencing factors, and analyze the correlation between physical activity and exercise self-efficacy and perception of social support. Methods. The General Information Questionnaire was designed for 145 patients, Chinese version of EPIC-PAQ physical activity scale for lung cancer patients. The Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale (SEE) is used to evaluate the ability of people to organize and execute motor behaviors in various difficult situations. The Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS) was used to emphasize individual self-understanding and self-feeling. Results. The median and quartile of total physical activity scores in lung cancer surgery patients were 73.0 (34.8, 129.7) points; univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in physical activity levels among lung cancer surgery patients with different ages, work status before hospitalization, and perceived disease severity. The results of multivariate analysis showed that age, perceived disease severity, exercise self-efficacy, and total score of perceived social support affected the physical activity level of patients (P < 0.05). Efficacy were positively correlated with perceived social support (P < 0.01). Conclusion. The level of physical activity of patients undergoing lung cancer surgery needs to be further improved. Physical activity is affected by patient age, perceived disease severity, exercise self-efficacy, and perceived social support and is positively correlated with exercise self-efficacy and perceived social support. Objective. The aim is to investigate and compare the anesthesia effect of cisatracurium besylate and mivacurium chloride otolaryngology surgery. Materials and Methods. 108 patients who underwent ENT surgery under general anesthesia in our hospital from November 2021 to March 2022 were recruited for retrospective analysis, in which patients in the experimental group A were anesthetized with cisatracurium besylate and patients in the experimental group B were anesthetized with mivacurium, and the anesthetic effects and recovery of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results. There was no significant difference in mean arterial pressure, heart rate, and pulse oximetry levels between the two groups at the six time points of admission, anesthesia induction, intubation, end of operation, recovery of consciousness, and extubation (all P > 0.05). The train of four stimulation values at end of operation, recovery of consciousness, and extubation were significantly higher than those of the experimental group A (all P > 0.05). The recovery time of self-consciousness, extubation time, and eye-opening time of the experimental group B were significantly shorter than those of the experimental group A, and the occurrence of agitation was significantly less than that of the experimental group A (all P > 0.05). The total incidence of adverse conditions in the experimental group B was significantly lower than that in the experimental group A (P > 0.05). Conclusion. Compared with cisatracurium besylate in otolaryngology surgery, mivacurium chloride anesthesia offers a promising route with respect to less impact on hemodynamics, faster postoperative recovery, absence of the accumulation of neuromuscular blockade, less adverse reactions, and higher safety. Peripheral electrical nerve stimulation enhances hand function during stroke rehabilitation. Here, we proposed a percutaneous direct median nerve stimulation guided by ultrasound (ultrasound‐guided median nerve electrical stimulation, UG-MNES) and evaluated its feasibility and effectiveness in the treatment of stroke patients with upper limb extremity impairments. Sixty-three stroke patients (2-3 months of onset) were randomly divided into control and UG-MNES groups. Both groups received routine rehabilitation and the UG-MNES group received an additional ultrasound-guided electrical stimulation of the median nerve at 2 Hz, 0.2 ms pulse-width for 20 minutes with gradual intensity enhancement. The Fugl-Meyer Assessment for upper extremity motor function (FMA-UE) was used as the primary outcome. The secondary outcomes were the Functional Test for the Hemiplegic Upper Extremity (FTHUE-HK), Hand Function Rating Scale, Brunnstrom Stages, and Barthel Index scores for motor and daily functions. All the participants completed the trial without any side effects or adverse events during the intervention. After 4 weeks of intervention, the functions of the upper limbs on the hemiplegic side in both groups achieved significant recovery. Compared to the control group, all evaluation indices used in this trial were improved significantly in the UG-MNES group after 2 and 4 weeks of intervention; particularly, the first intervention of UG-MNES immediately improved all the assessment items significantly. In conclusion, the UG-MNES is a safe and feasible treatment for stroke patients with upper limb extremity impairments and could significantly improve the motor function of the affected upper limb, especially in the first intervention. Purpose. To explore the effect of propofol plus remifentanil for postoperative pain and heart rate management in patients undergoing abdominal hysterectomy. Methods. In this prospective randomized controlled study, 96 patients who underwent abdominal hysterectomy in an affiliated hospital of Fujian Medical University from April 2016 to April 2017 were recruited and randomized into the study group (n = 48) and control group (n = 48) via the random number table method. The control group received remifentanil for anesthesia, and the study group was given propofol plus remifentanil. The postoperative pain and heart rates of patients were compared between the two groups. Results. No significant difference was observed in the heart rate and adrenaline values between the two groups before anesthesia, and the study group had significantly lower adrenaline values and heart rates intraoperatively and 15 min after operation than the control group. Patients in the study group showed shorter time-lapse before independent breathing recovery, extubation, and resuscitation compared to those in the control group. The study group received less patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) as compared to the study group within 48 h after operation. In the study group, the numeric rating scale (NRS) scores within 1 h, 2 h, 6 h, 8 h, and 12 h after operation were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.001). Purpose. To explore the effect of oral tranexamic acid treatment on the blood transfusion rate and the incidence of deep vein thromboembolism after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods. 90 patients undergoing TKA admitted to First People's Hospital of Changshu City from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected and randomized into the control group and the experimental group accordingly (45 cases in each group). The control group intravenously received 20 mL/kg tranexamic acid before the incision was closed. The experimental group was given 1 g of tranexamic acid orally before anesthesia, 6 h and 12 h after the operation. Results. The experimental group witnessed better perioperative indexes in relation to the control group. The experimental group displayed better postoperative coagulation function indexes as compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Remarkably lower postoperative vascular endothelial function indexes in the experimental group than in the control group were observed. The experimental group experienced a markedly lower incidence of deep vein thromboembolism in comparison with the control group (P < 0.05). The postoperative knee society score (KSS) score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group. A significantly higher postoperative modified rivermead mobility index (MRMI) score was yielded in the experimental group in contrast to the control group (P < 0.05). Background. Bladder cancer is a common malignant tumor of the urinary system in the clinic. It has multiple lesions, easy recurrence, easy metastasis, poor prognosis, and high mortality. Objective. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of laparoscopic radical cystectomy (LRC) and open radical cystectomy (ORC) on the surgical outcome, complications, and prognosis of elderly patients with bladder cancer. Materials and Methods. One hundred elderly bladder cancer patients who underwent surgery in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected for the retrospective study and were divided into 50 cases each in the ORC group and the LRC group according to the different surgical methods. The ORC group was treated with ORC, and the LRC group implemented LRC treatment. The differences in surgery, immune function, recent clinical outcomes, and complications between the two groups were observed and compared. Results. The mean operative time, mean intraoperative bleeding, intraoperative and postoperative transfusion rate, and transfusion volume of patients in the LRC group were statistically significant when compared to the ORC group. The differences in the meantime to resume eating, time to get out of bed, mean number of days in hospital after surgery, and the amount of postoperative numbing analgesics used by patients in the LRC group after surgery were statistically significant compared to the ORC group (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of immune function between the two groups before surgery (P > 0.05), while the comparison of CD8+ and B cells 1 week after surgery of the LRC group was significantly better than that of the ORC group (P < 0.05), and the operation time of the LRC group was longer than that of the ORC group (P < 0.05). Statistical analysis of postoperative complications showed that the overall incidence of postoperative complications in the LRC group was significantly lower than that in the ORC group (16.67% vs. 46.67%) (P < 0.05). Objective. To investigate the effect of different doses of dexmedetomidine combined with thoracic paravertebral nerve block anesthesia on agitation and hemodynamics in patients undergoing thoracotomy during recovery. Methods. One hundred patients who underwent thoracotomy in our hospital from August 2018 to April 2021 were enrolled and assigned (1 : 1 : 1 : 1) into 4 groups via the random number table method. The patients in the control group were treated with double-lumen tube general anesthesia + ropivacaine for thoracic paravertebral nerve block anesthesia; patients in experimental group A received double-lumen general anesthesia +0.5 μg·kg−1 dexmedetomidine + ropivacaine for thoracic paravertebral nerve block anesthesia; patients in experimental group B received thoracic paravertebral nerve block anesthesia with double-lumen general anesthesia +1.0 μg·kg−1 dexmedetomidine + ropivacaine; patients in experimental group C received thoracic paravertebral nerve block anesthesia with double-lumen general anesthesia +1.5 μg·kg−1 dexmedetomidine + ropivacaine. The postoperative recovery time and visual analog scale (VAS), level of hemodynamics (heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP)), agitation during the recovery period, and complications were compared amongst the 4 groups of patients at different time points. Results. The postoperative VAS scores of patients in groups B2 and B3 were slightly lower than those of patients in groups A and B1, but a one-way analysis of variance revealed no statistical difference in the postoperative recovery time and VAS pain scores of the four groups (P > 0.05), and the recovery time of patients in experimental group C was slightly higher than that of patients in group B2. At T0 and T1, there was no significant difference in the levels of HR and MAP among the four groups (P > 0.05). The levels of HR and MAP of the patients in groups B2 and B3 were significantly different from the patients in the control group and experimental group A at T2 and T3 (P < 0.05). The patients in experimental group B and experimental group C showed better outcomes than those in the control group and experimental group A in the assessment of agitation during the recovery period (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications among the four groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion. In line with the principle of preference for a small anesthesia dose, 1.0 μg·kg−1 dose of dexmedetomidine combined with ropivacaine produces a pronounced efficacy in patients undergoing thoracotomy. Background. In the current study, we assessed the effect of the ultrasound-guided internal branch of the upper laryngeal nerve (USG-guided iSLN) block combined with general anesthesia on perioperative sore throat (POST), cough, hoarseness of voice, intraoperative hemodynamic changes, and the quality of early recovery for the patients undergoing suspension laryngoscopy vocal cord polypectomy (SLVCP). Methods. This was a randomized controlled trail. Eighty patients, aged from 18 to 70 years old, ASA I ∼ II, scheduled for polypectomy of the vocal cord by using a laryngoscope, were randomized into 2 groups (n = 40 each) using a random number table. Patients in group C received general anesthesia (GA), whereas those in group S received USG-guided iSLN block bilaterally (37.5 mg of 0.375% ropivacaine, 5 ml each side) combined with GA. The primary outcome was the quality of patients' recovery using the Quality of Recovery Questionnaire (QoR-9). The secondary outcomes were postoperative cough, sore throat, hoarseness of voice, and hemodynamic changes in both groups at corresponding time points. The adverse reactions such as postoperative chocking, or aspiration, and dyspnea was recorded as well. Results. The QoR-9 scores of patients in group C were lower than those of group S at time points of D1∼D2 (P < 0.05). Patients in group S had a significantly lower incidence of perioperative cough than those in group C in the early postoperative period (1 hour after extubation) (P < 0.05), the scores of sore throat were lower in group S than those in group C (P < 0.05), the incidence of postoperative hoarseness was increased in group S than that in group C at the time points of 30 min, 2 h, and 4 h after extubation (P < 0.05); however, the incidence of postoperative hoarseness was decreased in group S than that in group C at the time point of 24 h after extubation (P < 0.05). MAP and HR of group S was lower than those of group C at time points of T1∼T4 (P < 0.05). No serious adverse events were observed in both groups. Conclusion. The study found that the application of ultrasound guided superior laryngeal nerve block combined with general anesthesia for the patients undergoing SLVCP could effectively promote the quality of early recovery. Objective. To explore the effect of chronic heart failure complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus on cognitive function in the elderly. Methods. 600 patients with chronic heart failure were selected from January 2018 to January 2021. All patients were divided into observation group (A) and control group (B). A was chronic heart failure complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus group. B was chronic heart failure group. The clinical effects of the two groups were observed. Results. Compared with the clinical indexes during and after operation, there were differences in operation time, postoperative recovery time, and treatment cost between A and B, but the difference is not significant (all P > 0.05). LVEF cardiac function index score, LVEF score of A compared with B, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The MMSE score and MoCA score of the two groups were compared. Before operation, the MMSE score and MoCA score of A were lower than those of B, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After operation, the MMSE score and MoCA score in B were significantly higher than those in B, but the increasing trend of MMSE score and MoCA score in B was significantly higher than that in A (P < 0.05). Comparison of HAMA score and HAMD score: before operation, the HAMA score and HAMD score were higher in A, but the difference is not significant (P > 0.05). After operation, the scores of HAMA and HAMD in A and B decreased significantly, but the difference is not significant (P > 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the fasting blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were the risk factors of cognitive impairment. Conclusion. Objective. To assess the efficacy of targeted perioperative management for diabetic patients with traumatic calcaneal fractures. Methods. Between April 2020 and December 2020, 100 diabetic patients with traumatic calcaneal fractures treated in our institution satisfying the inclusion criteria were enrolled and assigned to receive either conventional treatment with surgery or plaster fixation (observation group) or targeted treatment with surgery or plaster fixation (experimental group) via the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. All eligible patients were followed up for 1 year postoperatively. Outcome measures included length of hospital stay, recovery time, fracture healing, duration of postoperative wound drainage, complication rate, blood glucose, and treatment satisfaction. The Maryland score was used for the assessment of foot function. Results. The duration of postoperative wound drainage, length of hospital stay, and recovery time in the experimental group (3.63 ± 1.04 d, 12.13 ± 3.77 d, and 111.22 ± 16.24 d) were significantly shorter than those in the observation group (5.71 ± 2.34 d, 15.28 ± 4.42 d, 123.10 ± 22.82 d) (P < 0.01). The experimental group obtained a markedly higher complete healing rate versus the observation group (P < 0.001). A significantly lower complication rate was observed in the experimental group than in the observation group (P < 0.05). The Maryland scores results were dichotomized into good (≥75 points) and poor (<75 points). The experimental group showed significantly higher Maryland scores good rate and treatment satisfaction versus the observation group (P < 0.01). The experimental group patients were associated with better postoperative fasting glucose and 2 h postprandial glucose versus those in the observation group (P < 0.05). Conclusion. Objective. To investigate the effects of intensive gaze stability training (IGST) combined with conventional drug therapy and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy on hearing recovery and quality of life (QOL) in patients with bilateral vestibular dysfunction. Materials and Methods. A total of 120 patients with bilateral vestibular dysfunction admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were recruited and assigned to group A (n = 60) and group B (n = 60) based on the order of admission. Group B received conventional medication and TCM therapy, and group A received IGST plus conventional medication and TCM therapy. The serum biochemical indexes, blood rheology indexes, symptoms disappearance time, hearing recovery time, pure-tone hearing threshold, vestibular symptom index (VSI), and QOL of the two groups were compared. Results. The serum biochemical indexes and blood rheology indexes in group A were lower than those in group B after treatment (P < 0.001). Patients in group A had a shorter time lapse before symptoms disappearance and hearing recovery than those in group B (P < 0.001). Group A had lower results of the pure-tone hearing threshold (P < 0.001) and of VSI (P < 0.05) than group B. Patients in group A had higher QOL scores than those in group B after treatment (P < 0.001). Conclusion. IGST plus conventional drug therapy effectively improves the serum biochemical indexes and blood rheological indexes of patients with bilateral vestibular hypofunction, accelerates their hearing recovery process, and alleviates their clinical symptoms, thereby improving their QOL, which shows good potential in clinical application. Surgical care is one of the significant aspects of global healthcare, with approximately 234 million operations being conducted annually. Surgical treatment has a substantial risk of complications and death. This study was conducted to explore the application effect of the infection control route in the operating room on the wound infection prevention care of patients. The clinical data of 136 patients receiving surgical treatment from October 2018 to October 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The participants were assigned via random draw at a ratio of 1 : 1 to receive either routine care management (control group) or the infection control route (research group). The surgical wound infections of patients in the two groups were compared. The research group had higher scores in surgical materials management and disinfectant management than the control group (P < 0.01). In the research group, the total number of colonies within 5 minutes before surgery, 25 minutes after the start of surgery, and after surgery were all smaller than those in the control group (P < 0.01). There were no significant differences in the grade B healing rate between the two groups (P > 0.05), and the research group had a significantly higher healing rate in grade A than the control group, but its grade C healing rate and wound infection rate were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). In the research group, the length of hospital stay, the time to get out of bed, the antibiotic use duration, and the stitch removal time was significantly shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.0001). The research group received a higher clinical nursing satisfaction than the control group (P < 0.05). Objective. The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of bladder flap ureteroplasty (psoas hitch) in the treatment of lower ureteral injuries and strictures. Methods. 19 patients with lower ureteral injuries and strictures scheduled for a bladder flap ureteroplasty (psoas hitch) in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were recruited. The outcome measures included treatment efficacy and safety. Results. The operative time, intraoperative bleeding, catheter extubation time, hospital stay, extubation time of ureteral stent, and follow-up time were (125.36 ± 15.38) min, (75.37 ± 11.09) ml, (7.25 ± 1.04) d, (8.76 ± 1.11) d, (46.34 ± 7.66) d, and(19.27 ± 1.27) months, respectively. No serious perioperative adverse reactions were observed, and all the symptoms of patients were relieved. Conclusion. Bladder flap ureteroplasty (psoas hitch) is safe and effective for the treatment of lower ureteral injuries, with advantages such as less intraoperative bleeding and trauma and rapid recovery, so it is worthy of promotion. Renal cell carcinoma is abbreviated as renal carcinoma, and its clinical symptoms are basically hematuria, lumbago, and abdomen bump. As people's lifestyles change, the incidence of renal carcinoma continues to rise due to factors such as smoking and obesity. At present, surgical treatment is mostly used in clinical practice. Traditional open radical nephrectomy (ORN) is one of the main methods for clinical treatment of renal carcinoma. However, due to its large wound and large amount of intraoperative blood loss, the renal function of patients after surgery is poor, which is not conducive to the postoperative recovery of patients. Retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (RLRN) has been widely used in the surgical treatment of renal cancer due to its advantages of small wound, less bleeding, and rapid recovery. The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of RLRN in the treatment of renal cancer patients and its effect on renal function and to analyze the related factors affecting postoperative recurrence of patients. We adopt ORN and RLRN, two kinds of treatment, in patients with renal cancer surgery way, contrast analysis of the two groups of operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative intestinal function recovery time, drainage tube indwelling time, length of hospital stay, and other clinical indicators and renal function indexes and use the single factor analysis and multifactor analysis, the relevant factors that affect kidney cancer patients with postoperative recurrence. The results showed that, compared with ORN treatment, RLRN treatment of renal cancer patients has a short operation time, less trauma, quick recovery after surgery, and fewer complications and can effectively alleviate the renal function injury and the body's inflammatory response, which is worthy of promotion. Background. Lianhua Qingke (LH) tablets is an effective traditional Chinese medicine against various viral infections, especially in relieving coughing. However, its effects on COVID-19 are unknown. Methods. To examine the therapeutic effectiveness of LH tablets in COVID-19 patients with mild and common types, a randomized, multicenter, controlled study was carried out. COVID-19 cases were randomized to undergo routine treatment with or without LH tablets (4 tablets, three times a day) for 14 days. The primary endpoints were the rate of achieving clinical symptom resolution and the corresponding time. Results. There were 144 participants in the full analysis set (72 each in the LH and control groups). The LH group participants had elevated symptom alleviation rate at 14 days compared with control cases (FAS: 98.61% vs. 84.72%, p = 0.0026). In comparison with control group participants, the LH group participants had reduced median time to clinical symptom alleviation (median: 4 vs. 7 days, p < 0.0001). Higher resolution rates of coughing (98.44% vs. 84.51%, p = 0.0045) and expectoration (100% vs. 82.35%, p = 0.0268) were observed in the LH group. Times to recovery of fever (median: 2 vs. 3 days, p = 0.0007), coughing (median: 4 vs. 7 days, p < 0.0001), and expectoration (median: 3 vs. 6 days, p < 0.0001) were also notably shorter in the LH group. Moreover, the LH group had elevated improvement rates in chest computed tomography signs (FAS: 86.11% vs. 72.22%, p = 0.0402) and clinical cure at day 28 (FAS: 83.33% vs. 68.06%, p = 0.0326). However, no differences were found in the laboratory test and viral assay. Serious adverse events were not detected. Conclusion. These preliminary findings indicate LH tablets may be effective in symptomatic COVID-19, especially in relieving coughing. Objective. This study aimed to systematically evaluate the effect of exercise on pulmonary function, exercise capacity, and quality of life in children with bronchial asthma. Methods. A comprehensive search was performed using PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, EBSCO, CNKI, and Wanfang Data Knowledge Service platform to identify any relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from inception to April 2021. The Cochrane risk of the bias tool was utilized to evaluate the methodological quality of the included studies, and RevMan 5.3 was applied to perform data analyses. Results. A total of 22 RCTs involving 1346 patients were included. The results of the meta-analysis showed that exercise had significant advantages in improving lung function and exercising capacity and quality of life in children with asthma compared with conventional treatment, such as the forced vital capacity to predicted value ratio (SMD = 0.27; 95% CI: 0.13, 0.40, and P < 0.0001), the peak expiratory flow to predicted value ratio (MD = 4.53; 95% CI: 1.27, 7.80, and P = 0.007), the 6-minute walk test (MD = 110.65; 95% CI: 31.95, 189.34, and P = 0.006), rating of perceived effort (MD = −2.28; 95% CI: −3.21, −1.36, and P < 0.0001), and peak power (MD = 0.94; 95% CI: 0.37, 1.52, and P = 0.001) on exercise capacity and pediatric asthma quality of life questionnaire (MD = 1.28; 95% CI: 0.60, 1.95, and P = 0.0002) on quality of life. However, no significant difference was observed in the forced expiratory flow between 25% and 75% of vital capacity P = 0.25 and the forced expiratory volume at 1 second to predicted value ratio P = 0.07 . Conclusions. Current evidence shows that exercise has a certain effect on improving pulmonary function recovery, exercise capacity, and quality of life in children with bronchial asthma. Background. Evidence for the efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture (EA) on gastrointestinal function recovery after gynecological surgery is unclear. Objective. This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effects of EA on recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function for patients receiving gynecological surgery. Data sources: PubMed, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CINAHL), Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Weipu (CQVIP), and Wanfang databases were systematically searched from the inception dates to May 30, 2020, for relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Study selection: RCTs that evaluated EA for postoperative gastrointestinal function directly related to gynecological surgery in adults aged 18 years or over. Data extraction and synthesis: paired reviewer independently extracted the data and assessed study quality. Standardized mean differences (SMD) were calculated as the effect measure from a random effects model. Main outcomes and measures: time to first flatus (TFF), time to bowel sounds recovery (TBS), and time to first defecation (TFD) were recorded as primary outcomes; postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), motilin (MTL), gastrin (GAS), pH value of gastric mucosa (pHi), gastric mucosal partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PgCO2), vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), and adverse event were reported as secondary outcomes. Results. We included eighteen RCTs (1117 participants). Our findings suggested that compared to the control group (CG), electroacupuncture group (EG) showed significant effects on TFF (SMD = −0.98, 95% CI: [−1.28, −0.68], P < 0.00001 , I2 = 69%), TBS (SMD = −0.98, 95% CI: [−1.84, −0.12], P = 0.03 , I2 = 92%), and TFD (SMD = −1.23, 95% CI: [−1.59, −0.88], P < 0.0001 , I2 = 0%). Moreover, the incidence of PONV at postoperative 6 h (OR = 0.42, 95% CI: [0.27, 0.64], P < 0.0001 , I2 = 0%) and 24 h (OR = 0.46, 95% CI: [0.32, 0.68], P < 0.0001 , I2 = 0%) was lower in the EG than that in the CG, whereas no significant difference in ratio of PONV at postoperative 48 h (OR = 0.55, 95% CI: [0.20, 1.51], P = 0.25 , I2 = 0%) was detected between the two groups. Meanwhile, there was a significant effect in favor of EA on the level of MTL at postoperative 6 h (SMD = −0.93, 95% CI: [−1.36, −0.61], P < 0.0001 , I2 = 21%), while no significant effect was observed at postoperative 24 h (SMD = −0.43, 95% CI: [−0.89, 0.02], P = 0.06 , I2 = 69%) in the EG when compared to the CG. Additionally, a large significant effect on decreasing PgCO2 was found in the EG in comparison to the CG, but no significant effect in favor of EA on GAS, VIP, or pHi was observed. It was reported that there was one participant with pain at the needling sites and bruising, and three participants withdrew because they were not intolerant to EA. Conclusions. EA could be a promising strategy for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction after gynecological surgery, including shortening TFF and TFD, TBS, regulating MTL, and decreasing the ratio of PONV within postoperative 24h. The effects on MTL and PONV varied with different intervention points, and EA used at 30 min prior to surgery might be recommended. Objective. To explore the relationship between (bone fusion associated protein) bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)2 and BMP9 and spinal function and quality of life in patients with severe scoliosis after posterior vertebral column resection (PVCR). Methods. 78 cases of severe scoliosis treated with PVCR surgery in our hospital from January 2015 to April 2018 were selected and set as the observation group, and 80 health examiners in the same period were selected and set as the control group. The ELISA method was used to detect the levels of BMP2 and BMP9 in the two groups. Also, the relationship between the recovery of spinal function, quality of life, and serum BMP2 and BMP9 in the observation group was analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of BMP2 and BMP9 for complications after PVCR. Results. One month after PVCR, the serum BMP2 and BMP9 levels of patients with severe scoliosis were higher than those of healthy people P < 0.05 . One year after PVCR, Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum levels of BMP2 and BMP9 in patients with scoliosis were positively correlated with ODI scores (r = 0.778, P < 0.001 ; r = 0.746, P < 0.001), SRS-22 scores (r = 0.758, P < 0.001 ; r = 0.722, P < 0.001), and Cobb angle correction rate (r = 0.838, P < 0.001 ; r = 0.802, P < 0.001). Conclusion. The levels of BMP2 and BMP9 of patients with scoliosis after PVCR are higher than those of healthy people. After 1-year follow-up, the patients' serum BMP2 and BMP9 levels were positively correlated with spinal function recovery, quality of life, and surgical efficacy. Among them, BMP2 and BMP9 had the highest correlation with PVCR surgical efficacy. Paying attention to the serum BMP2 and BMP9 levels of patients with scoliosis has certain clinical significance. Acupuncture has long been used to relieve some inner ear diseases such as deafness and tinnitus. The present study examined the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) in animals. A NIHL rat model was established. Electroacupuncture pretreatment at 2 Hz or posttreatment at the right Zhongzhu (TE3) acupoint was applied for 1 hour. Auditory thresholds were measured using auditory brainstem responses (ABRs), and histopathology of the cochlea was examined. The results indicated that the baseline auditory threshold of ABR was not significantly different between the control (no noise), EA-only (only EA without noise), noise (noise exposure only), pre-EA (pretreating EA then noise), and post-EA (noise exposure then posttreating with EA) groups. Significant auditory threshold shifts were found in the noise, pre-EA, and post-EA groups in the immediate period after noise exposure, whereas auditory recovery was better in the pre-EA and post-EA groups than that in the noise group at the three days, one week (W1), two weeks (W2), three weeks (W3), and four weeks(W4) after noise stimulation. Histopathological examination revealed greater loss of the density of spiral ganglion neurons in the noise group than in the control group at W1 and W2. Although significant loss of spiral ganglion loss happened in pre-EA and post-EA groups, such loss was less than the loss of the noise group, especially W1. These results indicate that either pretreatment or posttreatment with EA may facilitate auditory recovery after NIHL. The detailed mechanism through which EA alleviates NIHL requires further study. Objective. To investigate the clinical application of microsurgery using the cerebellar medulla fissure approach in severe ventricular hemorrhage with casting of the fourth ventricle and its effect on neurological recovery. Methods. A total of 80 patients with severe intraventricular hemorrhage accompanied by casting and dilation of the fourth ventricle who were admitted to the neurosurgery department between July 2019 and December 2020 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 40 patients in each group. The drainage tube extubation time and length of hospital stay of the two groups were compared. The 3-day hematoma clearance of the two groups was observed. Postoperative consciousness was evaluated by GCS, and the patients' recovery was evaluated by GOS at three months. The activities of daily living (ADL) scores of the two groups were compared to evaluate patients' postoperative self-care ability. The incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups was collected. Independent risk factors for poor prognosis were analyzed by logistics regression. Results. The postoperative hospitalization time and the drainage tube extubation time in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The ratio of hematoma clearance ≥90% in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Postoperative GCS scores and GOS scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The rate of postoperative complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group. The rate of good ADL grading in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group. Age and surgical method were independent risk factors for poor prognosis. Conclusion. Microsurgery using the cerebellar medulla fissure approach can effectively improve the condition of severe ventricular hemorrhage with casting of the fourth ventricle and promote the recovery of patients' neurological function. The Lisfranc joints are mainly used to connect the forefoot and midfoot and maintain the stability of the arch of the foot. It is an important part of the arch of the foot. If the Lisfranc joints injury is not treated in time, it will cause poor walking, pain in the back of the foot, and even deformity or disability of the forefoot. The common treatment method is to select the Kirschner wires, screws, or steel plates for incisional repositioning internal fixation surgery. In our study, we used different materials to perform fixation surgery on Lisfranc joint injury patients. We measured the joint recovery, pain condition, complications, and biomechanical indexes of different groups of patients after the operation. The results of the study showed that compared with Kirschner wire and screw internal fixation, the use of shaped arch bridge-type microsteel plate internal fixation for the treatment of metatarsotarsal joint injury patients has better foot function recovery, fewer complications, and more reliable biomechanical strength. Objective. To observe the effect of Shou Hui Tong Bian capsule (polygonum multiflorum and aloe-based herbal capsule for cathartic effect) in rapid rehabilitation of joint surgery. Methods. A total of 98 patients undergoing perioperative joint surgery in our hospital from July 2019 to March 2020 were included in the study. According to the situation of arthroscopy and joint replacement therapy, the patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy. On the basis of the control group, the patients in the observation group were orally administrated with Shou Hui Tong Bian capsule, 2 capsules/time, 3 times/day. Both groups received continuous treatment for 14 days. The clinical effects, awakening time, postoperative exhaust time, and the number of patients with different degrees of abdominal distension in the four groups before and after treatment were observed and compared. Results. After treatment, the total effective rate of arthroscopy in the control group was 66.7%, which was significantly lower than 83.3% in the observation group (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of joint replacement in the control group was 64.0%, which was significantly lower than 84.0% in the observation group (P < 0.05). After arthroscopic treatment and joint replacement treatment, the recovery time and postoperative exhaust time of borborygmus in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (both P < 0.05). After the treatment, the number of patients with different degrees of abdominal distension in the arthroscopic and joint replacement treatment group and the control group was significantly improved (P < 0.05), and the observation group was significantly better than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion. The curative effect of Shou Hui Tong Bian capsule on patients undergoing arthroscopic joint surgery and joint replacement during perioperative period is obviously superior to that of conventional treatment. It can effectively improve the total effective rate, shorten the first exhaust time, and increase the number of patients without abdominal distension after treatment.
