Mental health is an essential component of human development. It deals with human ideas and emotions, and it helps to lead a good life by paving the way for healthy minds. The absence of a healthy mind is a substantial hindrance to personal, societal, and national economic, political, and social functioning. For a long time in India, mental illness has been shrouded in stigma, ignorance, and superstition. The National Mental Health Program (NMHP) has undergone major strategic revisions throughout its existence, from instituting a district as the entity for program planning and implementation under the District Mental Health Program (DMHP) to integrating it with the National Rural Health Mission to productively scale up the program. Many researchers reviewed the program, which was also evaluated by governing and non-governmental institutions. Financial and human capital restrictions, a lack of public involvement, inefficient training, poor non-governmental organization/private cooperation, and a deficit of solid monitoring and evaluation system have all hampered the program's impact. A thorough study of the literature on India's unique mental health initiatives was conducted using particular Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) terms, including "community mental health program," "mental health project," "innovative in mental health programs," and "India," and Boolean operators "AND/OR." The MeSH keywords used were as follows: mental health project OR ("mental health project" [Mesh] OR "innovative in mental health programs" [Mesh]) AND community mental health program AND ("community mental health program" [Mesh]), India OR ("India" [Mesh]). A preliminary search was conducted in Google Scholar and the PubMed database. A total of 55 indexed papers were found, of which 24 articles were duplicates, hence they were removed and the research eventually contained 31 investigations. Over time, it has become clear that a strong focus on community mental health is critical, and that the DMHP and NMHP, in terms of coverage and utilization of their service components, need to be strengthened. As with many other public health programs, public awareness and information, education, and communication programs must be the most important components for change to occur at the community level. Many tactics and innovations also help to democratize mental health care by allowing the integration of mental health programs into primary care, which is more equitable in the long run and leads to "good mental health for everyone."

Instrument separation is one of the most routinely encountered mishaps occurring in the arena of endodontics. Separation occurs unknowingly most times and we are left to ponder as to where to head next. It is majorly the lack of knowledge and skill that makes us panic in these times. The objective still remains to effectively clean as well as shape the root canal so that it can best receive the obturating material. Thus sudden breakage of a file during this critical phase leaves the clinician in an absolute dilemma. This review thereby throws light onto the various factors that remain in the hand of the clinician before proceeding for biomechanical preparation of the root canal so as to prevent instrument fracture. The correct application and knowledge of these techniques will prevent procedural mishaps from occurring and further enhance the quality of the treatment.

There are high chances of post-hysterectomy vault prolapse (PHVP) if the vault is not well supported after vaginal hysterectomy in cases of pelvic organ prolapse (POP). High uterosacral ligament suspension (HUSLS) and McCall's culdoplasty are the well-recommended modalities to suspend the vault after vaginal hysterectomy. As both the procedures are accessible to non-urologic gynaecologists, the study was planned in cases of POP. Objective: The study was conducted to compare the anatomic and functional outcomes of patients undergoing vaginal HUSLS vs. McCall's culdoplasty at the time of vaginal hysterectomy.This prospective interventional study was done in a tertiary care hospital. A total of 80 patients were included and divided into two groups of 40 patients each. In one group, patients underwent high uterosacral ligament suspension and in the second group, McCall's culdoplasty was done for vault suspension. All procedures were done by two trained surgeons. The effectiveness of both the procedures was assessed by preoperative and postoperative pelvic organ prolapse quantification (POP-Q) (up to two years). Patients were followed for two years to see for any postoperative problem/recurrence.Vault suspension by HUSLS showed better results than McCall's culdoplasty, in terms of POP-Q point C, perineal body (PB), genital hiatus (GH) and total vaginal length (TVL) as compared to McCall's culdoplasty. The anatomical correction is much better with HUSLS, which suspends the vault in the normal vaginal axis. However, it takes longer compared to McCall's culdoplasty, so the procedure should be individualised and performed with several precautions.

The gastrointestinal (GI) tract is known to have high expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptors in the human body, making it prone to direct damage from the cellular invasion of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Numerous GI symptoms have been reported among patients with COVID-19. This systemic review details the mechanism and effects of COVID-19 on the GI tract along with the hepatobiliary and pancreatic systems.
