Smart wristband has recently emerged as one of the most popular smart wearable devices. With the help of smart wristbands, we can easily gather and record the user's data of everyday life including exercising, sleeping, diet, etc. In this work, we explore the feature of falls of the old and redesign the smart wristband to detect their movement. We propose a novel algorithm to judge whether he/she stops in a sudden, then produce vibrations through the man-machine interactive interface that provided by the smart wristband. The wearer can judge whether it is misjudged if he is still in conscious, if so he can press a button to stop the shaking or the wristband will give an alarm through communication interface to the medical care center.

Portable breath acetone sensor has great potential in diabetes diagnosis for acetone is a selective breath maker for diabetes. In this paper, we propose a multilayer semiconductor sensor for acetone gas sensing. Device is designed with stress adjustment layer, support layer, metal layer, insulator and sensing film. Simulation is performed, electrothermal and thermomechanical analyses demonstrate that this device has good performance in power consumption and thermomechanical reliability.

In this paper, according to the splitting criterion ucosφ, the effectiveness and boundedness of the improvement method is studied. As the oscillation center may be an isolated dot or exists in a section of the splitting, this paper has proposed the thought of false oscillation center and introduced the relative degree coefficient of oscillation k which reflects the degree of effect on the tie lines. The tie lines being cut off should be sorted based on the value of k. If the system recovers stable, the tie lines remained should not be cut off. It is vital to the control of the splitting and reducing the losses of accidents. In the end, the simulation is given in the IEEE 10 Generator 39 Bus System which proves the correctness and effectiveness of this method.

The empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is a good time-frequency analysis method, which can deal with nonlinear and non-stationary signals. Aiming at improving modal aliasing problem brought by the traditional EMD, white noise is introduced into the improved aided analysis algorithm namely ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD), instantaneous amplitude and frequency can be obtained by using teager energy operator (TEO), which is adopted to identify the type of power quality disturbance. The anti-aliasing of EEMD and real-time detection of TEO are verified by the signal simulation in Matlab. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can detect and locate power quality disturbances accurately and quickly, with excellent detection effects.

Power flow shift being one of the main reasons that cause a large-scale blackout of power system, it is important to get the power flow shift under control at the beginning of the failure. In view of multidrop overload which frequently occurs in power outage, a comprehensive evaluation method is proposed to control the power flow shift. This method synthetically considers the control nodes' ability to eliminate the overload of the transmission in combination with PCA in which nodes' sensitivity of branch is selected as the evaluation index, divides them into two types (nodes that increase the power output to branch and others that decrease the power output to branch) and then obtains the control nodes' operation sequence. Additionally, a reverse equal matching adjustment is used to realize the control over multidrop overload. Typical numerical example is used to verify the effectiveness of the comprehensive evaluation method.

Periodic mechanical overhaul is the most common model for relay protection equipments in power systems of the country. Over-treatment for minor illness or unnecessary treatment for disease-free of relay protection device that didnt need an overhaul would be arose by this model, which caused resource wastes and reduced the availability factor. The paper aims at evaluating and classifying the relay protection equipments, building centesimal evaluation model and prescient mechanical checkout model, as well as improving reliability of electricity grids by building condition-based maintenance, evaluation, decision and support systems of relay protection equipments.

In this paper, a support vector machine (SVM) based land/sea clutter classification algorithm was proposed. For target location error correction based on passive beacon reference source of over-the-horizon radar (OTHR), the signal model of land/sea clutter is established, the three kinds of multi-features of land/sea clutter are analyzed, and the classification algorithm based on SVM using multi-features is detailed. Simulation experiments were carried out for different clutter-noise- ratios, and the results showed that the proposed algorithm has a higher recognition rate of land/sea clutter than algorithms based on single feature of backscatter amplitude or linear discriminant analysis. This paper could provide theoretical guidance for improving target location accuracy.

The formula and calculating method of specific heat ratio in confined explosion with small explosive charge volume ratios under considering chemical reactions of the detonation products was researched. Taking the TNT explosive as an example, a numerical calculating program was written, and the specific heat ratio of the confined explosion either considering the influence of the chemical reactions or not were calculated by the program.

Radiant floor cooling is a new energy saving air conditioning. In recent years, radiant floor cooling effect and its thermal comfort are still in the exploratory period in China. The body's comfort evaluation methods are briefly described in this paper. The indoor temperature and wall temperature of the building envelope determination method is analyzed. Nanhui Art Hall is used as object of study in this paper. Combined with the radiant floor cooling experiments, and using fanger formula calculation, the thermal comfort is calculated. Proper analysis of the results is in two aspects: the clothing thermal resistance and indoor air humidity. With the floor surface temperature below 21.56 °C, and air humidity 55% to 65%, it can meet the requirement of thermal comfort. The result will provide a helpful reference to energy-saving technologies and energy-saving equipment.

During the construction of hydraulic engineering, it usually needs high-resolution and integrated investigation of underwater topography and geomorphology, and shape and position of underwater construction or obstacle. Based on the multibeam interferometric echo sounder, this paper analyzes high-resolution bathymetric topography method of multibeam interferometric principle, and applies the time of arrival (TOA) and direction of arrival (DOA) estimated by interferometric technology to achieve bottom backscatter geomorphology imaging. This method obtains high-resolution bottom backscatter imagery, and its space position realizes the one-to-one with bathymetric data, which makes bathymetric and backscatter imaging data merged accurately in integrated detection of topography and geomorphology. Moreover, the processing results of experiment data from Qingjiang River, in Hubei province of China, show the validity of the method.

In this paper a novel document clustering spectral algorithm is proposed, which uses a minimum maximum principle. Firstly the low dimensional embedding of documents is attained by eigenvalue decomposition, and then a minimum maximum principle is used to get the initial seeds for k-means algorithm. Finally, K-means algorithm is performed to get the clustering results. Experimental results show that the clustering results found by this method is better than traditional clustering algorithm.

Sub-pixel positioning is a key technology in geometry measurement field. Reckoning on the low accuracy of ordinary polynomial interpolation for sub-pixel positioning method because of losing the position of edge points, an improved Sobel edge detection method is first proposed, and then is applied to the thickness measurement system of cable sheath material. The experiment shoes that the edge coordinateonthe detected by our proposed interpolation method is more colse to the real edge than the original method.

As to the production of degreasing unit, fully integrated with the equipment and technological features of the line, the approach for the setting of coiling tension was changed, which was mainly tabular method in the past. Under the new idea, the degreasing process was closely integrated with the bell-type annealing for the first time. Then, to minimize the severity of stick breaks was set as the objective function, and no loose coil and no heart-shaped coil is took as the constraint condition. On these bases, a new comprehensive optimization model for the setting of coiling tension in degreasing unit was put forward. The relation between coiling tension and coil radius was obtained, which was a quadratic curve. This simple and practical technology can make the distribution of internal stress of coil more reasonable, and reduce the incidence of stick breaks, loose coil and heart-shaped coil defects effectively and improve production efficiency, quality and the metal yield.
