Abstract

The article focuses on a study conducted by the author on unexpectedly detected t(9;22)(q34;q11)/BCR-ABL1-positive clones which have propensity to develop chronic phase of chronic myeloid leukaemia. Topics discussed include transition from subclinical to definite CML after radiotherapy treatment for primary intraocular lymphoma (PIOL), irrelevancy of BCR-ABL1 mRNA without cytogenetic abnormalities and propensity after radiotherapy to develop definite CML.
