Abstract

The article examines the cleaning activity of juveniles of Bodianus anthioides on crinoids in the Red Sea. It is stated that the said species is a common Indo-Pacific reef fish. The said fish can also serve as facultative fish cleaners. They can integrate their diet by targeting crinoids, which may host several other invertebrates, especially copepods.
