The relationship between environmental elements and design, which is clearly taken into account in traditional buildings, and its semantic and formal aesthetics are ignored in today's buildings. Many of the new structures are designed without considering environmental conditions. An example of this is the lack of aesthetics in the housing structures produced in the Rahva region of Bitlis with the rapid population growth. The aim of this study is to examine the environmental factors and the aesthetic approach on the facades of the houses in the Rahva region, which is a new settlement, and to determine the problem of whether these facades are aesthetically pleasing to the users. The aim of the study is to analyze the visual perception of the residential building facades on the user in the Rahva region, where the new settlement is formed in Bitlis, within the framework of the environmental factors of the structural formation and in the context of aesthetic criteria, and to evaluate the obtained data in terms of design criteria in line with the user's preferences. It is aimed to be used in the design and shaping of new buildings to be built by adhering to the natural environmental factors and aesthetic shaping parameters of Bitlis. Within the scope of the study, the necessary literature review was made. Information about housing structures from relevant institutions and organizations, on-site survey-analysis examinations, visual documentation and survey applications in the new texture were made. SPSS data analysis program was used to evaluate the survey data. The data obtained contributed to the design and evaluation of architectural products to be built in the future. Preschools are critical institutions where children take the first steps into their education life. These institutions generally provide education for children aged 3 to 6 years old. The Montessori method stands out as one of the most popular educational approaches worldwide. This method is based on the child's innate desire to learn and is supported by giving freedom to children. School buildings and surroundings should be designed to fit the needs of children and enable them to move freely. Montessori method has been implemented by private schools for approximately 10-15 years in Türkiye; however, efforts to integrate it with the traditional education approach have posed challenges in achieving the expected efficiency. Therefore, this study examines the compliance of the selected preschool education institution with Montessori principles. The study primarily includes the analysis of the Montessori method and its related principles through sample schools worldwide and in Türkiye. Later, the study focuses on Montessori education principles such as sensitive periods, absorbent mind, repetition of exercises, freedom, polarization of attention, mixed-age classrooms, rewards and punishments, teacher-child interaction, and the concept of the 'prepared environment'. As part of the study's material, analyzes of both indoor and outdoor spaces of Masal Nursery Day Care House in Diyarbakır were conducted based on the prepared environment criteria (clarity, functionality, flexibility, naturalness, freedom, and convenience). These analyses were supported by data obtained from observations, school plans, and photographs. The results measure the extent to which the school reflects Montessori educational principles. Some settlements create a unique texture with the nature, history and cultural characteristics. Battalgazi is a settlement based on the province of Malatya, which preserves its local characteristics. Therefore of heroes like Battalgazi lived and famous epics written on, the city is an example that still maintains modesty. Malatya has been home to different civilizations and cultures throughout history. These differences can be seen in the surrounding settlements very clearly. Battalgazi is the oldest settlement of Malatya, a gateway to the east and west, an important settlement center and an apricot's paradise. Battalgazi, one of the first settlements of Malatya, which is a historical and agricultural city, has been evaluated in the context of its traditional housing structure and its settlement characteristics and samples were taken on 10 houses in Toptaş and Karahan Neighborhoods. The conditions and characteristic features of the historical traditional houses of Battalgazi region were determined with the analyses and at the same time there flection of their life styles to the formation of these houses was investigated.
