The article offers the insights of doctor and head of medical informatics Karanvir Singh of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on the adoption and implementation of electronic health records (EHR) or electronic patient records (EPR) in the hospital. Singh offers an overview on how records of the patient in the hospital are being automated, as well as of those records in different departments of the hospital. He believes that improvement of data continuity of health records are important and advantageous.
