Abstract

We report a label-free and "signal-on" homogeneous photoelectrochemical cytosensing system for ultrasensitive detection of cancer cells, which is a truly homogeneous PEC cytosensing system without the photoactive material immobilization and target recognition probe modification, providing a new avenue in early and accurate cancer diagnosis and clinical analysis.

We developed a competitive coordination-based immobilization-free electrochemical biosensor for highly sensitive and selective detection of arsenic(v) using a CeO2-DNA nanoprobe, which effectively circumvented complicated modification procedures and successfully achieved arsenic(v) determination in natural water samples.

A chiral NHC-catalyzed cycloaddition of γ-fluoroenals is developed. The nucleophilic γ-carbon generated via C–F bond cleavage undergoes highly enantioselective cycloaddition (up to >99% ee) to isatins and provides 3′-spirocyclic oxindoles in good yields (up to 91%).

A new strategy for determining the RNA endonuclease activity of mammalian argonaute2 (Ago2) protein has been developed, which combines the unique cleavage function of Ago2 protein with an RNA molecular beacon (RMB). Through the fluorescence restoration of the RMB, simple and sensitive detection of Ago2 is achieved.

A novel element-tagged activity-based photo-cleavable biotinylated chemical ''Hub'' was designed and synthesized to orthogonally integrate ICP-MS and ESI-MS for absolute targeted-protein quantification.
