Only southbound passengers at the Bleecker Street Station of the New York subway can transfer directly to the adjoining Broadway-Lafayette Street Station. This problem will be corrected through a plan to extend the station's northbound platform by around 300 ft to the south and connect it to an expanded mezzanine of the Broadway-Lafayette Street station.

The Dresden Hauptbahnhof, the city of Dresden's main railway station, was damaged during World War II bombing raids and has since had inadequate maintenance and repairs. The station was restored by a team of German and British architects to its Wilhelmine-style grandeur. With planning that started in 1997, it was completed in November 2006, in time for the 800th anniversary of the founding of Dresden.

The renovation and restoration of the historic Gettysburg rairlroad station is described. The changes made to the station's design since its inauguration in 1859 are discussed.
