The article reports that the Iowa State University (ISU) Library has launched a new Learning Connections Center (LCC). The Center focuses on integrated research and technology on onsite reference services and high-end multimedia support in a space which was earlier occupied by a traditional reference desk and collection system. Through the services and multimedia equipment, students can work individually and collaboratively on papers and multimedia projects within the library. The Roy Carver Charitable Trust funded the Center with a grant of $260,000. Donations from parents of freshmen students also helped contribute to the funds.
