In order to avoid the cascading tripping caused by power flow transferring, a fast identification method of two branches simultaneous removal under multiple voltage levels was proposed. Calculate the per-unit value of element parameters under different voltage levels. Search the K shortest paths between the two nodes of broken line with the network topology considering the two branches removal and the value of K was optimized. Use the power flow transfer factor to estimate the power flow increment of lines on the path and the key lines in power flow transferring were obtained. The method is accurate and it is verified in the IEEE39 node system.

Digital copyright protection is a bottleneck in the cross-media industry currently. In this paper, image normalization technique is used to map image into a geometric invariant space. Then, important area is extracted from the normalized image. At last, important area’s low-frequency DCT coefficients and watermark image are used to construct copyright information. Simulation results show that, without changing original image data, the proposed scheme is robust to geometric attacks and some conventional signal processing attacks. Hence it provides an effective solution for high reliability copyright protection.

An active dye, Methyl Orange (MO) was employed as the target pollutant to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of TiO2/schorl composite and the kinetics and thermodynamics of this process was emphasized in this work. Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetic model was employed for the kinetic studies and the results revealed that the process of MO photocatalytic discoloration by TiO2/schorl composite followed one order reaction kinetic equation under different conditions. The reaction rate constant (k) increased with initial MO concentration decreasing. When the catalyst dosage or solution pH increased, kvalues increased and then decreased. The possible reasons for these phenomena were discussed. Finally, the thermodynamic parameters ΔG, ΔH, ΔSwere obtained by the classical Van't Hoff equation.

In situ growth of TiO2 nanocrystals on the surface of schorl was realized via Sol-Gel method in this work. The obtained TiO2/schorl composite photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). An active dye, Methyl Orange (MO), was used to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of TiO2/schorl composite photocatalyst. The effect of sintering temperature and time on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2/schorl was emphasized in this work. XRD results indicated that TiO2 existed in the form of anatase only when the temperature was less than 550°C, and the sintering time was less than 2.5h. Higher sintering temperature and longer sintering time could impel the appearance of rutile phase. SEM observations revealed that the nanosized particles of TiO2 were well dispersed and immobilized on the surface of schorl. The optimum preparation conditions of TiO2/schorl composite with best photocatalytic activity were that sintering temperature was 550°C and sintering time was 2.5h.

The determination of the rational layered water injection intensity is the basis to stable oil production and high-yield in oil field. This article analyzes the various influential factors of the separated layer water injection intensity, using grey synthetic degree to determine the dominant influential factors. The weight value is obtained by normalization, each influence factor is quantization. Using grey correlation analysis method to determine the plane dividing coefficient and the vertical dividing coefficient, a reasonable stratified water injection intensity formula is got. This method considers the impact of these factors which consist of permeability, the measure transformation coefficient, perforation thickness, injector producer distance, location coefficient and the number of injector and producer. The problem which the contradiction exists in the same layer or between the layer and layer is obvious in the D block through combining with the current water injection development, reasonable dividing coefficient of block is established, a reasonable stratified water injection intensity formula is got, making well block reasonable injection and increasing adjustment effect of water flooding.

The marine medaka Oryziasmelastigma was used as model organism to detect and evaluate the cardiac function alterations of medaka embryos due to oil exposure induced ecotoxicological effect in the present study. Results showed that the developing medaka heart was a sensitive target organ for the toxic effects of crude oil. Cardiac function of medaka embryos was clearly affected by exposure to WAF of crude oil after 24 hours exposure. Significant differences in cardiac structure and function of medaka embryo were found between exposed and control groups. The chemicals in crude oil slowed down the embryos heart rates, reduced cardiac contractility capability and causes irregular heartbeats. At higher exposure concentrations (7.2 mg/L), swelled and enlarged heart morphology, lower blood circulation and accumulation of blood around the heart area was found. These findings indicate that cardiac function of marine medaka embryo may be used as a toxicity model and biomarker for oil pollution.

This paper presents the backtracking search optimization algorithm with low-discrepancy sequences to solve mechanical design optimization problems involving problem-specific constraints and many different variables. Similar to other evolutionary algorithms, backtracking search optimization algorithm is sensitive to the initial population. Generally speaking, since there is no information about the optimization problem, the initial population should be created uniformly. The low-discrepancy sequences are employed to increase the uniformity of the initial population. The benchmark problems widely used in the literature of mechanical design optimization are used to evaluate the performance of the presented algorithm. Results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and efficient for solving the mechanical design optimization problems considered.

The dew point detection often occur in the industrial field, and control schemes of intelligent dew point measurer directly influence its detecting precision and response time. The sensing signal of dew layer thickness is used as the control object directly in previous control schemes. When the control object is stable and reach the set value, the temperature signal is detected and be used as the dew point temperature. Control effects of above schemes are not ideal because they ignore the radioactive statistical fluctuation. The more effective control law of intelligent dew point measurer is presented by introducing the real signal of dew layer thickness and using Gevers-Wouters algorithm to estimate it. It can make the control process more accurate and improve the detecting precision and response speed of intelligent dew point measurer. It is suitable for real time applications.

Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) polymer material was synthesized via a simple approach by directly heating melamine as the precursor at 500°C. The phase composition, chemical functional groups, and surface morphology of the obtained product were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. All the characterization results identified the formation of g-C3N4 with stack-layered structure. The absorption and photocatalytic performance of as-synthesized g-C3N4 for the discoloration of an active dye, Methylene Blue (MB), were proved to be excellent and control experiments inferred that adsorption and photocatalysis governed the MB discoloration under UV irradiation. The repeated experiments indicated that the obtained sample could be reused more than five times without loss of its absorption capacity and photocatalytic activity.

Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs)/ZnFe2O4 nanocomposites were prepared by a colloidal deposition (CD) method. The as-prepared AuNPs/ZnFe2O4 nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with energy dispersive spectrum (EDS). XRD results showed that the diffraction peaks of AuNPs gradually increased with the increase of AuNPs content. SEM observations revealed that the AuNPs were presented as regular nanoparticles on the ZnFe2O4 in all the composites. With the increase in Au content, the amount of AuNPs deposited on ZnFe2O4 surface increased. EDS element analysis indicated that the actual content of AuNPs in nanocomposites was consistent with its preset value before preparation by CD method. An active dye, Methyl Orange (MO), was employed as the target pollutant to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of AuNPs/ZnFe2O4 under UV irradiation. The photocatalytic evaluation showed that MO discoloration ratio could reach 72.17% when the nanocomposite with AuNPs content of 5 wt.% was used as the photocatalyst. Finally, the possible mechanism for the enhanced photocatalytic activity of ZnFe2O4 by AuNPs was proposed.

The seismic response of the Wusong bridge was analyzed though the response spectrum method and the time-history method by adopting the MIDAS/CIVIL. The analysis results show that the longitudinal displacement of the main girder is much larger under longitudinal seismic input, so some inhibiting device or dampers should be used to avoid impacting. There is not coupling between longitudinal and lateral seismic excitations, while the seismic response of moment and shear force at the bottom of the main tower is much larger. On the contrary the seismic response of main beam and the main cable should be calculated under the longitudinal and vertical seismic excitations because of the coupling between the both of them. Furthermore, the artificial seismic wave fitting standard response spectrum was generated to conduct the time-history analysis and the results are much larger than the results from the response spectrum method.

Earthquake is a kind of natural disaster which is difficult to predict and the damage degree is very great, occurrence of the strong motion often leads to the tremendous life and property loss. Bridge is very important lifeline engineering and it is very necessary to conduct the comprehensive and systemic investigation on the bridge aseismic. In this paper, the FEM model of a long-span cable-bridge was established; the dynamic characteristic and nonlinear seismic responses under uniform and non-uniform excitations of it were systematic studied. The results show that: 1) the basic cycle of it is about 8.881s. Its first mode of vibration is longitudinal floating mode, which is favorable to the earthquake-response of structures. 2) Its former 40 rank frequency are located between 0.1~2Hz which is avail to the condition of traffic condition.3) the geometric nonlinearity has much influence on the response of this kind of bridge.4) the seismic responses are sensitive to the frequency spectra of the input earthquake wave. 5) The traveling wave excitations are unfavorable to the design of tower and the main girder when considering the three orthogonal seismic wave input. In order to get correct results, artificial seismic wave of the bridge address is necessary to the time-history analysis.

The author proposes a novel DCT domain image encryption algorithm based on Lorenz chaotic system. The paper firstly subdivides digital image into sub-images, each of which is transformed with DCT transform. Then some DCT transform coefficients are selected with filtering. Finally the retained DCT transform coefficients are cross encrypted with three chaotic sequences which Lorenz chaotic system generates. Simulation experiments and secure performance analysis show that the algorithm has a good encryption effect and anti-attack abilities.

Image interpolation is one of the key technologies in image processing. A special distance correction algorithm based on membership function is proposed in this paper to complete image interpolation. Fuzzy logic is used to get the membership function with the local characteristics of the gradient and phase angle. The first step is to correct the special distance of interpolated pixels along one dimension in the basis of local asymmetry features and the membership function, then convert the corrected distance of one dimension into two dimension, applying the corrected distance to conventional image interpolation algorithms. Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm can produce better results in regard to the signal-to-nosie ratio and succeeds in preserving interpolation image edges of various directions.

Rapid and automatic extraction of pollutants is of great importance for mobile camera in real-world scenarios. In the moving process of robot, the camera is treated as dynamic background, and the pollutants on the camera are treated as static target. So as to realize the detection of static target in dynamic scene, this paper presents an automatic extraction algorithm for pollutants based on frame difference accumulation. Firstly, this algorithm can determine whether pollutants exist or not by the overall trend of gray histogram of the cumulative frame difference images. And then if existing pollutants, Otsu algorithm was adopted to adaptively calculate threshold to convert the gray image into binary image. In this paper, analysis of the important parameters of the algorithm - cumulative frame number and frame difference threshold was implemented. Moreover, feasibility of the algorithm was verified by experiments on the automatic extraction of pollutants for gun-type camera.

Electromagnetic interference easily appears in the propulsive wheel - a key component of the mobile robots, because internal space of propulsive wheel is very small, there are numerous electronic devices, and signal communication is complex. So electromagnetic shielding is very important for the propulsive wheel. In this paper, a wheel model and an equivalent source model of electromagnetic interference of the wheel were developed based on considerations of the internal electromagnetic properties. At the same time, a secondary source of electromagnetic interference is formed by heat sink. Hence, shielding effectiveness is taken as one of the evaluation criteria for the Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) problem, and the Genetic Algorithm (GA) in the software Ansoft HFSS platform was used to optimize the first resonance frequency of heat sink.

Research work on the thermosiphon layout design of transmission line pile foundation in Geermu permafrost region was performed by finite element method and the influence of thermosiphon layout design on the temperature of soil around pile foundation was calculated and analyzed. The numerical calculation results indicated that the cooling effect of thermosiphon was obvious, but the coolling effect varied with the difference of thermosiphon layout design. The more thermosiphon bars were laid out aound pile foundation, the lower the temperature of soil around pile foundation. The cooling effect of thermosiphon on pile foundation and soil became weaker and weaker with the increment of the horizontal distance between soil and thermosiphon-pile. The layout design of 12 thermosiphon bars was the best for the transmission line pile foundation in permafrost region.

Transient Stability Assessment (TSA) aims at assessing stability of power system operation state quickly. This paper introduces rough set theory and clustering analysis to assess power system transient stability. At first, the stability operation parameters and fault places are taken as feature attributes based on the trait of power system transient ability. K-means algorithm is used to make continuous attributes among feature attributes discrete. Then feature attributes and stability types are taken as conditional attributes and decision attributes respectively. Initial decision table is established. Finally, rough set theory is used to form final decision table and rules of TSA are obtained. The IEEE 9-Bus system is employed to demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach.

According to the principle of the train longitudinal dynamics, the heavy haul longitudinal dynamics nonlinear model is established to analyze the influences of the load distribution pattern and the locomotive position on train longitudinal dynamics. The study of this paper is divided into two parts. The first, train model is composed by a locomotive and six trailers, researching the influences of the load distribution pattern on train longitudinal dynamics, the analysis results show that, the best load distribution pattern is the descending from head to tail of the train, in this case, the coupler force is minimum, and the train longitudinal dynamics is best; the second, train model is composed by two locomotives and five trailers, researching the influences of the position of the locomotive on train longitudinal dynamics. The analysis results show that, if the first locomotive is at the head of the train, then the second locomotives best position is at the end of the train, in this case, the coupler is minimum. But the train longitudinal dynamics performance is the worst with two locomotives are located in the head.
