Abstract

The article features Professor Christoph Cremer and cites his contributions to the field of biophysics. Cremer studied Physics in Munich, Germany and obtained his first doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in biophysics and genetics at the University of Freiburg in 1976. His contributions to biophysics reportedly prompted several research activities all over the world. He has collaborated with colleagues from around the world, making him one of the major figures of far-field microscopy.
