Abstract

• Lower rates of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) are seen in haplo-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation using anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) and post-transplant cyclophosphamide for graft-versus-host disease. • Severe CRS was not documented, but that needs to be assessed in a larger study. • ATG may reduce alloreactive T cells, resulting in a lower incidence of CRS.
