To investigate the macroscopic mechanical properties of undisturbed structural Xiashu loess in the lower reaches of China’s Yangtze River under triaxial compression, and obtain the intrinsic explanations for the macroscopic mechanical properties from the microscopic point of view, in laboratory, triaxial compression tests were carried out, microstructure images of sheared samples were collected by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and quantitative parameters of microstructure (mainly about particle or pore size, distribution, and alignment) were extracted by digital image processing technique. Based on the test results, the deviator stress-strain relationships of both undisturbed and remoulded Xiashu loess, the structural strength, and the microstructural evolution mechanism about the formation of shear failure zone of Xiashu loess under triaxial compression were analyzed.

This paper presents conducted field tests of cyclic loading for railway subgrade. These tests studied the influences of subgrade structure forms of embankment and cutting on the dynamic responses of railway subgrade. The considered dynamic responses included the distribution of dynamic stress in railway subgrade, and the elastic deformation, dynamic stiffness, and cumulative plastic deformation on subgrade surface. The number of cyclic loading in testing was separately about two millions for an embankment and a cutting. The dynamic deviator stress applied on subgrade surface was 92kPa to simulate the maximum stress induced by moving train for the designed railway. Gathered data showed that the dynamic stiffness on subgrade surface for a cutting was approximately a half of the one for an embankment. However, the cumulative plastic deformation was essentially the same for the two forms of subgrade (i.e. the embankment and the cutting). These results provide references for the design of railway subgrade.

In this paper a finite element analysis (FEA) of machining for AISI1045 is presented. In particular, the thermodynamical constitutive equation (T-C-E) in FEA is applied for both workpiece material and tool material. Cutting temperature and tool wear depth are predicted. The comparison between the predicted and experimental cutting temperature and tool wear depth are presented and discussed. The results indicated that a good prediction accuracy of both principal cutting temperature and tool wear depth can be achieved by the method of FEA with thermodynamical constitutive equation.

Under pseudo-periodic strain, the thermo-effect plays an important role in the fatigue fracture of material. How to construct the related mechanics model is a practical issue. For simple bending of iron wire under pseudo-periodic, based on local rotation concept, the deformation is described by the local rotation angle. Then, the related motion equations are used to obtain the theoretical form of life-strain rate relation. The results show that: (1) The local rotation angle rate can represent thermo-effects well; (2) The fatigue fracture is nucleated at the position of maximum local rotation angle; (3) The intrinsic mechanism of fatigue fracture of the material is the local rotation.

Ferric hydrosulfate minerals are commonly byproducts of biotic oxidation of Fe (II) in acid mine drainage and biohydrometallurgy like biogenic jarosite. In this study, adsorption of Cr (VI) on jarosite was a rapid process and the optimum pH for Cr (VI) adsorption was found at 7.0. The variation of Cr (VI) adsorbed on jarosite fitted the Langmuir adsorption isotherm models and the maximum adsorption capacity was 3.23 mg/g. It was evident that anion exchange mechanism was responsible for Cr (VI) adsorption on jarosite based on the sulfate leaching data and optimum pH experiments.

This paper establishes an integrated platform by coupling SWAT model and RegCM3 model which is used in the lancing-Mekong river. Based on the integrated platform, the author quantitatively studies the impact of the climate change and reservoir operation on the runoff of lower reaches of the Lancing-Mekong river in different scenarios. The results show that: In the next twenty years, both of climate change and reservoir operation will lead to a drop of the runoff. Of all the factors of Lancang-Mekong river runoff decrease, reservoir operation contributes to 12% and climate change 88%, so the major cause of the change of the runoff is climate change. In the impact factors of climate change, the contribution rate of temperature change accounts for 81% and precipitation change 19%. The author thinks that the most important influence factor of the lower reaches of the Lancang-Mekong river runoff is temperature change.

Background subtraction, where the foreground is segmented from the background, is the first step of data analysis and processing in automated visual surveillance. Aiming to solve the problems associated with dynamic, multi-modal background, we explore a new approach which can handle the unconstrained environment. Based on multiclass support vector machines, a new MSVM is proposed for the classification of the background and the foreground. The simulation indicates our proposed algorithm is feasible.

The harmonious degree is an essential factor evaluating the coordinative development of economy and society. It’s a typical multi-criteria evaluation problem to access the degree. For the vagueness and uncertainty of assessing information, an evaluation model using intuitionistic fuzzy set is proposed in this paper to assess regional economic and social harmonious degree objectively. In the model, the initial weight is set by intuitionistic fuzzy entropy, the correction weight is set according to the common people’s preference of subjective emotion, Thus the combination weight is get by merging the above two weights. And the assessing score is calculated by weighted aggregation operator integrating the assessing information. Finally, an example assessing the harmonious degree of five cities in Pearl River Delta of China shows the effectiveness of the model.

The millimeter-wave terminal guidance ammunition monitoring scanning field is small. The modified design is in order to improve the search section trajectory guidance. This study established seeker search area to capture the target model, which leads to the missile engine unpowered glide distance formula after flameout. At the millimeter-wave terminal on the missiles contraction section ballistic. Each missile is designed for the flat road, the swash decline ballistic programs. Flat missile road program scans and does not shrink. Its flight speed falls and declines rapidly, has different gliding distance and terminal velocity. After the missile engine is flameout, its start-gliding speed is great. Ramp fell ballistic program enhances the air-air (or air-ground) guided missile’s gliding ability, helping to improve range. But shortcomings are that target tracking scanning domain contracts. Using the seeker optical axis in the pitch direction can achieve accurate positioning with the height precession. Two ballistic designs can both meet the target seeker’s scanning, thus effectively improve the striking precision.

Security is the main direction of ammunition for future development. Depending on the security level that ammunition relative to its life process may suffer major environmental stimuli factors, raising ammunition’s safety criterion, introducing safety parameters, establishing a theoretical model of ammunition safety performance evaluation. In the model, based on the value of the safety of ammunition, we divides the security level of ammunition. Based on this evaluation model to calculate the conventional bomb safety performance of the changing Mk-82’s insensitivity. We analyzed the influence of unexploded ordnance (UXO) on the overall safety performance of ammunition from the failure of the design. The results show that the end of unexploded failure design can significantly improve the safety level of ammunition. This model better reflects the inherent safety performance of ammunition, can provide theoretical guidance for the safety design of ammunition and safety performance evaluation.

Based on the analysis of traditional electric energy metering cubicle, there are still a lot of disadvantages in operation. This paper presents a new type of electric energy metering cubicle. The composite intelligent terminal wiring device, intelligent locking device and image monitoring equipment are applied to the traditional standard electric energy metering cubicle. It is suggested that the new electric energy metering cubicle can effectively ensure the safety of the staff, prevent power loss caused by incorrect wiring and avoid electricity theft.

White light measurement is increasingly applied in automotive sheet metal parts measurement nowadays. Although white light measurement has substantially improved the measuring efficiency, this method has a low precision and poor reproducibility at present stage. This paper firstly analyses the process of white light measurement, then uses DMAIC Method to establish a unified measuring standard for white light measurement, in order to improve the precision and reproducibility of this method and promote the equipment utilization.

In this study, the supportable maximum GDP/ population and the water poverty status were analyzed using the dual indices calculation model and the water poverty index in the Ecological Economic Zone of Dongting Lake in the different planning level years. The results showed that the supportable maximum GDP and population keep on increasing in the Ecological Economic Zone of Dongting Lake in the planning level years, and that in the Yueyang, Changde and Yiyang was the three maximum. On the other hands, the water poverty status in the Ecological Economic Zone of Dongting Lake was improved in the planning level years since the water conservancy project construction, the incremental water supply and the pollutants abatement. Aimed at ultra-low permeability reservoir, the large natural outcrop model has been made for researching the oil reservoirs porous flow law deeply, and the inverted nine-spot equilateral well pattern also has been designed which is the commonest well patter during the oilfield exploitation. The flow fields have been measured during the experiment in different displacing period (0.3PV, 0.6PV and 1PV). The research shows that fluid flow has obvious directivity, and it strongly affected by heterogeneity of the reservoir. In addition, the regions between the edge production wells are much more difficult to be exploited.

A novel series of brush-like amphiphilic statistical tripolymers were designed and prepared by polymerization of amphiphilic macromonomer 2-(acrylamido)-dodecane sulfonic acid (AMC12S, 10 to 90 mol %), with hindrance units sodium p-styrenesulfonate (SSS, 0 to 5 mol %), and 2-(acrylamido)- 2-methylpro-panesulfonic acid (AMPS). The self-assembly behaviors of these tripolymers were investigated using steady-state fluorescence, and the increase of amphiphilic units results in a decrease of microdomain polarity and polymer concentrations for assembly, while the increase of hindrance units leads little change of microdomain polarity.

The dynamic hydraulic drawing simulation is a valid method that reduces costs, increases quality and discovers hydraulic forming process problems.The simulation process of hydraulic drawing for spiral bottom brake shell parts with space surface feature was investigated and the optimal processing parameters were acquired by using Dynaform software. The results showed that model approaches, model methods, meshing and parameters setting were the foundation of hydraulic drawing simulation and the optimized control of holder force and fluid pressure were the key factors for preventing defects during hydraulic deep drawing. Meanwhile, the suitable blank shape was found good for reducing the defects of Wall Thickness Unevenness and oral flange earing, etc.

Researching the design process of scientific research management information system of Jiangmen polytechnic. According to the characteristics of the scientific research management in colleges and universities, the system is developing by using the B/S application model and the advanced .NET framework. The system consists of teachers management module, faculty-level management module, and library management module, scientific research department management module, system management module and public management module. Aim at the application maintenance and security, the system uses three-tier architecture, authorize to the management mechanism, data encryption and software separation and other security measures. The system has realized the classification audit of scientific research information and the dynamic management of the research integral reports. The using results show that the system is not only stable, but also easy to operate, and it also greatly improves the accuracy and efficiency of the scientific research management.

The drought turns more serious in recent years, and it lacked an appropriate system to assess the regional meteorological drought. The paper took Weihe basin for example, completed the regional meteorological drought assessment by four steps. They were the drought evaluation units division, the drought index selection and calculation based on RDI (reconnaissance drought index), the drought identification and the drought characteristic values analysis based on the correlation coefficient and the copulas connect joint distribution function analysis. It discussed the interrelationship of the regional drought characteristics of area, duration, severity and frequency, and formed a relatively complete regional meteorological drought assessment system.

A numerical study of premixed propane/air flame propagation in a closed duct is presented. A dynamically thickened flame (TF) method is applied to model the premixed combustion. The reaction of propane in air is taken into account using a single-step global Arrhenius kinetics. It is shown that the premixed flame undergoes four stages of dynamics in the propagation. The formation of tulip flame phenomenon is observed. The pressure during the combustion process grows exponentially at the finger-shape flame stage and then slows down until the formation of tulip shape. After tulip formation the pressure increases quickly again with the increase of the flame surface area. The vortex motion behind the flame front advects the flame into tulip shape. The study indicates that the TF model is quite reliable for the investigation of premixed propane/air flame propagation.

Software requirements validation is one of the hot problems of software engineering field, for the formal verification of software acceptability, this paper presents a formal verification software acceptability method. This method uses the 4-variable model to character the software system requirements and the software behavior, and gives a formal description of the 4-variable model based on the generic model of Tabular expression, and converts the Tabular expression into predicate logic knowledge base to verify the software acceptability. The analysis shows that the proposed method is effective, and the software acceptability can be verified.

In this paper, ZnO photocatalyst was prepared by sol-gel method with the assistance of ionic liquid (IL). The structure, morphology and the photoinduced charge separation rate of the photocatalyst prepared (IL-ZnO) were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and surface photovoltage spectroscopy (SPS), respectively. The results reveal that ionic liquid enhances the photoinduced charge separation rate. The activity of ZnO for photocatalytic decolorization of methyl orange (MO) solution was evaluated. The results show that the photocatalytic activity of IL-ZnO is higher than that of ZnO.

2.5-Dimension hollow silica fiber reinforced nitride (2.5D HSFRN) composites were fabricated by repeated infiltration and pyrolysis from hybrid polyborosilazane precursor. The effects of precursor infiltration and pyrolysis (PIP) cycles on densification behavior, mechanical properties, dielectric properties, and microstructures of the composites were investigated. With increasing PIP cycles, the density of 2.5D HSFRN composites increases, the mechanical properties increase accordingly, however, the dielectric properties decrease. The composites prepared after three PIP cycles, which have moderate flexural strength of 77.4MPa and elastic modulus of 20.7GPa, low dielectric constant of 2.98 and loss angle tangent of 3.9×10-3, exhibit suitable mechanical and dielectric properties. The calculation results of dielectric performance show that 2.5D HSFRN composites have good broadband wave-transparent properties, which result from high purity hollow silica fibers with excellent dielectric properties and low density nitride matrix.

Antibiotics are used in large amounts as human and veterinary medicine. Due to their use pattern, they possess a potential for reaching the water environment. In recent years great amount of evidence showed that tetracycline antibiotics were frequently detected in aquatic environment. In this paper, the literature on adsorption of tetracyclines (TCs) were reviewed and summarized. Adsorption kinetics, adsorption isotherm, and adsorption mechanism were discussed. The pseudo-second-order kinetics model fit the experimental data best in most cases of adsorption of TCs. Sorption of TCs followed Freundlich or Langmuir isotherm well in all cases. At last, main adsorption mechanisms such as cation exchange, cation bridging at surfaces, surface complexation, and hydrogen bonding could be suggested based on analysis by XRD, FTIR, NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, etc.

The individual combat positioning system mentioned in this paper can track individual effectively and protect his safety. The system consists of a number of portable terminals and a base station. The portable terminals collect the positioning information of individual and keep communicating with the base station. The base station queries the terminal location information and display the location of individual on the map real-time.

Aiming at the field live detection of the electric energy meter, the research on the new structure and the charged detection method of the terminal boxes were carried out. The results can be directly applied to the charged detection of the electric energy metering device, which can improve work efficiency and security. It has great significance to ensure that the electric energy metering device of the power system can operate safely, stably and economically.

The article points out that it is necessary to apply condition evaluation and condition test to the electric energy metering equipment, based on the actual working condition of electric energy metering equipment. Then, the data of voltage, current, power, frequency, temperature, humidity and so on, are collected by the condition detection equipment of the electric energy metering equipment. Coupling with the errors come from the standard meter and the periodic test on the spot, this article takes the suitable data as parameters, and synthetically evaluates the influence of complicated grid operating environment on accuracy and reliability of energy metering equipment. The criteria which reflect the condition value of the electric energy metering equipment are analyzed to determine the weight of each criterion, to establish the condition evaluation criterion, and to form the condition evaluation system. According to the state evaluation results, different inspection strategies are proposed.

When putting a gas cylinder on the light path of a Michelson interferometer, the changes of the cylinder's gas pressure will make a difference to the optical path of the two beams of light, which finally changes the number of the interference fringes. Based on the principles above, a new method was forward a to measure gas's refractive index in this research. First, use a linear CCD (Charge Coupled Device) as photoelectric sensor to capture light signal, then, turn the electrical signal from photoelectric sensor into digital signal, which would later be transferred to microcomputer through USB interface. Finally, figure out the gas's refractive index in real-time using microcomputer.

Based on a test of wind carried sand roadbed in the west bank of Qinghai Lake, Rayleigh wave method is introduced to measure roadbed compactness of the specific soil in China, and analysis is conducted to find correlation of Rayleigh wave velocity (VR) vs. the blow count (N10) of dynamic cone penetration, then a regression formula is presented.

The existing transportation service system in public travel route can not satisfy the people's actual travel need because of various technologies reasons. In our study, we set the tourist attractions as a vertex, and simplified the traditional algorithm for complex network computing. Aim to use the advantage of Dijkstra algorithm, the Dijkstra algorithm was applied to tourism path search. The experimental results have illustrated that the Dijkstra algorithm can accomplish a good result in search efficiency.

On the basis of the study of green surfactant alkyl polyglucoside that was synthesized from starch or glucose and fatty alcohol by direct method, the reaction mechanism was discussed and the macroscopic reaction kinetics model was proposed and established. The kinetics model between the concentration of glucose(CA) and reaction time (t) was as follows: ln(CA—0.00025) = —(Kt+2.08). The method of establishing kinetics model can be popularized to the kinetic study of other alkyl polyglucoside.

When adopting the air-liquid and air-liquid-mechanical composite transmission technology, the comparative advantages of various transmission techniques can be played, while their shortcomings can be avoided. The efficient fixture and press with double-station based on these composite transmission technology are introduced, and their working principles and mechanical formulas are given out. The innovative design of the fixture and press with double station can achieve the two station order-processing operations when only using one drive cylinder, which have high efficiency, the large output force, and will not pollute the environment.

Model Carrying Code(MCC) provides a way to safe execution of untrusted code by taking both mobile code producer and consumers into consideration, where it checks mobile code security by comparing security related program behavior model with security policies. In this paper an enumeration based algorithm to checking security related behavior with respect to security policy has been given, where security behavior has been modeled as extended context free grammar and the security policy has been specified as extended FSA. Solutions to dealing with loops and recursions have been introduced. A program has been developed for implementing the algorithm, and several experiments have been done. It has been indicated that our algorithm can effectively check small scale security behavior models on the basis of simple security policies.

By summarizing the landscape design situation at present in China and overseas, this paper analyzes the problems and defects existed in the Chinese highway landscape design. The compensation design method of highway landscape is put forward, which contains the road side slop, the central dividing strip, the intercommunication grade separation and the service area.

In the paper, the thermo-properties of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR)/epoxy resin(E51) composites through reactive blending method were studied by DSC. The experimental results showed that, when the amount of E51 in UPR/E51 composites reached to 2wt%, the mixture take place glass transition at 84°C which higher than that of pure UPR 15%. When the amount of E51 reached to 10wt%, the mixture take place two glass transition at 59°C、104°C respectively. The morphologies of the mixtures were investigated by SEM, and the curing process of UPR/E51 was traced and investigated by FTIR.
