The article reports that the Beijing TV producer of the report "Paper-Stuffed Dumplings" has been detained after the Beijing Food Security Office claimed that they found no paper-stuff dumplings. The issue originated in July 2007 when Beijing TV life channel (BTV-7) reported about "Paper-Stuffing Dumplings" in its special program "Transparency." This was followed by another program which was rebroadcasted on many TV stations and was in newspapers across China. The news along with the information on price hike on pork attracted attention abroad.
