The article presents an abstract of the paper "The Value Added of Neurocognitive Testing After Sports-Related Concussion," by D. A. Van Kampen, M. R. Lovell, J. E. Pardini, M. W. Collins and F. H. Fu. A commentary for this paper was also provided. Here, the author states that the researchers presented a valid conclusion when they determine that the sensitivity of detecting post concussion abnormalities increases when using neurocognitive testing, compared to just using symptoms checklist. However, he added that some areas of this study still needs further exploration.
