This study was conducted around the beaches in Indonesia in order to investigate the level of pollution in the marine environment. Thirteen (13) locations in six (6) regions namely: Seribu Island, Banten, South Java, Biawak Islands, West Papua, and East Nusa making up a total length of 12.84 km of the area were studied. This investigation focused on the debris around isolated beaches, tourist attraction centers, fishing zones and marine protected areas (MPA). The method employed in this study was dependent on the international coastal cleanup form. The samples of debris collected and studied varied from the year 2013 to 2018 for a thorough investigation. The beach debris monitoring equipment revealed information about the distribution, abundance, types and, effects of marine debris on the ecosystem. Moreover, the study showed that the mass of debris collected within the areas listed weighted 1113.10 kg for 34,330 collected items. Also, the average density was noted to range between 1.43 and 5.11 items/m2. However, it was observed that plastic products constituted the highest percentage of the pollutants found in almost all the stations, with plastic bags being the most dominant.

The article contains datasets built on a baseline study on the selected physicochemical parameters and Water Quality Index of Ubogo and Egini Rivers, Delta State, for a period of six months, spanning the time frame between February - July, 2010. Within this space, six stations were shared equally among the two rivers using the three communities they flow through as guide, and water samples were collected on monthly basis from these stations. The objectives include determination of the spatial variations and background concentrations of the selected physicochemical parameters. Sixteen physicochemical parameters were analyzed in the water. Current velocity, air and water temperature were determined in-situ; the rest physicochemical parameters were determined via adopting standard methods. Apart from turbidity, the values of the rest physical parameters – air and water temperature, TDS showed significant difference (p < 0.05) across the stations. The data described consists of radiation measurement outputs from several different detectors located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for the duration of 30 November 2014 through 13 December 2016. This data could be useful for anyone studying radiation count rate or spectroscopic changes over a multi year period from various radiation sources and measurement systems. The outputs of the measurement systems include 1) counts per 20 min from a Geiger–Muller detector measuring 90Sr, 2) counts per 20 min from a Geiger–Muller detector measuring 204Tl, 3) radiation spectra per 30 min from a NaI detector measuring 60Co, 4) radiation spectra per 30 min from a NaI detector measuring 54Mn, 5) radiation spectra per 30 min from a liquid scintillation detector measuring 226Ra, 6) counts per 30 min from a liquid scintillation detector measuring 14C, and room pressure, temperature, and humidity data every 10 min.
