The initial designed structure of the diameter measuring gauge of filter rod forming machine is too large, so that it cannot be installed in the limited space of filter rod forming machine. Because of this, the structure of the diameter measuring gauge is redesigned in order to overcome the space constraints of filter rod forming machine. Firstly, the diameter measuring gauge of KDF2、KDF3 type filter rod forming machine is redesigned by combining the advantages of the theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ) and constraints (TOC). Next, through constraints theory, finding the main contradictions of initial design and then contradictions can be eliminated by using inventive problem solving theory. Finally, diameter measuring gauge of filter rod forming machine design should be available, and the product design successfully. It is the first time that this type diameter measuring gauge is designed and installed on the KDF2、KDF3 type filter rod forming machine successfully across the country.

Precision of filter rod circumference is an important performance index of the cigarette manufacturing. The forming mechanism of filter rod, equipment vibration and other interference factors all lead to fluctuations of precision of filter rod circumference which can affect the precision of the cigarette. The existing KDF2/3 filter rod making machine which has the characteristics of compact structure (small space dimension), high speed (300 m/min) and discrete control of precision of filter rod circumference is the core equipment of filter rod production. This paper puts forward four kinds of online real-time detection schemes on precision of filter rod circumference which are Aomeijia’s many groups of detectors scheme, Keyence’s contour detection scheme, high precision measuring diameter instrument detection scheme using multiple sets of KD series meter and the 360 degrees rotating survey meter. On the basis of extensive analysis and experimental validation, Aomeijia’s four-way diameter measuring instrument scheme is optimal. The scheme applies laser to non-contact high speed scan on key radial diameter size of filter rod which achieves 0.001mm high precision detection.

A defect feature extraction algorithm which depends on the separation and subtraction of color image and mathematical morphology is proposed in this paper, based on the defects in trademark printing processes, such as smudges, pin holes, misprints, misting etc. The difference images of each monochrome are operated with morphology methods and then the defect information of high precision printing processes in colorful trademark, such as shape, boundary contour, quantity, size and location etc, are extracted and recognized with suitable structure elements. The defect extraction algorithm is programmed and run by MATLAB and the results validated the high speed and precision of the algorithm about extracting some kinds of defect information in color trademark printing processes. The algorithm has met the real-time requirements of defect feature extraction in trademark printing processes. This research laid a theoretical foundation for researching and developing the color trademark quality detection system.

The 3D model of the lathe tool is established by using the Pro/E of 3D design software, then imported 3D model into the finite element software Workbench, and analyzed its statics using the finite element method, and got the stress figure and strain figure and total deformation figure while the lathe tool undertaking the cutting force, through the analysis it shows that the strength of the lathe tool can meet the processing requirements.

Binder is the essential component of coating color recipe. The amount and type of latex binder has a significant effect on both the structure and chemical-physical properties of coated paper, which affect critical surface properties, e.g., print gloss, roughness, ink setting rate via liquid absorption, and print mottle The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of coating solid on the binder distribution in the method of numerical analysis by Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSCM). In this study, Rhodamine B was used to stain the binder and as the probe to characterize z-directional distribution of the binder using LSCM. The results implied that it was reliable and effective method using LSCM to characterize the z-directional distribution of binder and analyze the influence of coating solid on binder distribution in the z-direction. It could be concluded that the coating solid played an important effect on binder distribution in coated paper and low coating solid with more water accelerated binder migration to the interior of base paper, sample with 60% coating solid is good to binder distribution and coating layer forming.

Analyzed the research status of flotation separation in the field of water treatment. By using CFD software, the important parameters of velocity and pressure in the flotation column are analyzed and contrasted. Through the simulation, it will identify design adequacy and optimize operating parameters and structural parameters. The important factors influencing floatation column separation are got. In the process of oil-water separation, keeping proper bubble size and gas holdup is necessary.

Continuous reel low weight and multi-color soft pack trademarks are used in the high-speed large-volume packaging production process during some new production process. However, most of the existing equipments in the factory are discrete single production machine. Therefore the production process of multi-feature continuous reel soft pack trademarks is needed to be solved urgently. Multi-feature continuous reel soft pack trademark set printing color clarity, color graded accuracy, trademarks pattern and text position accuracy in one. Disposable multi-point high-precision positioning technology, flat local heat transfer technology and digital intermittent control technology are used to achieve continuous reel trademarks high-precision double location synchronization hot stamping. That is, multiple convex word and laser holographic anti-counterfeit pattern intermittent synchronization hot stamping. Machine vision inspection system scan each pixel of trademark with high-speed CCD array and collect it into a computer database for comparison with the standard sample. The defects are recorded by electronic coordinates, building electron stripping system and removing unqualified trademarks, a set of production process system of new continuous reel soft pack trademarks is achieved. This research provides a theoretical basis for technological transformation of enterprises and products the new packaging production, completes its corresponding transformation and crafts integration. It could help enterprise form a new production process system.

Modern printing industry detective techniques, which have transferred from traditional single discrete manual operation into line detection based on machine vision. The line detection research under the highly automated process requirements, which is based on color graphics, gravure text, high-speed stamping and laser hologram hot stamping technology, is the multi-feature defect detection and recognition. By CDD study linear measurement techniques and computer vision technology, the research built the visual inspection platform, and design detection scheme combined with the specific requirements of the printing process in database technology and image processing technology. Research obtained the online testing solutions and system information flow characteristics, which achieved requirement of multi-feature detection, high precision and high speed continuous production technologies.
