China is prioritizing the development of the digital economy and aims to build digital industry clusters with international competitiveness. The country plans to expand its digital economy, with the added value of core industries accounting for 10% of GDP by 2025. These clusters will focus on accelerating innovation in areas such as information technology, artificial intelligence, and blockchain. Currently, digital industry clusters are mainly located in the United States, China, and Europe. China's clusters are concentrated in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Building these clusters will help China seize opportunities in the global digital economy, promote economic restructuring, and narrow regional development gaps. However, challenges such as trade barriers and insufficient investment in innovation need to be addressed to improve China's global competitiveness in the digital industry.
