Abstract

The article discusses a court case Silicon Valley Taxpayers Association Inc. v. Santa Clara County Open Space Authority, wherein the plaintiff filed the suit to invalidate the assessment basis in California. The plaintiff sued the OSA under the Proposition 218's procedural and substantive requirements. However, the trial court favored the OSA that was affirmed by the Court of Appeals.
