Abstract

The article discusses the binding of the book "Dissertation sur les Attributs de Vénus," by the abbé de La Chau, which is dated 1776. The book's physical appearance is described and of particular importance is the fact that the book was made by Lefebvre, about whom little is known, except that he was the nephew of Jean-Claude Bozerian, who trained him. The book was owned by collectors René Charles Guilbert de Pixerécourt and François Xavier Joseph Borluut de Noortdonck.
