The article presents a study which examines the pattern of variation in morphological traits related to flight of migratory and sedentary yellow-rumped warbler populations. The study proposed a graphic model to determine the role of antagonistic selective pressure and body size difference on migratory flight against maneuverability. Results determine that morphological differentiation between migratory and sedentary species is caused by divergent natural selection.
