In this paper, we investigate the problem of the exponential stability of a stationary solution for a hyperbolic system with nonlocal characteristic velocities and measurement error. The formulation of the initial boundary value problem of boundary control for the specified hyperbolic system is given. A difference scheme is constructed for the numerical solution of the considered initial boundary value problem. The definition of the exponential stability of the numerical solution in ℓ 2 -norm with respect to a discrete perturbation of the equilibrium state of the initial boundary value difference problem is given. A discrete Lyapunov function for a numerical solution is constructed, and a theorem on the exponential stability of a stationary solution of the initial boundary value difference problem in ℓ 2 -norm with respect to a discrete perturbation is proved. This paper presents integral charaterizations for nonuniform dichotomy with growth rates and their correspondents for the particular cases of nonuniform exponential dichotomy and nonuniform polynomial dichotomy of skew-evolution cocycles in Banach spaces. In this article, we construct a C 1 stable invariant manifold for the delay differential equation x ′ = A x (t) + L x t + f (t , x t) assuming the ρ -nonuniform exponential dichotomy for the corresponding solution operator. We also assume that the C 1 perturbation, f (t , x t) , and its derivative are sufficiently small and satisfy smoothness conditions. As a nontrivial application of the abstract theorem developed in our recent paper titled "Limit-periodic solutions of difference and differential systems without global Lipschitzianity restricitions", the existence of limit-periodic solutions of the difference equation from the title is proved, both in the scalar as well as vector cases.
