Informal learning is an important part of active learning in higher education. It is of great significance to create a good informal learning space for higher education. However, the current design of university buildings is lack of quality informal learning space. This paper analyzes the relationship between complex network analysis and student behavior, and finds that there exists a close relationship between them. The spatial structure has the essential impact on the distribution of the informal learning. The construction of streamline system places an important role in the formation of learning space network. The density of the network relationship is not a key factor, but the relationship model presents more important. The cohesion of network plays an important role in the formation of spatial network of learning. In the network structure, since the groups with cohesion power are capable to convey the information even faster, the regeneration inside the groups can be achieved through the flow of resource/information.

As the most widespread applied structure model since Modernism, Dom-ino Structure is rooted deeply in the sub-conscious of many architects, which in some sense constrains their ability to shape it. Transformation strategies for Dom-ino Structure try to change a hard, homogeneous and rigid model into a soft, flexible, and changeable form. By analyzing the inner property of Dom-ino Structure, this article firstly specifies the orientation of probable transformations. Then, after categorizing cases with integrated architectural form and structure, this article describes three ways of transforming of Dom-ino Structure, including material replacement, geomorphing and mechanics remodeling. These three ways are mutually dependent with a prolongable method system for the innovation of architectural and structural form. This research on the transformation of an existing structural model, presented from the architect’s point of view, is based on Morphological perspective. This research could facilitate the integration of architecture and structure, clarify the inner relations between different structural types, improve the weaknesses of existing structure model while expanding the diversity of architecture forms. It also gives a significant picture of how inspiring the process of collaboration between the architect and the engineer can be.

High quality (200) and (111) orientations cubic MgZnO thin films were made on (200) and (111) orientations MgO substrates separately under different condition with higher and lower migration energy of reactive atoms separately. The crystal quality of (111) orientation MgZnO thin film is higher than (200) one because of the stronger horizontal migration of atoms on (111) surface under high temperature condition, the surface of (200) orientation MgZnO thin film is smoother than (111) orientation one because of lower vertical growth speed of (200) MgZnO grains. The band gap of (111) orientation MgZnO thin film is smaller than (200) one because of more Zn atoms in (111) orientation MgZnO lattice than that in (200) ones. This paper gives an effective method to improve crystal quality of different orientation MgZnO thin film under different condition, which is meaningful in application of cubic MgZnO in different areas.

Codeine (3-methylmorphine) is an opiate that is widely used to treat mild or moderate pain and cough suppression. It is the second predominant alkaloid in opium with a mild sedative effect. In the present study, we describe an electrochemical sensor for codeine detection by using the DNA aptamers against codeine. In the sensing protocol, a dually-labeled DNA aptamer probe was designed to be labeled at one end with HS, and at its another end with dabcyl as an electrochemical tag to produce electrochemical signal via recognization occurrence. One special electrochemical marker was prepared by modifying ZnS nanoparticle with-cyclodextrins (ab. ZnS-CDs), which employed as electrochemical signal provider and would conjunct with the codeine probe modified electrode through the host–guest recognition of CDs to dabcyl. With codeine adding, aptamer folding allows the ZnS-CDs into soultion that caused an increase of current signal. This sensor has the ability to detect 37pM codeine. Our study demonstrates that the biosensor has good specificity and stability. It can be used to detect codeine.

A numerical simulation research was carried out on vortex and sound pressure level of the butterfly valve in the flow process based on FLUENT, which analyzed the variation of the vorticity and sound pressure level at different opening angles. There was an inverse pressure gradient in the orifice formed by the butterfly plate and pipe, which caused partial particle reflux on the back of butterfly plate in flowing, thus formed the vortex. The vortex formed on the back of the butterfly plate was decreased gradually, with the increasing opening angle of the valve in opening process. The noise was generated by the vortex separated and rupture in flowing. And the sound pressure level on the back of butterfly plate was decreased with the increasing opening angle. At the same time, the vorticity and the maximum sound pressure level position moved from the center to the rotation center of butterfly plate in opening process. The expanding orifice formed by butterfly plate upstream and the pipe and the tapered orifice formed by butterfly plate downstream and the pipe had the different throttling action to the fluid, which made the sound pressure level of upstream was higher than that of downstream in symmetrical position. The vortex generated by the separation of boundary layer would cause vortex excited vibration between plate and fluid, and then resonance occurred. The studies were carried out in the vorticity and the sound pressure level on the downstream of butterfly plate, and the changing law of those was found. It would provide a basis theory for reducing noise and avoiding vortex vibration of butterfly valve.

Multilayer cutting is widely used in finish machining process of thin-walled parts to improve the machining precision. The paper presents a cutting allowance optimization method using genetic algorithm to improve the machining quality and efficiency of thin-walled parts in the field of aerospace. Considering the coupling relationship of the deformation between the layers in layered milling, the parameterized finite element model of thin-walled parts in side milling process is established. The best relationship between the workpiece stiffness and the cutting force is determined though iterative calculations, and the deformation caused by the cutting force can be minimized. The results show that the optimized distribution of the depth of finishing cutting was better than the experience. The method proposed in this paper can reduce the deformation of the workpiece during the machining process, and thus improve the machining accuracy.

The electric breakdown voltage (Vbd) is a fundamental performance index for insulation thin film in MEMS, and plays a dominant role for the operation reliability of this kind of devices. In this work, positive polyimide (PI) photoresist was used to prepare thin films by spin-coating and thermal imidization. Electric breakdown experiments were carried out under DC voltage mode. The effect of imidization temperature on Vbd was also studied by setting three different imidization temperature profiles. XRD was applied to test the composition and microstructure of the PI thin films. Results show that the imidization degree of the PI thin film will be increased with the raising of the imidization temperature from 280 to 350°C. This means that a more completed imidization process can be achieved in the PI thin film by using higher imidization temperature. The highest Vbd of about 2740V and an average Vbd of 343kV/mm can be achieved on a 8.5μm thick PI thin film imidized at 350°C.

Fault location is an effective way to ensure quickly power recovery after a failure in power distribution system. Bad operation environment of FTU, damaged elements or lost information usually cause variations in fault information for correlation analysis in fault location of power distribution system. A data mining (DM) correlation analysis model based on rough sets (RS) theory and immune algorithm (IA) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, using RS theory to extract domain knowledge, a set of the given variant fault pattern is converted into a decision table in RS. Secondly, an attribute reduction of the decision table is made by using the IA theory, and the intrinsic correlation rules between input vector (condition attribute) and output vector (decision attribute) are mined. Then, the data mining method is used to deal with the distortion of FTU real-time input information. According to the current limit information sequence of section switches, line fault states in each section are judged to realize the fault location in power distribution network. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the fault location model of distribution network based on RS-IA data mining model is verified by simulation.

By using different annealing processes to anneal the pressure-measuring cylindrical copper cylinder, playing some static experiments on different copper cylinders, the difference of pressure measuring performance of copper cylinder was analyzed. Results show that, by using current annealing processes all can achieve the purpose of full softening the material of the copper cylinder and the deformation of copper is not significantly affected by the different temperatures. Some copper cylinders which use short holding time have poor linear sensitivity, but their measurement deviation is better than those which use longer holding time. So, in the actual production of copper, we should use shorter annealing time to improve their measuring accuracy.

This study aims to find out the optimum extraction time varied from 5 min to 60 min for extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) from sewage sludge pretreated at 80 °C. The change of the contents of EPS and its components under different time limit were recorded and compared. The results showed: the contents of soluble protein, TOC, soluble sugar and DNA was increased by 579.17 mg/l, 514.25 mg/l, 132.79 mg/l, and 34.69 mg/l, respectively, with the increase of thermal pre-treatment time during the process, and the DNA content increased the least, which indicating that the effect of thermal pre-treatment at 80 °C on cell lysis of sewage sludge was small. The EPS content, as a whole, was increased with the increase of thermal pre-treatment time. By analyzing the experimental data with the Analytic Hierarchy Process Model, which was used to identify the optimum thermal pre-treatment time of extracting EPS, the results showed that the effectiveness of EPS extraction from sludges was 30 min>60 min>50 min>20 min>40 min>10 min>5 min. Therefore, the 30 min was choosed as the optimum thermal pre-treatment time.

This work demonstrates a simple method to improve the conductivity of flexography printed silver pattern by water washing. The flexography printed silver pattern was firstly dried in an oven under 120 celsius degree, then was placed into the deionized water. Heating post-treatment is used to enhance adhesion between the printed silver layer and the substrate film to prevent the detachment of the silver pattern during water washing. The method is compatible with the PET substrate and printed fine pattern of square and hexagon in room temperature. After 2 hour immersion in water under magnetic stirring, the printed silver pattern of square and hexagon show different conductive improvement of conductivity. The silver pattern of hexagon shape with water washing exhibits much better conductivity than the one wiped by lens wipe paper, as measured by using a multimeter. The confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) shows that the morphology of the two shapes of silver pattern was almost no changed, except a little decrease on the thickness of the silver layer.

In the process of shell design of a 100kW single screw expander, the fundamental research on the screw chamber walls thickness is still lacking. Thin wall may cause deformation and the damage possibility of the inlet passage. Thick wall will increase the weight of the expander and led to assembly problem and transportation inconvenience. In this paper, static finite element analysis on cast shell of the 100 kW single screw expander was carried out. By calculating stress distribution and deformation of the expander shell under 1.5 times of the design pressure, the authors find the thickness of gate rotor chamber walls and inlet passage walls as 15 mm is acceptable, but the thickness of screw chamber walls should be at least 35 mm.

For the complexity and nonlinearity of the input characteristics in network intrusion detection system, a feature extraction method for network intrusion detection based on RS-KPCA is studied. Firstly, the Rough Set (RS) theory is used to select the valuable features, while the unnecessary features are removed. Then, the features of the intrusion detection sample data are extracted by the kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) algorithm. The number of new features is determined by the cumulative contribution rate. Simulation results show that this method can effectively remove the interference features, and has the advantages of obvious principal component feature and concentrated contribution rate, compared with PCA. Overall, the proposed method can effectively integrate the nonlinear features of the original data, reduce the dimension, and improve the intrusion detection performance.

In this paper, we researched the analysis methods of composite structure from a quantitative point of view. Based on reasonable assumptions, the research contents of the upper and lower repair tolerance were pointed. It was proposed that the remaining strength of damaged structural components should be used as the parameter index to analyze the lower repair tolerance, meanwhile calculating the parameter via the model of stress and interference. We could then confirm the conclusion by contrasting the references. To analyze the upper repair tolerance, we considered mainly technical level and economical efficiency, from which the upper limit could be ascertained.

Sideslip angle and yaw rate can reflect the essential characteristics of the vehicle steering motion in steer by wire system, and determine the stability of the vehicle, sideslip angle is generally obtained through observation. In order to enhance the stability of the vehicle, hybrid observation method for side slip angle is used, in which dynamic integration is mainly used when the raw rate is relatively small, and extended kalman filtering is mainly used when the raw rate is large. In the observer design, the value and change rate of raw rate is used to calculate a weight coefficient to determine the proportion of two observation method in the observer. The simulation results show that the method can efficiently decrease the observation error of the side slip and improve the observation accuracy.

Experiments on U75V rail steel were carried out to investigate the cyclic feature, ratcheting behavior and low-cycle fatigue under both strain- and stress-controlled loadings at room temperature. It was found that U75V rail steel shows strain amplitude dependent cyclic softening feature, i.e., the responded stress amplitude under strain-controlled decreases with the increasing number of cycles and reaches a stable value after about 20th cycle. Ratcheting strain increases with an increasing stress amplitude and mean stress, except for stress ratio, and the ratcheting strain in failure also increases with an increasing stress amplitude, mean stress and stress ratio. The low-cycle fatigue lives under cyclic straining decrease linearly with an increasing strain amplitude, the fatigue lives under cyclic stressing decrease with an increasing mean stress except for zero mean stress, and decrease with an increasing stress amplitude. Ratcheting behavior with a high mean stress reduces fatigue life of rail steel by comparing fatigue lives under stress cycling with those under strain cycling. Research findings are helpful to evaluate fatigue life of U75V rail steel in the railways with passenger and freight traffic.
