Abstract

It is of great significance to evaluate the groundwater resources carrying capacity, for understanding the basic situation of regional groundwater resource availability and utilization, establishing a monitoring and warning mechanism for resources and environment carrying capacity, and supporting the research oriented to national spatial planning. In this paper, groundwater resources carrying capacity is proposed based on analysis of the quantity, quality and ecological feature of groundwater in Yangtze River Economic Belt, an evaluation methodology is established respectively from background and status of carrying capacity. Results show that integrated carrying capacity is medium in this region. The number of cities with strong, medium-strong, medium, medium-weak, and weak integrated carrying capacity are 27, 28, 51, 15, and 8 respectively. Cities with strong and medium-strong integrated carrying capacity are mainly located in Middle-Lower of Yangtze River, Huang-Huai-Hai Plain and Sichuan Basin. Cities with medium-weak and weak integrated carrying capacity are mainly located in coastal areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, Sichuan red layer area, north of Sichuan Plateau, and Jinsha River basin.

Abstract

Rational development and utilization of urban underground space has become an important measure to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of land resources, improve urban capacity and optimize urban layout. Underground space is an important part of the geological environment because of its natural resources. Unreasonable development will lead to geological environment problems. In this paper, combined with the actual situation of Dalian City, on the basis of comprehensive analysis of geological environment conditions, eight indicators are selected from the aspects of topography, engineering geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions, geological hazards, ecological factors and human activities to construct the hierarchy model of suitability evaluation for underground space development in Dalian City. The analytic hierarchy process and comprehensive index method are applied to the evaluation. The results show that: the suitable area, secondary suitable area, less suitable area and unsuitable area are 3812.58km2, 5430.91km2, 2711.38km2 and 1659.06km2, accounting for 28.00%, 39.89%, 19.92% and 12.19% respectively. The evaluation results can provide the basis for the future development and utilization planning of underground space in Dalian city.

3. Evaluation of water resources carrying capacity based on cultivated land and urban construction scale -- a case study of Jinzhou City

Abstract

Water resources play an important role in the natural environment, which is an irreplaceable resource for the survival and development of human society. Taking water resources as the research object, combined with the demand of social and economic development for water resources, this paper carried out the research on the evaluation method of cultivated land scale and urban construction scale under the constraints of water resources in Jinzhou. The results show that: the scale of cultivated land is 7215.98-7843.20km2, which is in surplus. Heishan County has the largest scale of cultivated land and Guta District has the smallest scale of cultivated land. The urban construction land scale is 229.89-279.02 km2, which is in surplus. Taihe District and Yixian County are overloaded, and the rest are surplus. The evaluation results can support the determination and decomposition of planning objectives and indicators, and provide an important scientific basis for the implementation of local land spatial planning.
