As we navigate complex global challenges related to sustainability and innovation, educating the younger generation about energy is crucial. Computer simulation learning has emerged as a pivotal tool in optimizing teaching methodologies, particularly when it comes to comprehending and mastering energy-related concepts. This innovative approach provides an immersive experience, allowing students to practically and interactively explore the intricate principles of energy. Focused on the industrial technology associated with energy, this study delves into the application of computer simulation to enhance the understanding of adolescents aged 13 to 16. A sample of students, spanning three classes, underwent electrical circuit manipulation tests utilizing simulation software. Analysis of the results, employing Pearson’s correlation coefficient, revealed a significant enhancement in the comprehension of energy concepts through simulation-based learning. By enabling students to visualize and experiment with various energy-related scenarios.

This article investigates the significant influence of smart radios on the energy efficiency of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). It explores the incorporation of intelligent radios as a crucial element to enhance WSNs’ sustainability, providing a novel approach to tackle energy-related challenges. Smart radios are essential for prolonging the lifespan of sensor devices and reducing the environmental effect of WSNs by autonomously adjusting communication protocols and optimizing energy consumption. This paper also highlights the differences between 5G and 6G technologies within the WSNs framework. While 5G brought improvements in data speed and connectivity, 6G represents a significant progress by prioritizing energy efficiency as a fundamental goal. This shift represents a fundamental change, with a primary focus on achieving extremely low energy consumption and ensuring the sustainable operation of WSNs. The paper examines crucial technological factors enabling 6G to outperform its predecessor, establishing it as a revolutionary force in the field of wireless communication for sensor networks. This research illuminates the crucial function performed by smart radios in connecting the desire for energy efficiency with the changing environment of wireless sensor networks.

Trachurus trachurus (Linnaeus, 1758) is a semipelagic fish common in the waters of the Moroccan Mediterranean and is of major economic importance because it occupies an important place in fish landings. The population of the eastern coast was monitored during the period from October 2017 to September 2018 using monthly sampling. This work focused on the study of the growth biology of this species. In total, 390 specimens were sampled. The total lengths of the individuals collected varied between 7.8 cm and 33.8 cm for a weight that varied from 3.78 g to 310.52 g. The study of the growth of this Carangidae and the estimation of its age are based on the reading of the otoliths. The increase in length follows the linear Von Bertalanffy model; thus, it is rapid for juveniles and decreases with age. Similar growth in length and differential growth in weight were demonstrated between the two sexes. This difference is apparent only from the fourth year onwards and remains in favour of females. The results obtained constitute a valuable contribution to a better understanding of Trachurus trachurus biology and to the implementation of stock assessments to ensure the sustainability of catches of this species.

AI-based solutions can effectively optimize energy usage and contribute to the overall efficiency of 6G networks. Furthermore, the incorporation of wireless communication systems, telecommunication, and the Internet of Things (IoT) will be integral to the infrastructure of 6G networks. The need for significant enhancements in 6G networks is also examined in this study. Ensuring the safety and protection of 6G networks from cyber threats becomes increasingly important due to the growing reliance on networked communication and the sensitive nature of transmitted information. Cutting-edge security methods such as homomorphic encryption and blockchain technology may be essential in this regard. Moreover, this research paper explores the impact of 6G networks on various domains and discusses the challenges that must be overcome to unlock the technology’s full potential. To ensure responsible adoption and usage of 6G networks, the development of new business models and regulatory frameworks may be necessary to support their implementation while addressing energy consumption concerns.

It has been acknowledged that Moroccan universities have ample opportunity to enhance regional competitiveness through the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet, little is known about how professors and students perceive universities’ role in stimulating innovation, partnership, and sustainability within their backyards or communities. By exploring how much Moroccan universities are thought to be participating in territorial competitiveness via the realization of the SDGs, this study aims to bridge that gap. It is through this work that we aim to emphasize the perceptions of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University’s (AE University) students, graduates, and professors regarding the role of a Moroccan university in fostering territorial innovation through the lenses of relevant Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, we strive to highlight links between the aforementioned university and plans for territorial competitiveness. This will help pinpoint areas for improvement in university practices and achievements in relation to territorial development. The plan is to carry out an exploratory study via an online survey. The collection of data will be conducted on the perceptions of AE University students and professors about the role(s) of their university in fostering innovation and achieving SGDs. It is upon the survey data that we will strive to analyze connections existing between universities and territorial competitiveness via SDGs in order to further emphasize the likely role of universities in broadening territorial innovation practices in Morocco. It is through this analysis that we will discuss the findings and main results of the study in the hope of enriching the existing literature on the matter while helping to assist concerned stakeholders in territorial development areas, including universities and SDGs.

Undoubtedly, a university is a source of knowledge that acts as an incubator for creativity and innovation; however, more light should be shed on how universities help create a vibrant economy by providing employment opportunities, promoting highquality research, and stimulating investment. In this work, we focus on displaying a new adaptable trinity formula that places the university, with all its missions, in the heart of an attractive territory. It is in this vein that we study the importance of well-choosing the remaining territorial components to be part of the trivium formula. The main aim of the current premise is to highlight the significance of adjusting territorial innovation models, such as business ecosystems of innovation and triple helix models of innovation, in accordance with the weight of keystone components of territory and how they participate in its attractiveness, all of which are orchestrated by universities. The importance of this topic lies in recognizing the potential of universities as accelerators for territorial advancement, including their role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, by acknowledging their many distinct contributions to fostering innovation and protecting the environment. Adopting the trivium formula means providing a blueprint that encourages fortifying links within a territory’s components, thus enhancing relations between universities and other pieces of the territorial development puzzle we built this work upon as a method to understand innovative territories, from green innovation to industrial intelligence.

One relatively unexplored application domain is medical and water waste. The production of medical/water waste is an integral part of healthcare operations. However, Health care and water waste management methods can also pose a health and environment risk if the various steps in the management process are not carried out correctly. The objective of this paper is to propose conception of a system, based on the Blockchain and IoT, that ensures the control of these wastes in order to effectively manage, coordinate and monitor their disposal. An initial design of this system and an evaluation of the system's performance are also presented.

Efficient crop disease management shows great promise in optimizing the agricultural industry. Accurate identification of infection levels is crucial for implementing effective and efficient disease treatments. However, accurately identifying and locating crop diseases in complex, unstructured field environments remain challenging. This necessitates the utilization of large volumes of annotated data. This research paper comprehensively evaluates deep transfer learning techniques for identifying the degree of rust disease infection in Vicia faba L. production systems. We curate a vast dataset comprising images captured under natural lighting conditions and at different growth stages of the crop under study. We propose a deep learning model based on Neural Architecture Search (NAS) specifically designed for early detection and accurate classification of disease levels in crops. We compare the performance of our proposed model with nine other deep learning models using transfer learning. Remarkably, transfer learning based on the NAS method achieves high classification accuracy, consistently exceeding 90.84% F1 scores. Moreover, all models exhibit short training times, requiring less than 3 hours. Among the evaluated models, our NAS-based model emerges as the top performer, highlighting the importance and effectiveness of this method in developing state-of-the-art models. It achieves a mean average precision of 94.10% and an impressive overall recall of 96.96%. These results significantly contribute to developing robust and accurate disease management strategies, paving the way for improved agricultural practices and increased crop yields. Our approach enables early disease detection and precise classification, leveraging deep transfer learning and facilitating timely interventions and optimized treatments. With the help of this study, we can now better utilize cuttingedge agricultural technology, paving the way for sustainable crop production in the future.
