Abstract

The article reports on the analysis of planetary records from Goal-Year Texts, almanacs and normal star almanacs in Babylonian astronomy. The analysis shows that the dates of Greek-letter phenomena records in almanacs and normal star almanacs are agreeing with each other which means that same methods were used in their creation. It also demonstrates that the Goal-Year Texts could have been used in making the almanacs and star almanacs based on high level of agreement between planetary records.
