Abstract

An interview with Abe Lee, Professor in the Department of biomedical engineering and mechanical at the University of California, Irvine in California is presented. When asked about the definition of terms microfluidics and lab-on-a-chip, he refers to the paper "The origins and the future of microfluidics," by George Whitesides. He comments on the future prospects of microfluidics and discusses the need of killer application of microfluidics.
