With the rapid development of computer and network technology, our everyday life is more and more influenced. In the information age it is an inevitable trend that consumer electronics will become more and more intelligentized and interconnected. Taking into account the characteristics of external network users’ access to a home networking, as well as the important role that the residential gateway plays in the interaction between external networks and home networking, this paper presents the idea of a unique access interface of the home networking. Furthermore, this paper designs and implements an IPv6-based UPnP real-time video and audio capture device, and the real-time audio/video stream captured is forwarded to external network users through the residential gateway. Other multimedia applications can be resolved in the same way.

IPv4 and IPv6 will coexist for a long time, due to ISPes’ inertia in the transition from IPv4 to IPv6. Domain Name System (DNS) is a very important functional unit in the Internet. This paper describres the hierarchy and operating process of IPv6 DNS, IPv6 DNS resolver, and presents the DNS transition from IPv4 to IPv6 in particular. We suggest two methods to implement DNS service during the transition period: DNS-Application Level Gateway (DNS-ALG) with Network Address Translation-Protocol Translation (NAT-PT), and dual stacks. And we also propose their respective operational principles. This paper is of valuable reference for network engineers to construct DNS in the transition phase.

Next generation Internet network mobility management is an urgent and challenging research area. With the development of wireless technology, mobile network research gets more and more attention. NEMO protocol is presented based on mobile IPv6, it not only ensures the continuity of communication when subnet move, but also makes the mobility transparently for the subnet. NEMO technology application can more adapt to the development requirements of the next generation mobile communication network. This paper first introduced the NEMO technology and the existing NEMO routing optimization scheme. Then analyzed and compared the performance of each schemes in the data path and package message overhead.

IPv6 is the core protocol of Future Internet. Thus, IPv6 based QoS (Quality of Service) routing mechanisms need to be developed to support diverse QoS requirements of new network applications. In this paper, an IPv6 based QoS unicast routing mechanism is proposed based on OSPFv3 and BGP4 +. By introducing QoS state message and extending the link state database and link state advertisement, the collection, storage and release of intra-domain QoS information are realized. By introducing NLRI (Network Layer Reachability Information) which supports QoS, the release and revocation of inter-domain QoS routing information are realized. The mechanism not only provides QoS support, but also is compatible with the existing routing protocols. It can be quickly and effectively deployed in networks. A prototype implementation of the proposed mechanism is completed, which is tested under a video conference application over the CERNET2 topology. The results indicate that it is feasible and effective with good performance.

In recent years, much research has been devoted to the analysis of 128 bit architectures; on the other hand, few have evaluated the construction of wide-area networks. In fact, few cyberneticists would disagree with the understanding of IPv6. This is an important point to understand. we describe an autonomous tool for developing compilers, which we call ADZ.

In view of the difficulties of the current router architecture such as capacity, scalability, and power consumption, a fast-path architecture of IPv6 router suitable for parallel processing is proposed. The fast-path architecture of IPv6 router is designed and implemented using NoC structure. Thereby, a parallel processing structure of IP packets combining the distributed IP address lookup and the parallel IP packet switching is implemented. It is convenient to replace the search algorithm and to expand the hardware scale, and it can improve the overall performance of the router effectively.

Agricultural IOT (Internet of things) is the integration of modern information and communication technology in agriculture. Based on 6LoWPAN wireless sensor networks, this paper puts forward a real-time monitoring system to agricultural environment, in order to improve the function of modern agricultural greenhouse control system. This system uses the 6LoWPAN as backbone to reach the goal of point-to-point communication between NGI (next generation Internet) and wireless sensor networks signed with IPv6. It is no specific gateway to protocol transition and carrying which makes it possible to realize real-time monitoring and controlling of agricultural environment, reduce energy consumption, shorten the delay time.

There are many obstacles exit in the mobile management scheme, it mainly shows in its not high switching performance, excess signaling overhead and too long handoff delay, hard guaranteed quality of service in handoff as well as safety problem. It put forwards a fast handoff scheme which advances HMIPv6 by giving it authority to temporary mobility anchor point (LT-TMAP). The lower level access router is licensed through upper level of MAP, make it a temporal mobility anchor point to give distribute management to mobile node, and describe the implementation process theoretically. In the end, we use the NS-2 simulation tool to build network topology and based on the IPv6 test-bed build in our school network laboratory which I help researched to give a simulation test to that handoff scheme. It proves the handoff scheme can take better advantage of the network MAP resource, has stronger real-time performance, and higher handoff efficiency.

The proposed IPv6 protocol has brought new problems for network security. The new protocol and features were introduced for IPv6 and the new type of attack applicable in the environment of IPv6 was summarized. And then, according to the idea of the attack detection, computers themselves can discover the vulnerabilities and deficiencies of their own systems. Thus the vulnerabilities will be patched up and the security of the system will be improved. We focused our research on designing and realizing the IPv6 network attack platform by designing the overall structure of the platform. Finally, we tested the IPv6 network attack platform. Test results show that the attack effect is remarkable, which plays a role in finding computers’ system vulnerabilities, strengthening security protection and enhancing network security.

In recent years, much research has been devoted to the visualization of 802.11 mesh networks; on the other hand, few have explored the evaluation of Smalltalk. after years of theoretical research into link-level acknowledgements, we demonstrate the understanding of Moore's Law. In this work, we show that even though DNS and DHCP are continuously incompatible, IPv6 and 2 bit architectures are never incompatible.

Multimedia business network architecture is to raise the transmission rate of multimedia information, reduce the delay characteristics of the transmission process, so the multimedia service website can operate fast, reliable. In this paper we use multiple distributed IP technology to design the multimedia business network structure of IPV6. In order to verify the performance of network structure, we use IPerf software to test the performance of IPV6 multimedia business web site, and compare the performance of network under different distributed IP. By contrast, the network transmission speed of the multi distributed IPV6 is highest, delay characteristics are the shortest; and the distributed IPV6 is secondary; the worst is the general distributed IP. The transmission rate is 2.32 M/s; network delay characteristics can reach 232.21 ms, which verifies the important role of distributed IP in the multimedia business site structure. It provides technical support for the study of multimedia network.

The development of public-private key pairs has evaluated congestion control, and current trends suggest that the refinement of B-trees will soon emerge. In our research, we validate the synthesis of public-private key pairs. Our focus in our research is not on whether DNS and Lamport clocks can synchronize to surmount this riddle, but rather on presenting new low-energy configurations (DOOR).

To facilitate research into IPv6 protocol, we propose IPMT in this paper, an IPv6 packet manipulation tool that allows rapid encode and decapsulation of IPv6 frames. IPMT offers capabilities of IPv6 packet manipulation, such as packet encapsulation, packet decapsulation, and packet trace. We mainly focus on IPv6 protocols because most popular network tools that are currently used don't support IPv6. We describe the main features of IPMT and demonstrate how the IPMT programming class enables users to easily develop portable IPv6 packet analysis tools without needing to consider the details of the capture format, file compression or intermediate protocol headers. Unlike other popular network tools, IPMT can almost decode all layers all at once. We divide IPMT into two modules and implement the tool and test the tool in a real test scenario to show that the tool works well. At the same time, we design a versatile way of storing decoding information result. As a result, we conclude that IPMT is a valuable contribution to the passive measurement community that will aid the development of better and more reliable IPv6 analysis and network monitoring tools.

At present, IPv4 addresses are facing depletion and do not meet the requirements of the development of the network.Compared with IPv4 protocol, IPv6 protocol has obvious advantages in technology. The next generation internet research based on IPv6 protocol is a hot research field in campus network, now the IPv4 network is also in urgent need of upgrading to IPv6 network. Introduces the dual stack and tunnel technology to upgrade the campus network, analysis of the present situation of the campus network, and design an upgrading scheme in this paper.

Since the Internet will migrating from IPv4 to IPv6 in the near future. There are many test methods to validate the IPv6 operation environment. Today, most of the IPv6 SNMPv3 test bed is both expensive and location restricted. This paper proposes an improved test method that can provide cloud-based service for the validation of IPv6 SNMPv3 agent. The proposed test architecture consists of two elements: Test broker and Test engine. Test broker as a negotiator between SNMPv3 agent, while Test engine is commissioned to create and manage test operations. Also, Test engine is delegated to perform test methodology on the SNMPv3 agent with IPv6 capabilities. This test service can be used anytime and anywhere to verify the selected IPv6 SNMPv3 agent no matter where it is located in the IPv6 world.

With the development of Internet scale, diversifications of applications and the network virtualization, novel applications emerge, such as search services, stream, social networks, cloud services, e-commerce, big data services and so on. Current Internet cannot afford the diversifying services any more. The network architecture should be improved or a clean slate architecture design is desired. Novel designs of future Internet become a hot topic. IPv6 is the improvement version of IPv4, which solves the address issue of the current Internet, but issues of routing scalability, security, mobility and Quality of Service are still remain. There are two ways to future Internet, improving ones and clean slate designs. The former is based on the current Internet and the latter is novel design without the limitation of the current network architecture. In this paper, we introduce related work of future Internet and summarize the locator/ID separation mechanism, SDN, OpenFlow, NDN and so on. At final, we conclude the paper.

IPv6 has the advanced nature compared with IPv4.The IPv4/IPv6 transition is inevitable to the current network development, but it is impossible to upgrade from IPv4 to IPv6 in short time. The transition is a gradually process. In order to achieve the stable transition, we must select the most suitable strategy according the different time and the different network environment. Introduce several kinds of commonly used transition strategies, Analysis on the evolution of IPv6 and the selection of IPv4/IPv6 transition strategy from both vertical and lateral, and in the paper.

New router design solution optimized to use the IPv6 RA protocol packets is raised to meet the demand of the security of IPv6 intranet without weakening the end-to-end security of IPv6. Source addresses of nodes in IPv6 intranet change dynamically. That helps to hide the nodes addresses and protect the nodes against attack from extranet. No any additional modification is needed on the intranet nodes. Flexibility of administration and security of intranet is improved with this solution.

To reduce the resource consumption in traditional software IPv6 Internet protocols based on embedded system, a data transmission hardware scenario of reduced IPv6 protocol with optimized cache structures based on the FPGA is designed using Verilog HDL. This scenario implements the function of the Transport Layer and the Network Layer on FPGA and uses the function of the Data Link Layer and the Physical Layer on the DM9000A chip, which can perform stateless auto-configuration, address resolution, echo response and UDP transmission. To improve the transmission efficiency, a low-resource-consumption and self-managed cache structure is designed to manage the Neighbor Cache, the Prefix Table and the Default Router Table. In the IPv6 network test, the design can configure itself and its data rate exceeds 28Mbps, which can realize real-time video stream, audio stream and other data transmission in Network of Things applications in IPv6 network.

Vehicle information system is the data center of vehicle communication networks, for the sake of connecting the IPv6 host through IPv4 network area, a virtual network device (VND) in Linux embedded System is designed and implemented as a mid-layer module between the real device driver and internet protocol stack. The VND can establish a virtual tunnel between the vehicle information device and agent server. Both vehicle information device and agent server can support IPv4 and IPv6.Through the virtual tunnel, the agent server picked up the IPv6 packet which was built in IPv4 UDP data area, and transmit the IPv6 packets to the IPv6 remote server. So it works like a VPN device. The hardware platform of the vehicle gateway is based on ARM9, and the software is based on ARM-Linux. The instruction of hardware and software are as well as put forward.

Now IPv6 has been considered as one of the core standards for the next generation Internet Protocol. The network behavior and attack are quite different in IPv6 environment because of the difference between IPv4 and IPv6 Protocol. The increasing expansion of network scale and the exponential growth of network application are urging the research that a firewall for IPv6 environment should be deployed and implemented. This paper studies Netfilter architecture in detail, and explores the Shorewall6 firewall source codes. Furthermore, an IPv6 firewall based on Netfilter is implemented by modifying the Shorewall6 firewall source codes and adding some iptables rules according to the application environment. The implemented IPv6 firewall based on Netfilter makes it convenient for administrators to simplify IPv6 network administration tasks and has furthered the development of IPv6 firewall to some extent.

The current Internet addressing systems no longer adapt to the addressing mechanism of next generation network. This paper designed a Port Layer which was consist of Application Platform Interface Module, Resources Information Processing Module and Subnet Access Adapter Module to realize the connection of resource and the integration network of IPv6. The Port Layer addressing mechanism encoded resource in variable length with mixed classification, extended resource coding to 64-bit as the interface ID in the IPv6 address by automatically distributing the extension prefix, which is aim to supply dynamic addressing for mobile resource. This mechanism provides the theoretic foundation for the connection of the cyber world, the physical world and the cognition world.

According to the RFC5210 standard SAVA architecture, This paper designed a certification program within the source address based on MAC address of IPv6.Use the OPNET Simulation the network performance (server delay and load) under normal state and dos attack state .The results show that the program could be effective in preventing a single degree of autonomy within the source address spoofing, and improve network stability.

According to the actual situation of large range road disasters in seasonal frozen area, the road safety can reflect by the slope stability, the subgrade stability, the bridge safety and the ice(snow) on the road.The objective of this paper is to present a new monitoring and early-warning system, which can be used on the large range road in seasonal frozen area. The system consists of four parts, which are slope monitoring system, subgrade monitoring system, bridge monitoring system and ice(snow) monitoring system. In this system, the small world theory is used to build an IPv6 p2p network structure and semi-structured data is used to store any type of early-warning data. In addition, a bridge in western Changchun City in Jilin Province was selected as the case study example. Monitoring and early-warning results show that the system is stable and efficient , also can improve the scalability and reduce the dependence on central server in IPv6 network.

The paper analyzes the principle and key technique of IPSec protocol, researches the security policy and processing flow of IPSec, presents the design ideal and implementation scheme of IPSec based on embedded Linux Operation System. The realization of IPSec mainly consists of five modules. In addition, every module function is discussed in detail.

Combined the characteristics of IEEE 802.15.4 standard and the IPv6 protocol, the paper designs a set of 6LoWPAN protocol stack software on single-MCU based on CC2430. This set of protocol stack is designed for industrial applications. This paper completes the fragmentation and reassembly, header compression and other basic functions of 6LoWPAN. Finally, with the typical application of industrial equipments, we build a practical test system to test the data communications of the 6LoWPAN protocol stack. And, it verifies the correctness and practicability of 6LoWPAN protocol.

IP is the primary protocol that establishes the Internet; it is responsible for routing packets across network. IPv4 is the first version of the protocol to be widely deployed. IPv4 uses 4 bytes addresses, which limits the address space to more than 4 billion possible unique addresses. All of network devices construct on the IPv4. While the Internet widely deployed and used. IP addresses are being incrementally delegated to end users, an IPv4 address shortage has been developing. IPv4 addresses were insufficient for the Internet. IPv6 provide 2128 address and provide sufficient IPs for the Internet. But now the software and devices are only supporting IPv4. In this paper, we developed a new UTM appliance. The proposed system considers the integration of IPv4 network and IPv6 network in the Internet.

With the rapid development of the internet and wireless mobile communication technology, more and more users make use of mobile terminal to access to the internet. Wireless mobile accessing technology combined with IPv6 protocol have been the present research hotspots. In this paper we analyzed the layered switching based on mobile IPv6 protocol, and compared its performance of technology. At last, corresponding conclusion is given, combining with the practical application.

In recent years, much research has been devoted to the refinement of IPv6; on the other hand, few have investigated the confusing unification of interrupts and Internet QoS. In this position paper, it demonstrates the emulation of interrupts. In order to overcome this quagmire, a novel system is presented for the intuitive unification of expert systems and massive multiplayer online role-playing games. It is concluded that erasure coding can be verified to make heterogeneous, interposable, and event-driven, which is proved to be applicable.

This paper designs and implements IPv6 protocol in WebitOS, an embedded real-time OS which is a self-owned intellectual property of Lab. of Embedded Technology, Northeastern University, China. WebitOS is developed on processor of ATmega128 MCU, and is designed to be a configurable embedded operating system and all of its function modules must be published in the form of software component. So the IPv6 module is designed to be in the form of software component too, and to be a co-existing module with IPv4 module. Then, the design of IPv6 header, IPv6 extend header, ICMPv6 header, IPv6 input process and output process, error message echo request and echo reply, neighbor solicitation and neighbor advertisement are fully implemented, respectively. Under the limited resource environment, IP address exhaustive problem is solved by the implementation of IPv6. Besides, the performance analyses between IPv6 and IPv4 are performed through some experiments.
