INTERNATIONAL trade, EXPORTS, INTERNATIONAL economic relations
Abstract
The article presents an update of Canada's trade with China. From 2002-2006, Canada's exports nearly doubled to $8 billion, and in the first seven months of 2007, they rose 43% over the same period in 2006. This 2007 gain was the biggest posted by any Group of Seven (G7) country and put China neck and neck with Japan as Canada's third largest export market.
