The article presents a speech by Reverend Juan Ignacio Arrieta on the dynamism of the canonical juridical system. He highlighted its universal applicability within the ecclesial society along with opposition of the legal system of the Catholic Church to any form of juridical positivism. He discussed the foundation and guide of the juridical order together with the integration of the canonical norm throughout history. He explained the interrelation between substantial elements and formal norm.
