In this article, we present an excerpt from our Professional Master's research defended in September 2022. It was guided by the following question: How to sensitize educators, in training moments, so that they advance in listening to babies? The general objective was to verify how teachers' awareness of listening to babies in a day care center occurs in the context of the pandemic. The universe of the research was a Municipal School of Basic Education located in the municipality of São Bernardo do Campo/SP, which caters exclusively to the nursery stage. The methodology used was of a qualitative nature and as instruments for data production we resorted to the life narratives of two teachers and the assistant in education of a Nursery class, as well as three proposals agreed together to raise awareness in listening to babies, in addition to the analysis of teaching records through logbooks, life books and individual reports, with regard to listening in the different phases of school attendance during the pandemic period. All material produced was analyzed in the light of Laurence Bardin's content analysis. The theoretical framework was based on authors of Critical Pedagogy. The results indicate that, for the teachers to effectively listen to the babies, they need awareness and ongoing training in service, in order to base their positions in defense of the principles present in participatory pedagogies, with theoretical knowledge about the importance of listening, as well as reflective partnerships who also relate to babies inside and outside the institution. O objeto da presente pesquisa é a sensibilização de professores no que se refere à escuta de bebês no período da pandemia da Covid-19. Orienta-se pela seguinte pergunta: Como sensibilizar as educadoras, em momentos de formação, para que elas avancem na escuta dos bebês? O objetivo geral é verificar como ocorre a sensibilização, por parte das professoras, para a escuta de bebês numa creche no contexto da pandemia. Como objetivos específicos buscamos sensibilizar as educadoras, em momentos de formação, para que elas avancem na habilidade de escuta dos bebês e como elas materializam tal conceito no cotidiano da instituição. Partimos da hipótese que tal escuta ainda não ocorre de forma a propiciar o protagonismo infantil, pois as educadoras, por muitas vezes, possuem discursos prontos na defesa da escuta, mas não conseguem efetivamente realizá-la de forma transformadora. O universo da pesquisa é uma Escola Municipal de Educação Básica localizada no município de São Bernardo do Campo, que atende exclusivamente a etapa creche, e as participantes são duas professoras e uma auxiliar em educação da turma Berçário (bebês de 1 ano). A metodologia utilizada é de natureza qualitativa e o instrumento de coleta de dados para a sensibilização são três propostas acordadas em conjunto. Todo material coletado foi analisado com base na análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin. O referencial teórico pautou-se em autores da Pedagogia Crítica.

Este artigo apresenta dados da pesquisa intitulada "Sentidos e significados sobre a formação do(a) professor(a) das creches conveniadas do município de Juiz de Fora/MG", que foi desenvolvida pelo Grupo de Pesquisa Linguagens, Infâncias, Cultura e Desenvolvimento Humano - GP LICEDH - da Faculdade de Educação - FACED- da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora/MG - UFJF. A referida investigação teve por objetivo construir o perfil das professoras que atuam em 26 creches conveniadas do município, buscando compreender quais são os saberes/fazeres docentes necessários para atuação com bebês e crianças na faixa etária de 0 a 3 anos de idade. A primeira etapa da pesquisa, que será aqui discutida, utilizou uma abordagem quantitativa, que permitiu construir um questionário de escala de resposta psicométrica tipo Likert, que foi respondido por 248 professoras. Em uma segunda etapa, utilizou-se uma abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, possibilitando compreender os sentidos e significados que foram construídos entre as participantes. Os dados produzidos na pesquisa demonstram uma falta de identidade das profissionais que trabalham nas creches com a docência na Educação Infantil. A ausência de investimento dos gestores municipais na garantia de uma carreira específica, com salários dignos e com tempo destinado à formação para essas profissionais, também foram questões impactantes reveladas pela investigação. O estudo aponta para a necessidade de uma articulação orgânica entre as políticas de Educação em nosso país, sendo fundamental que o poder público municipal assuma, de fato, as creches como primeira etapa da Educação Básica.

Este trabalho é fruto de um recorte de uma pesquisa de doutorado em andamento, e tem por objetivo identificar as estratégias de promoção da adaptação infantil à creche utilizadas pelos profissionais da Educação Infantil. A pesquisa enquadra-se na modalidade tipo estudo de caso, numa abordagem qualitativa, envolvendo discussões sobre a inserção das crianças a creche, e o estabelecimento da parceria entre as famílias e as instituições de Educação Infantil para o sucesso da adaptação das crianças pequenas e para a qualidade da Educação Infantil. O campo de investigação foi uma instituição, pública de Presidente Prudente, que atende 182 crianças de 4,5 meses a 3 anos. Os procedimentos de coleta de dados foram entrevistas semi-estruturadas dirigidas às 11 educadoras e 7 professoras. Os resultados elucidam que os profissionais apontam como imprescindível para o sucesso da adaptação infantil a creche a formação de um vínculo afetivo entre educadoras, professoras e a criança.

This essay aims to look at the problem of the continuous training of day care professionals. To endorse the discussion, data from the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) database were used on the subject from 1997 to 2017, that is, in the last 20 years after the publication of the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education. We verified that the researches developed in Brazil deal with the public policy themes of continuing education; practices and knowledge of professionals; performance of the pedagogical coordinator in continuing education; and continuing education programs. The studies highlight the importance of improving continuing education practices among teachers and professionals in the day care center, allowing theory and practice to be identified in the constitution of a body of knowledge that benefits the children of this age group. Although we can see some progress in understanding this stage of basic education, we verified the need to value the training of professionals for more based practices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article presents data from the research entitled "Sense and meanings on public daycare teacher training in the city of Juiz de Fora / MG", which was developed by the Research Group on Languages, Childhood, Culture and Human Development (GP LICEDH) from the Faculty of Education (FACED) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora / MG - UFJF. The referred investigation aimed at building the profile of the teachers who work in 26 municipal daycare centers, seeking to understand what are the necessary teaching knowledge and tasks to work with babies and children in the 0-3 age group. The first stage of the research, which we will discuss here, used a quantitative approach, that allowed the construction of a Likert-type psychometric response scale questionnaire, which was answered by 248 teachers. In a second stage, a qualitative research approach was used, making it possible to understand the sense and meanings forged among the participants. The data produced in the research demonstrate a lack of identification of the professionals who work in daycare centers with teaching in Early Childhood Education. The lack of investment from the city management in views of guaranteeing a specific career, with decent wages and with time destined for the development of these professionals, were also impactful issues revealed by the investigation. The study points to the need of an organic articulation between the Education policies in our country, and it is paramount for the municipal public power to, indeed, acknowledge daycare as the first stage of Basic Education. This work is the result of a cut of a doctoral research in progress, and aims to identify strategies to promote children's adaptation to day care used by professionals of early childhood education. The research is part of the mode type case study, a qualitative approach, involving discussions on the inclusion of children to day care, and the establishment of partnership between families and Early Childhood Education institutions for the successful adaptation of small children and the quality of early childhood education. The research field is an institution, public PresidentePrudente, which serves 182 children from 4.5 months to 3 years. The data collection procedures were semi-structured interviews addressed to 11 educators and 7 teachers. Results clarify that professionals point as essential to the success of children's adaptation to day care the formation of an emotional bond between educators, teachers and children.
