Incorporating zero-energy-input cooling-power generation technology into personal thermal management (PTM) systems is a promising solution for thermal energy utilization but remains a huge challenge due to lacking of effective assembly technology. In this work, a sustainable, cost-effective, superdurable, and nanostructured cellulosic metafabric (CWF) is reported that exhibits well radiative cooling function to achieve high-performance power generation. Through tailoring the viscoelasticity and optical performance in the electrospinning process, this metafabric demonstrates a unique micro/nano structure and anchored MOF assembly, 95.7 % solar reflectivity, 0.94 infrared emissivity, high mechanical strength, washability, surface hydrophobicity, and UV resistance can be achieved. This metafabric exhibited high cooling efficiency of 5.7 °C during direct sunlight in summer and anti-washing and UV stability. Furtherly, we coupled the CWF (as the cold sink) with a commercial thermoelectric device to assemble a power generation device. The device can output average voltage of 200 mV with an average temperature gradient of ≈20.1 °C under stimulated sunlight and shows superdurable power generation performance even after washing or folding (7000 cycles) use. An outdoor test demonstrated it can deliver a high output voltage of 519 mV in Nanjing, China. Aluminum-air batteries (AABs) have received increasing interest for next-generation energy conversion systems. However, the development of AABs is hindered by the sluggish kinetics of cathodic oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Iron phthalocyanine (FePc) is one of the active electrocatalysts for ORR but still far from Pt-based materials in terms of electrocatalytic performance. Herein, FePc molecules anchored on the Co single atoms/ N -doped porous carbon nanofibers (denoted as FePc@Co-SAs/PCNF) with enhanced electronic interaction are prepared for the ORR. X-ray absorption spectra (XAS) analysis confirms the atomically dispersed Fe and Co sites and reveals the electronic interaction between FePc and Co-N 3. The cobalt single atoms can break the electronic distribution symmetry of FePc and induce electronic localization to boost the ORR performance. As a result, the FePc@Co-SAs/PCNF electrocatalyst demonstrates a remarkable ORR activity in both alkaline and neutral electrolytes. The electrocatalytic ORR processes on the FePc@Co-SAs/PCNF are recorded by in-situ Raman spectra. Moreover, the ORR mechanism is discussed, which is supported by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Furthermore, the AABs based on FePc@Co-SAs/PCNF exhibit remarkable discharge performance. Aqueous K/Zn dual-ion battery combines swift diffusion of potassium with the advantageous properties of zinc, resulting in increased operational voltage and energy density. However, the limited electrochemical window of the aqueous electrolyte makes it susceptible to unwanted side reactions and dendrite formation. To tackle this challenge, we employed a synergy of H-bonding and polymerization to craft a double-network semi-solid electrolyte. This innovative architecture markedly bolstered structural integrity, while incorporation of polar groups within matrix and network enhanced electrolyte absorption and ion conductivity. Furthermore, –COO− groups interacted with Zn2+, affording stabilization for zinc deposition. The Zn//Zn cell exhibited an impressive cycling life of 800 h at 0.5 mA cm−2 and low water content within electrolyte effectively mitigated side reactions, thereby broadening voltage window. Additionally, a ZnHCF//Zn cell demonstrated a substantial discharge plateau of 1.8 V, an outstanding reversible capacity of 62.2 mAh g−1, remarkable capacity retention at 90.6 % after 800 cycles. Moreover, it boasted a remarkable energy density of 107.7 Wh kg−1 and a high-power density of 5.1 kW kg−1. This pioneering double-network semi-solid electrolyte not only provides a breakthrough method to circumvent dendrite formation but also establishes a robust foundation for advancing high- performance K/Zn dual-ion batteries. Wearable piezoresistive sensors have great potential in motion monitoring, health detection, and virtual reality. However, such sensors have difficulty maintaining long-term and stable sensing performance in complicated conditions such as wetting, corrosion and without external power supply. Herein, we integrated a stable wearable piezoresistance sensor (SWPS) with sandwich-like laminated structure, which consists of a flexible superhydrophobic conductive material, a rigid superhydrophobic material, conductive coil and magnetic composite materials which is used to provide magnetic field. SWPS achieves simultaneously effective pressure sensing and self-power supply. Importantly, such sensor maintains outstanding superhydrophobicity even when exposed to mechanical or chemical damage, such as cyclic compression, impact and wetting erosion, ensuring the reliable and long-lasting sensing performance. Passive daytime radiative cooling technology, which reflects sunlight and emits thermal radiation simultaneously, shows great potential in releasing global warming and energy consumption. Particularly, cellulosic cooling materials, with the advantages of high infrared emissivity, eco-friendly, and easy processing, have gained great attention. However, the poor solar reflectance and the poor durability related to UV and mechanical properties still limited its broad applications. In this work, we developed a novel cellulose composite film (CCF) with a well-defined, hierarchical micro/nanostructure via a rational solvent-induced phase separation technology for efficient and longtime daytime radiative cooling. TiO 2 @PT synthesized via facile ball milling process was used to serve as a dual functional modifier, which can improve the optical, mechanical properties, and anti-UV function of the cellulose-based daytime radiative cooler. Benefiting from the hierarchical dual pores, formed tough interface, and assembled anti-UV functional network, the as-prepared CCF displayed ultrahigh solar reflectance of 97.6 % and enhanced Young's modulus and tensile strength increase by 13 and 4.4 times, respectively. Most importantly, the solar reflectance of CCF is maintained constant after continuous UV tests for 720 h. The work provides a general strategy to simultaneously enhance both the mechanical stability and the UV durability of polymer-based PDRC materials toward large-scale applications. [Display omitted] • Single crystal CsPbBr 3 was synthesized with a solution based anti-solvent method. • Water degradation behaviors of CsPbBr 3 single crystal are investigated. • Preferential release of Cs element resulted in the alteration layer PbBr(OH) Halide perovskite CsPbBr 3 single crystals have shown promising applications in high-energy radiation detection because of their high gamma-ray blocking capability, strong hole carrier transport capability, and manufacturing feasibility. However, the soft ionic properties of perovskite octahedral lattice facilitate the phase transformation of CsPbBr 3 under a hydrothermal environment, which significantly limits their application. The current work systematically studied the phase stability of the CsPbBr 3 single crystals under high temperatures and high humidity to accelerate their potential application in high-energy radiation detection. Thermal and water degradation behaviors of the CsPbBr 3 single crystals under elevated temperature were investigated for the first time via in situ Raman spectroscopy and semi-dynamic leaching testing methods. Results indicated that the CsPbBr 3 single crystals exhibited good thermal stability below 460 °C without obvious phase degradation and rapidly transformed to CsPb 2 Br 5 , followed by PbBr(OH) with the continuous water interaction. The water interaction and phase degradation mechanism of single crystals with the preferential release of Cs, surface reorganization, and formation of PbBr(OH) alteration layer with rod-like structure was revealed. The phase degradation of CsPbBr 3 single crystals along surface defects from the growth process was further confirmed, which can be used to guide subsequent work on single-crystal stability regulation. [Display omitted] • The Zn@Co 3 C functional layer is constructed in this work for the first time. • Co 3 C acts as a powerful oxygen evolution co-catalyst on BiVO 4 photoanodes. • Zn provides strong driving force for the migration of photogenerated holes. Currently, the sluggish charge transfer kinetics and water oxidation kinetics are still the bottlenecks faced by BiVO 4 photoanodes at present. Herein, an excellent Zn@Co 3 C functional layer is reported for the first time to tackle these problems of BiVO 4 photoanode. Zn@Co 3 C was prepared using a facile electrochemical method with 1,2-dimethylimidazole as a carbon source. In the BiVO 4 /Zn@Co 3 C photoanode, Co 3 C acts as a novel oxygen evolution co-catalyst to significantly enhance water oxidation kinetics. An electron depletion layer formed around Zn species provides a strong driving force for the migration of photogenerated holes from BiVO 4 to Co 3 C catalytic sites. Furthermore, the alternating distribution of Co 3 C and Zn species on the surface of BiVO 4 photoanodes increases the utilization efficiency of Co 3 C co-catalyst. The BiVO 4 /Zn@Co 3 C system constructed in this work not only demonstrates good photoelectrochemical performance in electrolytes (4.6 mA cm−2 at 1.23 V vs. RHE without any hole scavengers), but also enables water splitting in natural seawater. This work demonstrates a novel functional layer that simultaneously facilitates photogenerated carrier transfer and water oxidation kinetics, which holds great promise for constructing high-performance water oxidation systems in various photoanodes.
