The article reports on the problem for a possible interference of municipal wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) network at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. According to information technology (IT) director for the Boston Red Sox baseball team Steven Conley, a possible intervention with fabled Fenway Park may occur in the park's own Wi-Fi hot spot. He regards that the plan of the city to develop its Wi-Fi network at the park may interfere Red Sox Wi-Fi network installed in Fenway's main press box, its own workers, wireless ticket-scanning and in-seat ordering of food and drinks in some section of the ballpark. He also discloses situations that had wiped out its Wi-Fi coverage in the press box and its Wi-Fi based television (TV) remote controls used by team owners.
