The article reports on the ballistic testing application of Nammo AS. The company has been using LDS shaker systems since the late 1970s. The test center is located at Raufoss in Norway and specializes in vibration and environmental testing for defense, automotive and aerospace applications. It also adds that live ammunition tests are performed using pre-recorded data acquired during real transportation and operation simulations. The tests are said to be conducted in a blast-proof test chamber using the LDS Amplifier Remote Control Unit.
