Abstract
This study explores the impact of renewable energy consumption on economic growth in developing economies of Sub-Saharan Africa. To demonstrate its findings in detail, the research study adopts a panel data estimation technique for 23 African countries for the period from 1986 to 2015. The results describe that renewable energy has been playing an important role as a production input. Therefore, Sub- Saharan Africa countries need to adopt intensive promotion policies for renewable energy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
