In order to study the factors influencing urban rail transit travel behavior, a questionnaire was conducted for residents’ selection of rail transit in Xi'an. Based on the collected data from 1105 valid questionnaires, a binary logistic regression model was established to analyze the influencing factors quantitatively. The results showed that seven factors have statistically significant for rail transit travel behavior including age, occupation, family income, average monthly household transportation costs (T-cost), travel purpose, travel distance, and travel time. Odds ratio analysis revealed that young people and staff were more likely to choose rail transit; the probability of selecting rail transit increased with the increase of family income and the T-cost. In addition, more and more people tend to rail travel with the increase of travel distance and travel time.

By using printability tester for printing on ordinary white cardboard and light beam hologram paper, measuring spectral information and chrominance information of the two samples, and then perform spectral fitting by analyses their color characteristics, The aim of this research was to propose one method for color calculation of printing on light beam hologram papers, according to the color information of ordinary white cardboard.

In order to study the LED light source illumination and the correlated color temperature effect on the human eye visual performance and physiological changes, through the comparative experiments of visual task performances under the different color temperature (3000K low color temperature, 4000K intermediate color temperature) and the different illumination (1145lux high intensity, 500lux middle intensity, 288lux low illumination), study the relationship between the biological effect and visual performance from two aspects of the visual perception performance and the physical efficiency such as blood pressure and pulse. Research indicates that color temperature 3000K or 4000K, intensity of illumination in about 500lux LED light source is suitable to visual task.

In order to make a reasonable evaluation of highway traffic safety facilities, a comprehensive evaluation method based on set pair analysis was proposed. An evaluation system of freeway traffic safety facilities was established. Combined with relevant norms and standards, each indicator in the evaluation system was divided and a reasonable threshold has been set. Through the calculation of the connection degree of ‘identicalness, differentness and reverse’, the maximum connection degree criterion was used to judge the evaluation results of freeway traffic safety facilities. Finally a case study was conducted to verify the proposed evaluation method. The case study shows that the selected highway traffic safety facilities are at a good level and this method can provide scientific decision basis for highway traffic facility renovation.

Chain type coal-fired hot blast furnace boiler has a strong coupling, large delay, large inertia characteristics. Control effect of control method of mathematic modeling method and the classical routine of it is very difficult to produce the ideal. The predictive control theory combined with neural network theory. Through the model correction and rolling optimization control method of the system is good to overcome the effects of model error and time-varying process. The experimental results showed that neural network predictive control system is improved effectively the static precision and dynamic characteristic. It has better practicability of boiler temperature of this kind of large time delay system.

The wire transmissions are commonly used in traditional industrial transmitters, but it has the problems like wiring complexity and inconvenience of installation. The design of zigbee wireless transmitter based on C8051F350 is proposed in this paper, which introduced hardware and software, meanwhile, plenty of experiments have been put forward to test it. The result of these experiments shows that it has the features of low power consumption, flexible networking and scalability. This design solves the problem of field wiring, and it has the advantages of lower cost, easy field-installation and operability.

In this paper, the Maximum Likelihood (ML) method using Quantum-behaved Particle Swarm Optimization (QPSO) algorithm is applied to the problem of estimating the direction-of-arrival (DOA) and the Doppler frequency of multiple signal sources impinging on an antenna array simultaneously. The extended observability matrix containing the angle and frequency parameters is established using state-space model. The ML method is used to estimate the parameters accurately and convert the problem from parameter estimation to a nonlinear multidimensional function optimization. Then the DOA and Doppler frequency are estimated by optimizing the likelihood function using QPSO algorithm. The proposed method reserves the asymptotic unbiased estimation of the ML method and reduces the computational burden of calculating the solution. Besides, the estimated parameters can be paired automatically.

The production and consumption of products and services exert much pressure on hydrological cycle. Water footprint is a popular indicator quantifying both direct and indirect water use of a product or service. In this article, water footprints were calculated for three milk products, 180g Yogurt, 250mL Fluid milk and 400g Skim milk powder (SMP) at product brand (YiYi®) level. The process LCA-based water footprint method was applied using primary production data, with both volumetric and stress-weighted results reported. Water footprint values were compared among different life cycle stages and products, and possible mitigation strategies to minimize the burden on freshwater systems from consumptive water use were raised. The results demonstrated the suitability of water footprint as streamlined indicator for product sustainability management and affirmed the importance of farming stage for water footprint reduction.

Parking charges is a widely used and effective means to improve parking demand management. Based on the structural equation theory, the model about the influence factors related to the acceptability of parking charges was established. Eight factors were selected for the modeling, including problem perception, willingness, perceived effectiveness, perceived benefits, perceived freedom, perceived fairness, social norms and accountability. And a survey of two charging schemes was undertaken in Nanjing concerning influence factors of the acceptability. Model verification and path coefficient test were conducted based on the established structural equation model by AMOS. It is indicated that the most significant factors affecting the acceptability of parking charges measure are perceived effectiveness and willingness. Finally, according to the conclusions, the suggestions of improving acceptability of parking charges were presented.

This paper is researching on methods to get the absorption coefficient of the material with large dimension. The absorption coefficient can be got by the source mirror method which the FRF of two pressure signals near the material surface in point source field is obtained. The influence of the factors such as the source height, the material size, horizontal distance and positions of two microphones on the accuracy was analyzed by experiments and the indirect boundary element method. The results from this method discussed in this paper are basically the same with that from the impedance tube.

Recent years, many infrastructures, say building structures and bridge structures, have suffered from multi-hazards. According to official reports, 286 fires broke out due to the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake, and fire after 1995 Kobe earthquake destroyed almost 7000 buildings. Current design codes treat earthquakes, fires and explosions as completely independent. The application of multi-hazard design is essential for improving the safety of structures, reducing building life cycle costs and increasing efficiency. In this paper, some influential multi-hazard incidents are described primarily, and the state-of-the-art and research needs on multi-hazard design are presented.

Due to operating conditions and economic factors, it may be either practical or feasible to measuring the chemical species directly in the continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) system which is a typical nonlinear, multi-variables, time-varying system. So, a concentration estimate strategy of components based on Kalman filter is proposed, with which the measurement of temperature conversion can be reconstructed. Then the state feedback controller is designed based on the estimated strategy. Simulation results show that the proposed control scheme is efficient and the system contains good dynamic performance.

The paper expounds the basic principle of the weak signal detection on chaotic system at first , according to the actual situation that the signal phase is unknown Received in the communication and radar systems, a new chaos detection model is presented based on traditional chaos system, combined with autocorrelation detection technology , completed the random phase weak sinusoidal signal detection. The simulation analysis indicates that the proposed method succeeds in detecting Random Phase weak sinusoidal signal, and furthermore the signal-to-noise threshold is lower than either autocorrelation or chaotic oscillator.

This paper puts forward the suitable conditions of high sulphur fuel oil in China wire mesh particle trap counter blowing regeneration technology. The regeneration process is characterized by the filter body is separated from particle combustion, solve the problem of broken filter body and burning-out, at the same time remove the not burning material in the trap. By filtering body regeneration experiment made the counter blowing regeneration scheme, design and optimization of the diesel exhaust particulate trap wire mesh filter body and counter blowing regeneration system. Finally by engine bench test, test the diesel exhaust particulate after-treatment device influence on power performance and fuel economy of diesel engine, the jet pressure, jet time and scavenging time on back and collection efficiency effect.

This study developed a safety evaluation model for traffic operation environment of freeway tunnel based on the grey entropy weight clustering. Firstly, a safety evaluation system was proposed including four aspects related road conditions, traffic operating conditions, environmental conditions and climate condition. Secondly, whitenization weight function was defined and weights of indexes were determined by entropy theory. Thirdly, the grey entropy clustering coefficient was calculated, and the safety level for traffic operation environment of freeway tunnels was evaluated. Finally, a case study of seven tunnels of XI-HAN freeway was conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.

This paper developed a model for urban rail transit lines construction schedule based on cumulative prospect theory. Firstly, six typical influencing factors of urban rail transit construction schedule were proposed and analyzed. Secondly, the decision matrix was build and standardized. In addition, the prospect value function was defined based on the cumulative prospect theory and gray correlation analysis, and an optimization model was constructed. Thirdly, the optimal weight vector was solved and the construction schedule was determined. Finally, a case study of Xian rail transit was conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.

This article is applying the Mathematician Markov's theory of Decision Process to analyse the flight data of a fleet of planes, so that summarizing and forecasting the trends of safety in an airline's organization. The article uses one airlines' fleet with only one type of aircraft, focusing on the flight data, i.e. landing acceleration factors as a study of flying safety and there occurrences at certain times. In addition, the study will detail this process and describe it through using the language of mathematics. Finally, the writer also gives the suggestions which can improve flying safety and how to use this model of Dynamic Planning

A new definition of potential field distribution function of image was proposed, and the characteristics of the distribution function were analyzed. Distribution function of potential field represents whole fluctuant information of image. So it can be used to analyze the image characteristics. Potential field of image background is weak and correspond to Gaussian distribution. Low stage of potential field distribution function can be used to evaluate noise level of image. Inflection point of the amplitude distribution function of potential field represented the transition point between the background and the actual edge in potential field image. So value of this point can be used as the threshold value to identify edge. When object distance of microscope changes, the edge comes more and more clear, and the edge area judged by the method above will be bigger and bigger. This character can be used to instruct auto-focus process.

The types, causes and image properties of the defective and damaged chips are been analyzes. On the basis of analyzing the image properties, Bayesian classifier and identification method are proposed. Based on the Bayesian decision theory, five kinds of image features such as the number of light spot, dark spot, edge spot, block and area are applied. Normal distribution is made use to building classifier and studying the correction strategy of model. In the process of identification, dynamical correction and model parameters completion make the classifier have some degree of self-learning feature and higher identification accuracy. Liquid co-precipitation method was applied to produce LiFePO4 cathode materials in which Ferrous carbonate was used as raw material. The morphology and electrochemical property of LiFePO4 were characterized by XRD, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and charge/discharge test respectively. The results show when the precursor was synthesized at 80°C and then heat treated at 700°C for 5h, the particle size of LiFePO4 was 0.1-1μm and the obtained LiFePO4 shows impressive discharge specific capacity of 155mAh•g-1 at 1C rate.

According to the Near-Field Acoustic Holography (NAH) theory, we designed a measurement system, which was used to localize the noise source on five hologram surfaces of a industrial sewing machine. Moreover, we compared the localization results of the noise source on the front surface of the industrial sewing machine by NAH and sound intensity method respectively. The measurement results can provide a theoretical basis for controlling the noise of industrial sewing machine.

High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) is an ongoing standard, and it employs the quad-tree block partitioning structure which includes coding unit, prediction unit, and transform unit. This content-adaptive coding tree structure can improve HEVC coding efficiency significantly, but it also consumes large computational complexity. This paper proposed a fast intra coding unit size decision algorithm to reduce the heavy complexity of HEVC encoding. First, the proposed algorithm reduced unit sizes search by using the classifier, which is based on the statistical learning. Second, an early largest unit size decision was designed to skip the checking of unnecessary unit sizes. As compared to the full search algorithm in HEVC reference software, experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves 50.4% computation saving on average with 1.83% bit rate increase and 0.070dB peak signal-to-noise ratio loss.

In multi-view video plus depth (MVD) coding based free viewpoint video applications, a few reference viewpoints’ texture and depth videos should be compressed and transmitted at the server side. At the terminal side, the display view videos could be the decoded reference view videos or the virtual viewpoints’ videos which are synthesized by DIBR technology. The entire video quality of all display views are decided by the number of reference viewpoints and the compression distortion of each reference viewpoint’s texture and depth videos. This paper studies the impact of the reference viewpoints selection on the entire video quality of all display views. The results show that depending on the available network bandwidth, the MVD coding requires different selections of reference viewpoints to maximize the entire video quality of all display views.

This paper proposes a multi-channel video signal switch system. The authors introduce a key technology which uses AD8108/AD8109 as switching devices, micro-controller LPC2214ARM as the control unit to form a multi-channel video switch. Firstly, this paper analyzes the working principle of AD8108/AD8109 and LPC2214. Then the authors give the hardware structure of the multi-channel video switch system, and the software design of the system. Finally, this paper puts forward the key issues to the switch of the multi-channel video signal after experiments. Facts have shown that these factors must be taken into account in the design of successful video signal switch systems.

In order to determine a reasonable scale of rail transit network in Xi'an, four influencing factors are analyzed. Based on the introduction of three indicators of rail transit network scale and the network density index, a method of rail transit network scale is proposed. Also, the determination method of parameters is given. The method is used to forecast the rail transit network scale with the actual situation of Xi'an. The result shows that the scale of Xi'an rail transit network is about 550km.

The network scale is an important indicator of the urban rail transit. In order to determine a reasonable scale of rail transit network, this paper analysis the influencing factors of the urban rail transit network scale. Furthermore, the main indicators of the network are summed up and analyzed. And a model of rail transit network scale is proposed based on the traffic demand. Finally, a case study of Xi'an is used to validate the model. The result shows that the model is effective and practical.

A self-calibration algorithm for concentric uniform circular arrays (C-UCA) in the presence of mutual coupling is presented. The proposed algorithm can simultaneously estimate the directions of arrival (DOA) of signal sources and coupling coefficients of antenna array with a calibration source. It not only can calibrate the mutual coupling of the inner sub-arrays, but also can compensate for the mutual coupling between sub-arrays. Compared with conventional self-calibration algorithm based on iterative alternating minimization technique, the proposed algorithm transforms joint estimation about DOA and mutual coupling coefficients into cascaded estimation, which means that the parameters can be obtained by one dimensional spectrum peak search. The proposed self-calibration algorithm has high estimation precision and low computational burden. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the presented method.

Special software for laser molten pool temperature field based on LabVIEW was developed．Thermal radiation image of laser molten pool temperature taken by CCD were processed by the special software. It was shown that the software had a visual interface and the laser molten pool temperature field could be measured at real-time and the whole system is simple and efficiency. The software is easy to operate and can measure the laser molten pool temperature field quickly and exactly.

To study interactive relations between urban arterial transit route and land-use under TOD mode, the features of urban arterial transit route and its surrounding land-use were analyzed. An interactive relation model between urban arterial transit route and land-use was established with nonlinear differential equations. Dynamic evolvement and trends of urban arterial transit route and land-use were analyzed, and stability and conditions on equilibrium states were shown by differential equation stability theory. A simulation was done to show that the development of arterial transit route in urban had a trend to surpass traffic capacity of equilibrium state.

In order to clear rail lines of the construction of the timing, the need for each line analysis and evaluation of scientific and rational manner, thus forming a good construction planning program. Analysis of the impact of rail transit construction timing factors, and presented its quantitative methods; further established based on the weighted gray correlation of urban rail transit construction methods and sequence the steps to solve the model. Finally, an example of Xi'an rail transit network in the timing of the construction. The results show that the proposed method using the results of the same order with the actual construction, the method is simple and has good application prospects.

As an advanced repair technology, the laser remanufacturing technology has been paid much more attentions recently. The authors previously studied the vision calibration by using the Matlab Calibration toolbox. Since the boundaries of a single image have to be specified manually, however, the Matlab toolbox based calibration method will be time consuming and low precision. This article continues the study of vision calibration for laser remanufacturing machine system and proposes a new binocular vision calibration method based on Halcon10.0 software. Experimental results show that the proposed calibration process consumes shorter time and is able to achieve higher precision.

Macao managed for over 400 years to develop Iberian characteristics in the city together with the Chinese characteristics; it has formed an organic urban fabric reflecting ecological principles original from different places, that could easily to be adopted under tropic circumstance, The study focus on the researches of how these elemental principles should be, and how to develop and maintain those ecological principles. Survey was done on existing data from three different sources, namely 1) graphic images and maps, 2) documents archives, 3) archeological findings. The paper contributed for the knowledge would not only helpful to Macau modern urban renewal, but also benefit to relevant projects on ecological city plan.

According to the principle of muscular hydrostats, a flexible biomimetic octopus arm is put forward firstly. The method of vector control for the flexible biomimetic octopus arm is presented and analysed in detail. Based on the combination of ARM (advanced RISC microprocessor) and FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arry), a control system for the flexibie biomiometic octopus arm is discussed, and the functions of every components is analysed. To verify the feasibility and reliability of the method of vector control, experimets are carried out. The experimemtal results demonstrate that this method applied in the control of the biomimetic octopus arm has a good performance.

The analysis and modeling of road network capacity provides a useful measure for urban planning and traffic management. Therefore, the primary purpose of this research is to construct a novel approach of modeling the capacity of road network, based on the theory of space and time consumption. Based on the analysis of model parameters, a bi-level model is proposed to determine and optimize the capacity of road network Meanwhile, this paper elaborates on solution algorithm for its upper and lower level model. Taking the area of Ming Dynasty City Wall in Xi’an, China into account as a case study, the effectiveness of this proposed model is verified. The results presents that the model’s validity is verified. The results show that the main road network capacity in city wall of Ming Dynasty is 721883 pcu/d.

Mechanical products are becoming increasingly precise after industrial revolutions. Design is important for the manufacture of those products. Good mechanical design can improve the quality of product, and the efficiency of manufacture. To find the problems in the design and then improve the design, it needed the simulation process after the mechanical design was completed. Computer technologies in simulation process, such as software technology and virtual technology, were deeply studied in this work which combined practice with the concept and characteristics of machine design.
