The article insists that educators need to invest in undergraduate students by equipping them with tools to become tomorrow's social innovators ad social entrepreneurs. It discusses the challenges facing the African-American and Hispanic communities. The article also offers tips that universities can implement to help minority students to become social entrepreneurs, namely, to offer social entrepreneurship classes, to assess, challenge and support and provide access to professional networks.

The article presents a study conducted by the nonprofit organization Center for Women's Business which reveals that 28.2 percent of businesses enterprises are owned by women in the U.S. and among them 4.2 percent of revenues are generated by women. It informs that 1,057 university students were enrolled in the study. Research revealed that women have less entrepreneurial intentions and perceived themselves as less creative then men. Information on tips for overcoming this issue is presented.
