Introduce the current development of distributed generation, the structure and protection configuration of existing distribution network, and the fault current insert of different kinds of distributed generation was introduced. Through the distribution network in different positions to join distributed generation, the influence of the join of distributed generation on the existing protection of distribution network was analyzed, which included the serious interference to the sensitivity and selectivity of the original protection, the refusal of line protection, the action error of non- fault line protection. The influence of distributed generation on automatic reclosing, and the effect between fuses was discussed, to some extent, and base on the discussion some appropriate countermeasures are proposed.

Electrochemical or electro co-deposition techniques have been used to deposit particles in metallic matrices to prepare composite coatings. The properties of the composite material can be improved by varying the type, size, amount and distribution of the incorporated particles. The effect factors of particles content in the coating were are presented in this review. The main focus is on the effect of surfactant, electrodeposition technology, zeta Potential and particles concentration in the bath on the content and distribution of co-deposited particles in the metal matrix.

The nanocrystalline materials for hydrogen storage offer a breakthrough in prospects for practical applications. Their excellent properties are from the combined engineering of many factors: alloy composition, surface properties, microstructure, grain size and others. Nanoengineering can speed up the kinetics, lower the enthalpy of formation and reduce the temperature of releasing hydrogen. The main focus is on the nanostructured metal hydrides, preparing nanograined materials and the effects of nanomaterials on the hydrogen storage properties in this review.

In order to research the influence of the shear capacity of reinforced concrete beam with the incorporation of basalt fiber, four basalt fiber reinforced concrete beams with parameters of length and volume ratio were designed and made. The fiber lengths were 12mm and 30mm, and the volume ratios were 1‰ and 2‰. The test data of basalt fiber reinforced concrete was obtained through the shear experiments and comparison with the common reinforced concrete beam. The results of the experiment show that the cracking load of the basalt fiber reinforced concrete beam increase obviously with the growing of fiber characteristic parameters, and effectively reduce the diagonal crack width.

Hydrogen is considered a promising alternative energy carrier that can potentially facilitate the transition from fossil fuels to sources of clean energy because of its prominent advantages such as high energy density, great variety of potential sources, light weight and low environmental impact (water is the sole combustion product). Due to low price and abundance magnesium should be considered as a potential candidate for hydrogen storage. Recent progress in the application of Magnesium-based nanostructured and composite materials in hydrogen storage is presented in this review. The main focus is on the synthesis of composite material, the design of nanocomposite material, the improvement of the thermodynamical properties and kinetics of hydrogenation/dehydrogenation and the improvement of resistance towards oxygen contamination.

Yongjiang Bridge in Ningbo is a double-tower-connected cable-stayed bridge which new structure system is very complex and the first one in China. In order to roundly investigate the structural behavior of the double-tower-connected, 3:40 scaled-down model test and space finite element analysis were presented. Test objective, model design principle, the ratio of similarity, test cases, loading method and the strain test point arrangement were introduced in detail. By comparison of two unfavorable test cases, most test data were quite agreeable with the theoretical data, which verified the design concept. The results indicate that the whole resistant behavior is well and the structure is safe and reliable.
