The study is based on XISS(XML Indexing and Storage System) of Dietz’s Numbering Schema to determine the ancestor-descendant relationship. According to the results of research, this paper proposes an improved method of node encoding, realizes its indexing structure, and discusses its query path. Finally, the paper analyzes the property of this improved method.

Data exchange can make different information systems of enterprises realize data interaction. The objective establishing it is to keep information sharing and synchronization in enterprises, which can effectively use resources, improve the performance of the system and speeds up information circulation. Data exchange model is the core of realizing data exchange and it has a set of completed data storage and access mechanism. The paper verifies the mapping of relational schema and XML schema, the conversion of database and XML data, and XML document schema, and the paper constructs XSLT documents among different XML schemas, and explains and implements the algorithms of the conversion among different XML documents.

With the development of computer and network technology, data mining based on database tables already cannot satisfy the need. The emergence of the Internet has huge amounts of information resources of the computer, and the implied knowledge but it has not been fully used, therefore the Web mining technology become the hotspot in research of high-tech. XML allows structured data from different sources together easily, thus making it possible to search diversification, incompatible database, Web data mining brings new opportunity. In this paper, through the study of the application of XML in Web data mining, this paper proposes a data mining system structure based on XML.

XML has become the standard form of data exchange, more and more data in this form for storage, implying a lot of knowledge in these data information, the need for data mining processing. For XML data mining method at present, most of the need is to pass the XML data into relational data pretreatment process, using the traditional method for processing, data mining process is complex and the effect is not ideal. Therefore, there is an urgent need some effective methods for XML data mining directly.

In order to implement the mapping between XML documents and relational database, this paper proposes the mapping method based on XML documents and relational database. On the basis of keeping documents ’hierarchy, order and uniqueness, this method can mapping XML documents to the corresponding relational database very quickly and implement the reconstruction of XML documents.

For many government departments or enterprises to use new system upgrades, data transfer between heterogeneous database problem, this paper puts forward a kind of heterogeneous database based on XML and middleware model of data migration.The model by using XML technology to build a middleware, through the ODBC interface connected to the source database and target database.After extracting data from the source database into a unified XML documents, again according to the mapping relationship between old and new database and XSL document, and converts it to meet the needs of the target XML document, the target database and load the data to the target database.The model including data extraction, transformation, validation, write, and other functions, is a cross-platform, easy extensibility and reusability.

This paper will first introduce the XML encryption technology and encryption standard, and three models of XML document encryption, and then the paper will give three simple implementation of the XML encryption document in the. NET Framework platform. It preliminary ensures the safety of XML document and shows the flexibility and simplicity of XML encryption technology.

In order to resolve the inefficiency for XML data query and support dynamic updates, etc, this paper has proposed an improved method to encode XML document nodes. On the basic of region encoding and the prefix encoding, it introduces a XML document coding schema base on binary (CSBB). The CSBB code use binary encoding strategy and make the bit string inserted in order. The bit string inserted algorithm can generate ordered bit string to reserve space for the inserted new nodes, and not influence on the others. Experiments shows the CSBB code can effectively avoid re-encoding of nodes, and supports the nodes Dynamic Update.

In order to meet the requirement better of heterogeneous information integration, this paper proposes a XML information integration model based on ontology technology. This model comes to share and reuse of structured knowledge, explicitness of domain knowledge. According to mapping method from ontology to XML schema, the model also comes to document query based on global semantic, solves the semantic heterogeneity of XML information integration. This paper gives a mapping algorithm to implement the validated verify of XML semantic information for automatic indexing information. Finally, this paper explained simply the query algorithm so that the users can conveniently the query of heterogeneous XML information.

With the extensive application of XML, especially in e-commerce field, XML data security has become the focus of people, which particularly shows in its structural attack specific to the location relation to elements in tree structure. Combined with the characteristics of tree structure of XML data as well as the basic features of traversing binary tree, the paper proposes a method to protect the structural-integrity of XML digital signature, so as to protect XML data element from structural attack through the basic features of traversing binary tree, and ensure the absolute location relationship among elements.

The XML documents are nested and semi-structured, but the traditional access control mechanism is coarse-grained and not applicable. We proposed an XML access control model (XACM) for XML repository. The XACM provides a fine granular definition for XML authorizations, which is based on the self-description characteristic of XML. We also discuss how to use the XACM to automatically preserve the access control policy, when relational databases are published as XML documents. Finally, we present the implementation of the XACM in an actual XML publisher system. Comparing with existing related works, the XACM is more flexible, efficient and less overheads.

Because of XML is the very important data exchange technology to realize data exchange and transmission ability, this paper mainly explores the data exchange problem how to use XML in heterogeneous database system, , and .Net platform have good support to XML and heterogeneous database system, so the combination of XML and.net, can realize data exchange of heterogeneous database system.

Currently in the application level of Internet of Things (IoT), relevant data format standards are very complicated and every relational subject goes his own way. To solve this problem, this paper, from the view of XML and G/S model, started with the relationship among Internet, Semantic Web and IoT and then put forward the way of building the IoT data format standardization system. The IoT data format standardization should be based on XML for syntax and on G/S model. Data Exchange Standards System of the IoT should adopt XML as its grammar format. Finally, the system (base on MSML) with a specific application is illustrated.

Uncertain relational data management has been investigated for a few years, but few works on uncertain XML. The natural structures with high flexibility make XML more appropriate for representing uncertain information. Based on the semantic of possible world and probabilistic models with independent distribution and mutual exclusive distribution nodes, the problem of how to generate instance from a probabilistic XML and calculate its probability was studied, which is one of the key problems of uncertain XML management. Moreover, an algorithm for a generating XML document from a probabilistic XML and calculating its probability are also proposed, which has linear time complexity. Finally, experiment results are made to show up the correct and efficiency of the algorithm.

It is a challenge to transform legacy XML-based data into ontology for applications of the semantic web, such as semantic-based integrations, intelligent web searching, and internet based knowledge reasoning. We propose a new technique to transform XML data into ontology data automatically by modeling XML documents semantically. Firstly, we provide the XML a semantically interpretation by developing a graph-based formal language, w-graph. Then, the result of the interpretation can be automatically mapped into OWL web ontology language with semantics preserved. The proof of semantics preserved also been considered, and automatic mapping tool has been developed.

Object recognition and reconstruction plays an important role in the area of 3D robot vision, which has wide applications in autonomous mobile system. For communication between heterogeneous applications, generalized and universal object description file format is needed to be developed to replace proprietary file format. In this paper, first, a new object description model was designed by using XML Schema definition language. Second, based on the description design, a dynamic link library (dll) was implemented for converting data format among different systems. At the end, experimental results are demonstrated.

A new algorithm and a mapping scheme between XML document and relational database were presented. The scheme extracted name, type, value and other information from XML document, and then mapped them to relational database. Data from relational database can be restored to XML document. This method avoids information loss in the data transfer process and remains the structural relation between elements. And this mapping scheme does not depend on XML DTD or Schema.

Labeling the nodes of an XML document allows queries without accessing the original file. For dynamic XML documents, the labeling scheme should support both efficient queries and insertion updates. This paper proposed a new labeling scheme, DCPL (Dynamic Common Prefix Labeling), to process dynamic XML documents efficiently. Compared with the existing schemes, DCPL presents a prominent feature of maintaining its simplicity and efficiency in dynamic and static documents. Meanwhile, it can efficiently support labeling updates, especially frequent updates, without sacrifices of query performance. The conducted experiments have shown that our proposal works better than the previous ones.

Query processing of graph-structured XML data is a rising topic in XML research field. This paper focuses on reachability query methods of graph-structured XML data. Encoding scheme of CDGX (Coding Directed Graph-structured XML data) is proposed in this paper, which not only can effectively solve the circle problem, but also avoiding a large number of intermediate data and saving storage space. And based on encoding scheme of CDGX, a new reachability query method RJDG (Reachability Judgment on Directed Graph) is put forward to. In RJDG, adjacent nodes in a same graph-structured XML document are got and stored beforehand. RJDG only needs to deal with the adjacent nodes to decide the reachability relationship between XML nodes. Experiments illustrate that RJDG is an efficient reachability query method.

This paper introduces advantages of XML as a data exchange format, and proposes a multi-database system architecture based on XML, a data exchange platform model. We takes full advantage of is the features of XML, including good extensibility and interactivity, to implement the XML-based integration program of heterogeneous databases, making all kinds of data described in a unified XML format. And we describe the actual workflow of the system in this model and theoretically analyze the implementation details of its core modules. Finally, the workflow and the multi-database work mode for users to access databases in the system model based on XML are presented.

XML signature is used to ensure XML data authentication. An XML multi-signature should satisfy multiple data authentication requirements for XML data which passes a hierarchical network of different responsibilities. Based on presented series-parallel XML multi-signature scheme, the implementation of a series-parallel XML multi-signature scheme is illustrated. The paper describes the algorithm for possible XPath in DTD, algorithm for series-parallel graph converting to sub-signing group, and the presentation for signed results.

This paper proposes a XML-based power heterogeneous data integrating framework. The tool uses XML to describe and model the objects of power system in a similar way with rational database. It helps transform the heterogeneous data belonging to different power organizations to the data with uniform format stored as XML files. The tool can enable the heterogeneous data integrating and exchanging of power system. Thus various distributed application can be developed base on this framework. The practical application proved the efficiency of proposed framework.

With the continuous growth in the XML data, the ability to search in massive collections of XML data becomes important. In this paper, we present efficient techniques that are able to employ bloom-filtering to decrease computation complexity that is used to filter irrelevant XML paths. After filtering, a kind of semantic measure is used to compute similarity between the query and the relevant XML documents, which is used to rank retrieval results. Experiment results show that the retrieval prototype system based on bloom-filtering runs faster than ever under the almost same average precise.
