This paper compares three common installation ways of swing arm and carries out simulation analysis by using Adams software. The research results show that when using intercrossed enwinding wirerope, the swing arm will bear alternating load and the load variation range is huge, load G’ will change obviously and bring great impact on system control precision. When using along enwinding wirerope, the swing arm’s load is slightly bigger than wirerope tension and the load variation range is very small, load G’ will be static and it’s easy to get high control precision. By reducing the length of lower swing arm, increasing the length of upper swing arm and the offset distance, its working condition can be improved when using intercrossed enwinding wirerope.

To meet the demand for long-endurance capabilities,MALE (medium-altitude long-endurance) and HALE (high-altitude long-endurance) UAVs are generally equipped with wing tanks to increase fuel loads. MALE and HALE UAVs use relatively larger aspect ratio wing to provide larger wing area and smaller wing thickness, so that the relative thickness of wing tank is smaller and its center of gravity is further away from the aircraft center of gravity, and the moment of inertia is greater. As a result of aerodynamic and structural arrangement, the horizontal and vertical manipulation of safety control and balance of such UAVs is very sensitive, thus making ​​higher demand for the fuel system. This paper describes and summarizes the typical fuel system design of MALE and HALE UAVs for fuel transfer and restructuring design, primarily focusing on fault condition, reconfiguration and the center of gravity control, and providing reference for fuel system design.

Establishing the evaluation index system, from their own investment capacity, corporate external financing capacity of the two dimensions, using resultant weights and TOPSIS method for comprehensive evaluation of investment capacity of the power enterprises. Set a power company for example, results show that, the evaluation results are in line with the actual investment capacity situation of the power enterprises, the established evaluation index system and evaluation model has better applicability.

An improved new damper was presented. The mechanical properties of the damper were conducted by the numerical simulation method under the cyclic loading. Also, the seismic mitigation effectiveness of the damper was verified though Time History Analysis. The results show that the improved damper has good hysteretic behavior. It can significantly reduce structural displacement response. Furthermore, the seismic performance of Masonry Buildings with Frame at the Bottom was studied by equipped the improved damper. The control effect was compared with Masonry Buildings with Frame at the Bottom and Masonry Buildings with Two-story Frame at the Bottom.

Anchorage location selection is one of important factors concerning the safety of vessel in the Yangtze river. On the basis of the characteristics of the inland ports and channels, this paper fully considers the safety of anchoring vessels, the surrounding facilities and the vessels sailing nearby, refines the influence factors of anchorage location selection in the Yangtze river, analyses the influence factors individually, evaluates comprehensively influence factors of the Yangtze river anchorage location selection by using the multi-objective optimization method, constructs the Yangtze river anchorage location selection comprehensive evaluation model, and gives an example of anchorage location selection in Ezhou port as application instance. The establishment of the model enriches the theory related to inland river anchorage, provides theoretical guidance for the Yangtze river anchorage location selection.

Benzyl alcohol was selectively oxidized to benzaldehyde with iron (III) complexed to tetra amido macrocyclic ligands (FeIII–TAML) as catalyst and 30% H2O2 as oxidant. The effect of reaction temperature, reaction time, solvent, amount of catalyst and oxidant on the reaction of catalyzed oxidation of benzyl alcohol were explored. The conversion and selectivity of this oxidation reaction were calculated from calibrated GC yields of benzyl alcohol and benzaldehyde. When oxidation reaction was conducted under the conditions: solvent NMMO: ethanol = 1: 1, n (H2O2): n (benzyl alcohol) = 2, n (catalyst): n (benzyl alcohol) = 1%, temperature 80 ̊C and reaction time 60 minutes, the conversion was 91.23% and the selectivity was 90.12%.

In this paper, manage equipment data using a combination of HDFS file system and HBase database: the principles of HBase data management is studied; equipment data’s reading and writing processes is established; data model of equipment database is designed based on HBase.

Welding temperature is the main factor that influences welding quality in high frequency induction welding process of composite aluminum alloy thin-walled tube. The finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to simulate temperature field. One complete penetration of thin-walled tube and boundary conditions of thermal calculation are taken into account. Then a linear thermal model is used to load and calculate to draw temperature distribution and thermal cycle curves of welding process. Research results provide corresponding theoretical basis for further analysis of welding stress and strain.

The focus of the study was to establish an UPLC-ESI-MS/MS method for the qualitative and quantitative determination of VLPVPR in rat plasma. The method was as follows: Protein impurities in the rat plasma samples were precipitated with methanol; A Waters Acquity BEH C18 column (100 mm×2.1 mm, 1.7 μm) was adopted; the column temperature was 25°C; the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water with gradient elution at the steady flow rate of 0.3 mL·min-1; the detection wavelength was 202 nm. Mass spectrometry applied selected ion monitoring mode with m/z 255 (quantitative ion) and m/z 169 (qualitative ion). It was found that excellent linear relationship was obtained from the range of 10~200 ng·mL-1 (r=0.9991), the limit determination (LOD) of VLPVPR was 1.8 ng·mL-1, the recovery rate was 96.33%~100.76%, The inter and intre-day RSD were less than 7%. We thus conclude that a rapid and sensitive UPLC-ESI-MS/MS method was developed and validated for the determination of recombinant antihypertensive peptide VLPVPR in rat plasma. It can be applied to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of VLPVPR.

When tackling the problem of mining multiple fake identities which are controlled by the same individual in internet, traditional techniques used to analyze the posted comments using text-based methods. However, these texts are always in colloquial style which make the effect may not be as obvious as expected. In this paper a new multiple identities linking algorithm is proposed based on the fine-grained analysis of co-occurrence degree of user accounts using sliding window model. Finally, a series of experiments show the effectiveness of our proposed method.

The dam crack is a crucial factor in the safety running of a dam. It turns out that Shenwo Reservoir dam has plenty of gate piers with multiple penetrative cracks through our on-site inspection, which threatens the safety of the dam greatly. The causations of the gate pier cracks of concrete dam were investigated using three-dimensional finite element method (FEM). Possible causations to induce cracks were considered and a sensitive analysis was studied on temperature drop. The result shows that serious dam cracks are not possible to appear if the gate pier is under normal structural loadings, while the drop temperature and ice bulge from seepage water are the main reasons in northern cold region for concrete dam to have cracks.

To realize maneuvering target terminal effective intercept and control, at the expense of the miss distance function, using pursuit-evasion differential game strategy analyze the effective intercept conditions of bilateral optimization strategy. Ideal geometry is mainly represented by several parameters in traditional CAD system. Based on these parameters, ideal geometry can be dynamically constructed to build the entire CAD entity; however, the modeling of variated geometry by parameters is not included, and parametric representation for variated geometry is introduced in this paper; sets of parameters for different types of geometry variation are discussed. Based on parametric representation for variated geometry, the translation and orientation error of part that affected by the variation of geometry is calculated, the process for converting geometry error to parametric part location error is introduced.

With the increase of mining depth, rock mechanics conditions become complicates. So the surface subsidence law caused by deep mining is different from the shallow. Based on the finite difference method and rock mechanics theory, the surface subsidence law cased by deep caving mining was studied, the strata movement rule and characteristics of stress distribution of different excavation stage was analyzed systematically. The results of the study can provide certain reference significance for the deep mining to confirm the displacement angle and range of surface subsidence.

Styrene was selectively oxidized to styrene oxide with macrocylic amido Mn (II) complex as catalyst and tert-Butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as oxidant. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, solvents, amount of catalyst and oxidant on the conversion and selectivity of styrene epoxidation were investigated. The optimized conditions were achieved by molar ratio of n (catalyst) :n (styrene)=1% in acetonitrile solvent at 75 °C in 1.5 h. Under optimum reaction conditions, reaction conversion of 92.6% and selectivity of 86.9 % were obtained.

This paper presents a novel image acquisition technology for colorless raised characters. First, a grating image modulated with the height information of raised character is captured through a vision system; then, the Fourier transform method is used to get the phase of the grating image; finally, a rational design phase unwrapping method is designed to reconstruct the grayscale image of raised characters. Experiments show that the proposed method can get the well-separated images of raised characters.

Based on the analysis of setting principles of tidal lane, this paper describes the traffic and technical feasibility on setting tidal lane aat Xizhimen Outer Street between Chedaogou Bridge and Sijiqing Bridge, and then put forward a package on setting of tidal lane and control approaches of segment and endpoint. Through an analysis of the package, we expect to relieving road network pressure from tidal traffic and achieving the purpose of easing traffic congestion.

This article will analysis the backlash through a spur gear drive model based on form and position errors, draw up the backlash formulae by form and position errors conversion, extreme method and probabilistic method, and verify it by an example.

Remote sensing technology is one of the best methods for the large-scale monitoring of chlorophyll in crops. This study analyzes the feasibility of estimating the contents of chlorophyll by means of narrow band normalized difference vegetation indices (NDVInb). The reflectance of the two bands forming the NDVInbis from simulations run on the PROSPECT model. A traversal of possible combinations of NDVInbare examined from 400 nm to 800 nm. Our results indicate that, at the leaf level, estimation of chlorophyll content can be identified in NDVInb. Ranges for these bands include: 1) 720-735 nm combined with 400-428 nm; 2) 550-615 nm, 692-701 nm or 707-715 nm combined with 400-432 nm or 462-496 nm; 3) 562-589 nm, 616-662 nm or 729-737 nm combined with 434-454 nm; and 4) 664-687 nm combined with 550-615 nm or 692-701 nm.

The structure model of silicon nanograins was built. And then based the modification of the mean free path of phonons according to the size of nanograins, the expression of thermal conductivity in nanograins was obtained according to the phonon kinetic theory. The dependence of the thermal conductivity of silicon nanograins on size was investigated. The results showed that thermal conductivity of nanograins decrease with the reduction of characteristic sizes when the characteristic sizes of nanograins are comparable to or smaller than the phonon mean free path.

The key factors affecting the transmission error of gear mechanism are analyzed and the calculation formula of transmission error based on parts’ form and position errors is derived in this paper. Since the errors have different kinds of probability distributions, this paper calculate the expectation and variance of transmission error by statistical method, gives final transmission error value, and verify it by an example.

The aim of this research is to verify the effectiveness of smoke exhaust system including natural, longitudinal and semi-transverse system in urban underground fast road. For this research, a series of hot smoke tests were accomplished in experimental field in The Ministry of Transportation test site. The temperature distributions were recorded by thermocouples and the smoke flow laws were counted by visibility sensors. Meanwhile, the temperature distributions in the tunnel has been simulated by using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software of ANSYS CFX. In terms of the experiments and simulation above, the smoke flow characteristics were demonstrated. Some valuable advices are given finally which can be applied to the design of smoke exhausted system in urban underground fast road.

Gas valves are very important parts in compressors. If a valve fault in a compressor takes place, the expulsion of the compressor will decrease. In some critical cases, abnormal gas transmission will lead to a serious accident. This article proposes a method of fixed time basis in multi-resolution analysis and wavelet transform. This method can thoroughly resolve the problems occurred in present valve fault diagnosis caused by the fact that the wavelet transform does not have time shift invariance. By the analysis of experimental data, it shows that the valve fault can be preferably and accurately detected by using the method.

The removal of CODMn, UV254, nitrate nitrogen and turbidity have been investigated in this paper by a biological activated charcoal (BAC) reactor in different height of the filter and the in different temperature of 4-18°C and 19 to 26°C. The results show that the highest concentration of microorganism occurs in the top of the BAC. The microorganism concentration decreases from top to bottom. The backwash period at low temperature is 4-5 days by measuring permanganate index of the different packing height, which can be extended to 6-7 days at normal temperature. CODMn was not removed effectively by BAC with the average value of about 4.51mg/L. The removal rates CODMn at normal temperature and low temperature are 15.90% and 4.38% respectively. The removal of nitrate nitrogen is also influenced by temperature. Removal of turbidity and UV254 under different stages do not show significant changes, but UV removal shows no obvious changes at the temperature of 5-26°C.

This paper presents a power emergency communication solution based on long distance optical fiber communication technology. It use a portable ultra-long span optical amplifying device composed by optical components, by configuring different optical amplification scheme, using redundancy fiber to set up a new transport channel quickly, it achieve the function of emergency communication. Specific configurations are proposed for 2.5G and 10G SDH optical transmission system, and conducted field test and validation. The solution is flexible to configure and easy to install, it provides a convenient emergency communication solution for fast failure recovery of fiber line interruption, damage of relay stations, and fiber aging in electric system.

In the process of polymer flooding in porous media, polymer was detained due to interactions between surface adsorption and polymer molecules, and this could lead to negative effects on oil displacement. For polymer adsorption in Xinjiang conglomerate reservoir, HPLC analysis was adopted to study the static and dynamic laws. Results have showed that the adsorption process could be divided into 3 stages: rapid growth, slow growth and stable state. With the loss of polymer molecular weight, equilibrium adsorption quantity reduces gradually. The adsorption amount is different for the same polymer on four types of oil sands. For equilibrium adsorption, the maximum value is argillaceous sandstone, followed by conglomeratic sandstone.The third is argillaceous gravel, and the minimum is sand gravel. For polymer flooding in conglomerate cores, the dynamic retention amount of seriate conglomerate is much greater than that of fine particle conglomerate. These data have provided reference for project design of polymer flooding in conglomerate reservoir.

Support of soft rock is a big challenge in all mines at home and abroad. Soft rock is of different kinds of rheological property for geological conditions, mine ground pressure and so on. It brings about really difficult problem to roadway support. In order to ensure safety application and prolong usage, shaft station need to be reinforced. Sight instrument was used to analyze broken conditions. The results show that the broken depth in roof rock is 5~6 m, and greater than 4 m in sidewalls. According to failure characters and sight results, we determine that rock of shaft station belongs to high geo-stress and jointed soft rock. On this basis, technology of grouting reinforcement combined with cable anchor support is carried out. Monitoring results of surface convergence and cable force show that bearing capacity of surrounding rock increases obviously, roadway contraction and floor heave are well controlled.

Two structural schemes of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Immersed Tunnel were compared. In Scheme 1, the prestressed reinforcing bars were to be cut off after installation. And in Scheme 2, the prestressed reinforcing bars will be kept there as they were after installation. A finite element model for sections E12~E15 was built by using the finite element software PLAXIS with consideration to the construction process and different loading conditions to analyze both schemes. The calculation results show that they both meet the design requirements.

Aero-engine pipeline is the cardiovascular of aero-engine, which directly affects the safety and reliability of planes. However, the pipeline has complex structure and is easily broken by the harsh operation environment. Therefore, the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of aero-engine pipeline play one of the most important role to ensure the aero-engine safe and reliable. Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor (FBGS) owns several characteristics, such as anti-electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, small size, performance stability, long lifecycle, as well as easy to constitute distributed multi-point system. In this paper, a condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system for aero-engine pipeline, including online monitoring and offline diagnosis, is proposed. Moreover, online monitoring based on temperature and strain signals and offline fault diagnosis based on simulated vibration signals of aero-engine pipeline are explained in details. According to the experimental results, the proposed system is useful and effective.

The aim was to study the preservation of coating with chitosan hydrogel on navel oranges. And the result showed that coating with 2.0% chitosan hydrogel had a higher SOD activity and lower respiration rate, membrane permeability and MDA content, which could effectively remain navel oranges’ quality and extend the shelf life.

The slow-start threshold in the current TCP Reno algorithm is a fixed value, and it does not change with the current network congestion status, which is prone to end the slow-start course too early or too late. Round-trip time (RTT) can reflect the current network status better. The paper presents a dynamic adjustment algorithm of slow-start threshold based on RTT, by which the value of slow-start threshold is dynamically adjusted according to the current RTT. Simulation results show that it effectively reduces congestion collapse in congestion state, and throughput is further improved under ideal network status.

We have measured the Raman spectra of all samples in the process of preparing polyacrylonitrile (PAN) iron complex nanofibers, and compared their Raman spectral characteristics, and thus gained a preliminary result for the PAN nanofibers structural changes in the different stages. Through its Raman spectral analysis and comparison we can find that the cyano group (C N) of modified PAN nanofibers disappeared while the Raman bands of C = N group appeared. For the pre-oxidized PAN nanofiber, because the D and G bands of the C = C vibration appeared in the Raman spectra, it is concluded that the PAN nanofiber has an apparent structural change. Finally, it is also found that that Fe3+and O2-ions have formed coordination bonds in the further prepared PAN iron (Fe3+) complex nanofibers because the characteristic Raman band of Fe = O bond appears.

A novel method to automatically generate the depth map is presented, when the depth maps of reference images located before and after the target image in the same image sequence are given. A novel grid dividing method and a joint feature response model are proposed to adaptively select trace points, and an image deformation algorithm is given to track depth maps with the trace points. Experimental results show that the proposed method can generate depth maps effectively and accurately, which can meet the industrial needs in 2D-3D conversion.

The Unified Modeling Language - UML - is the most used specification language, and the way the world models not only application structure, behavior, and architecture, but also business process and data structure. In this paper, we aim to demonstrate a system development methodology by generating the UML diagrams from the requirements of the Automatic Banking Machine (ABM) System and discuss their relationships, differences and suitability. The high-level requirements of the system are specified by using use-case diagram, activity diagram, state chart diagram, collaboration diagram, sequence diagram, and component diagram, and the low-level requirements of each component using class diagrams. We briefly introduce each diagram, their usage, their advantages and some limitations, and then we discuss the relationships and differences between two or more diagrams, and suitability for modeling the different parts of the system.

The methods of starlight refraction navigation has very strict geometric requirements to starlight refraction direction, in order to capture the refraction of stars accurately, and avoid emerging the serious loss of accuracy of lost star, a forecasting method of interference refractive starlight is proposed in this paper. This method can consider all sorts of bodies under the influence of interference, and predict starlight direction that can happen refraction in the instant position of the corresponding spacecraft, so as to adjust the star sensor posture in advance for quick capture starlight refraction. At the same time, from the geometric relationships researching and analyzing the influence mechanism between refraction stars number and distribution by various interference, the influence of the simulation results show that refraction star distribute on both sides of the spacecraft orbit zonally, its number is closely related to the altitude. While through to accurately forecast on the starlight refraction direction, we can make the spacecraft navigation precision and capture refraction star speed increased by more than one times. Therefore, this paper has important value of engineering application.

A frequency identification modeling method for a small UAV helicopter and its control system design is presented. A modified frequency identification method for a state-space model of helicopter is presented. The overall concept is to extract a complete set of non-parametric input-to-output frequency responses that fully characterizes the coupled helicopter dynamics, conduct a nonlinear search based on secant method for a linear state-space model that matches the frequency-response data set. The accuracy of the identified model is verified by flight experiments. A path following controller is presented for an unmanned helicopter with two-loop control frame. The outer-loop is used to obtain the expected attitude angles through reference path and speed with guidance-based path following control, and the inner-loop is used to control the attitude angles of helicopter tracking the expected ones with loop shaping method. Finally, an 8 trajectory tracking simulation is conducted to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed control method.

This article intends to analyze from the level of the texture feature, and from the four aspects to analyze the influence of textile texture in the indoor decoration: textile texture, the color of textile, pattern and cultural of textile, and the emotional of textile, meanwhile, around the texture features of the textile and extend the wide inspiration and thinking to the interior adornment.

Distillation and GC-MS were employed to analysis the coal tar of low-temperature pyrolysis of lignite briquette by contrasting with standards: the fraction below 340°C in the tar distillates of brown coal tar accounted for 83.30% and the other greater than 340°C is pitch accounted for 16.32%. 34.00% of coal tar are hydrocarbons which are mainly consisted of fat aliphatic hydrocarbon and include few alkene and cycloparaffins. The content of phenolic compounds in coal tar, mainly comes from the fraction below 210°C, is 11.68%. 16.86% of coal tar is aromatic compounds which are mainly composed of substitutive derivative of polyalkylbenzene distributing in all kinds of fractions; and a small amount of aromatic compounds which is concentrated in the fraction below 300°C. The content of oxygen-containing, nitrogen-containing and heterocyclic compounds is 4.47%, 0.57%, 2.11%, respectively.

To verify the validity of fault control measures, a verification platform with software fault injection and hardware fault injection is developed to conduct fault diagnosis measures for MCU control system. For the faults occurring in the internal units of a controller, program debugger is employed to simulate software or hardware faults by varying the data; for the faults occurring in peripheral circuits, a circuit of fault-settings is employed to simulate hardware faults, i.e., open-/short-circuit and electrical level variation. This verification platform is applied to evaluate software measures to control the faults/errors in accordance with IEC60335/IEC60730/UL1998/CSA22.2.08, and a case of induction cooker is presented shows how it works. Experimental results show that the verification platform runs stably and accurately, and has a big value in practice.

A vibration control method is proposed to suppress nonlinear large vibration of the flexible robotic arm undergoing rigid motion. The method takes advantage of modal interaction and is implemented based on internal resonance. To attenuate vibration of the flexible arm, another vibrating system, consisting of a rigid link, a flexible joint and a damper, is introduced as a vibration absorber. Perturbation technique is used to study the transient response of the nonlinear equations of motion. Numerical simulation results preliminarily verify that the proposed control strategy is able to effectively reduce vibration of the flexible robotic arm.

Initial disturbance is the chief factor that affects missile launch accuracy and divergence while using orientation devices could reduce it effectively. In this paper, adapter combined with guide rail will be mainly studied. Modeling and simulation for missile systems will be done by virtual prototyping technology, focusing on deflection, pitch angle, and pitch angular velocity and so on to analysis initial disturbance. Results show that by mean of adapter combined with guide rail initial disturbance could be greatly reduced and launch accuracy has been improved.

In order to solve the problem of the linear measurement of arch ring for the detection of bridge,a new method is presented that measures the arch ring using a reflectorless total station on the side of the arch bridge and the detail operations are given. Taking account of weakness of edge suveying using a reflectorless total station,some formulas on the 3d coordinates calculation of the above and down edge of the arch ring based on the arch ring points are deduced.According to the law of error propagation, the accuracy of the X and Z axial coordinates are analysed.It is helpful for calculating lateral and vertical deformation and biridges elevation map that the transformation from free-station coordianates to the birdge axis coordinate by programming using EXCEL software is achieved.The method is used for bridges arch ring axial measurement in Qingcheng town,Yuzhong county,Gansu province,and its deformation is consistent with the measured results of the dial indicator,which satisfies the requirement of bridge detecton accuracy.So it is showed that the method is a good way of linear measuring of bridges arch ring.

Based on the actual project example of high pressure gas pipeline crossing earthquake rupture area, the paper shows and explains the way to make stress analysis and strength checking calculation for the high pressure gas pipeline in the earthquake rupture area by the method of finite element.

Electric-current induced electroresistance effect has been investigated in epitaxial Pr0.7Sr0.3MnO3thin film grown on the (100) SrTiO3substrate. A significant change ~38% in the ratio of the peak resistance at different currents with a current density up to ~3.3×103A/cm2was achieved. Such an ER effect is more remarkable in comparing with that reported in other manganite oxides with similar current densities. Compared with that of the as-grown films, the electroresistance of the post-annealed films is smaller, while the ER effect (~14%) is obtained. Although the nature behind such an electroresistance effect has not been well understood, the field tunability of the metal/insulator transition and the electroresistance effect induced by currents might be of potential for various applications such as filed effect devices.

Based on Simufact11.0, a 3-D model of T profile extrusion is established and the extrusion process of TC4 is investigated using finite volumemethod(FVM) of Euler mesh description. Effects of different friction coefficients on the effective stress, extrusion pressure, effective strain and effective strain rate have been studied. The study shows that there is a high-stress zone at a certain distance from the entrance of the forming area and a high strain rate zone around that area. With the increase of friction coefficient, the value of the stress increased and the deformation is more uneven. The track of extrusion pressure shows that extrusion increase with the increase of friction coefficient.

Light shape detection of headlamps is an important project of yearly check. In the aspect of lowbeam detection, it is necessary to not only accurately calculate the boundary between brightness and shade, but also optical axis intersection point. By the principle that the second derivative indicates the concavity and convexity of functions, a polynomial fitting is used to calculate the columns grayscale profile of a lowbeam figure, and then get the cut-off point through second derivative of a polynomial. The boundary between brightness and shade is consisted of these cut-off points. The optical axis intersection point is obtained by second order difference of the boundary. While fully extracting graphic features, the method precisely locates positions of the boundary and the intersection.

Recommendation systems have achieved widespread success in E-commerce nowadays. There are several evaluation metrics for recommender systems, such as accuracy, diversity, computational efficiency and coverage. Accuracy is one of the most important measurement criteria. In this paper, to improve accuracy, we proposed a hybrid recommender algorithm by an improved similarity method (ISM), combining demographic recommendation techniques and user-based collaborative filtering (CF) algorithms. Experiments were performed to compare the present approach with the other classical similarity measures based on the MovieLens dataset. The Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) values show the superiority of the proposed algorithm.
