Abstract

The article discusses the biological activity of plant polyhenols that speculates their chemical reaction for cell membranes and cellular incorporation. It demonstrates that the interaction between polyphenols and phosphatidylcholines are explored through the high performance liquid chromatography (HLPC) with an immobilized artificial membrane (IAM) column. IAM column is helpful in the purification of cell membrane and in the exploration of pharmacokinetic contact among drugs and membranes.
