Abstract
The article reports on the study on the battery cell measurement problem in Europe. It is said that battery stack's deceptively simple appearance masks a stubborn problem which has been around for a long time. Moreover, designers have tried various approaches to isolated-cell-voltage measurement. Further details on these approaches with graphs and figures are being presented on the paper.
The article reports on the growth of robotic-development platforms in Europe. It is said that the continued growth and evolution of these robotic-development platforms are essential components to enable scaling the complexity of today's and future projects to a manageable level. However, it is discussed that today's robots still need a lot of improvement in terms of software compatibility. The paper also discusses the hands-on project that focuses on the Lego NXT Mindstorms platform. INSET: MORE PLATFORMS.

Abstract
The article reports on the key trends for 2008 in Mobile Industry in Europe. It is said that imaging has become a much more significant part of the design of handsets, both from the image-sensor and the capture and processing standpoint. There is also a strong push to integrate global positioning system (GPS) satellite navigation into mobile devices. Moreover, several imaging and GPS products from different companies are also being discussed on the paper.
