Achilles tendon rupture is a well‐documented adverse effect of Fluoroquinolones; however, herein we present a case of complete iliopsoas and Achilles, and partial semimembranosus tendon rupture secondary to Levofloxacin.

Key Clinical Message Iliopsoas abscesses have been reported in adult diabetic patients, but only one case has been so far reported in the pediatric diabetic literature. We report three cases of iliopsoas abscesses in three adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus, suggesting that an increased awareness of this condition is required for its early recognition and prompt treatment.

Key Clinical Message Warfarin is a commonly prescribed anticoagulant with a narrow therapeutic window and high potential for serious complications. Spontaneous psoas hematoma is a rare complication of warfarin which can result in significant neurological deficits.
