The paper presents a system level overview of an electric vehicle power train. After a brief review of the available power train architectures, a particular one is constructed along with its control circuit, using popular simulation software. This paper describes the initial design of an adaptive weather station. The device relays on an ultra-low power micro architecture, adaptive power distribution mechanism, small form factor, and GPS receiver for time synchronization. The device is dynamically reconfigurable for working in high performance, real time transfer mode with direct operator control; and ultra-low power, fully autonomous, self-monitoring, long-term measurement mode. The paper discusses the possibilities for integration of instrumentation for management of electric energy to the Internet using Web services. It presents architecture and platforms for implementation of remote instrumentation based on web services. Three-phase power measurement and analysis has always been regarded as complex and expensive. In order to monitor power supply and power quality from a distance is very important to establish capabilities for remote access to measurement system. This paper proposes a low cost power parameter measuring system based on networked power transducers, graphical programming environment, and DataSocket transfer protocol for remote access via Internet. The paper presents the investigation of some possibilities for distant reading of the consumed electric energy. The purpose is to organize an automated system for data communications between different points and a control centre. The architectures of DLMS/COSEM protocol systems are proposed. This paper includes investigations of power losses in off-chip and on-chip filter inductors in monolithic dc-dc converter designed on CMOS 0.35 µm technology. Chip coils of the company Murata are used for off-chip inductors. For the extraction of the model's parameters of integrated inductors of CMOS 0.35 µm process is used one of the Cadence tools named "Virtuoso Passive Component Designer". An Improved uncontrolled rectifier circuit is proposed in this article. Power/frequency characteristics are synthesized with PSpice and MathCAD.
