The article presents a discussion of several unpublished drawings by Venetian artist Francesco Algarotti, adapted from a paper presented at a symposium on eighteenth-century Venetian art and architecture which was held in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The article examines a set of theatre drawings attributed to Venetian artist Giannantonio Pellegrini, which were auctioned on December 8, 1972. Information about the dimensions the drawings, the approximate date of their creation and the artistic style of the artist is presented. Pellegrini's drawings also were compared with the works of other artists such as Marco Ricci and Johann Wilhelm.
