We report here a tumor‐pretargted theranostic approach for multimodality imaging‐guided synergistic cancer PDT by cascade alkaline phosphatase (ALP)‐mediated in situ self‐assembly and bioorthogonal inverse electron demand Diels–Alder (IEDDA) reaction. Using the enzymatic catalysis of ALP that continuously catalyses the dephosphorylation and self‐assembly of trans‐cyclooctene (TCO)‐bearing P‐FFGd‐TCO, a high density of fluorescent and magnetic TCO‐containing nanoparticles (FMNPs‐TCO) can be synthesized and retained on the membrane of tumor cells. They can act as 'artificial antigens' amenable to concurrently capture lately administrated tetrazine (Tz)‐decorated PS (775NP‐Tz) and carbonic anhydrase (CA) inhibitor (SA‐Tz) via the fast IEDDA reaction. This two‐step pretargeting process can further induce FMNPs‐TCO regrowth into microparticles (FMNPs‐775/SA) directly on tumor cell membranes, which is analyzed by bio‐SEM and fluorescence imaging. Thus, efficient enrichment of both SA‐Tz and 775NP‐Tz in tumors can be achieved, allowing to alleviate hypoxia by continuously inhibiting CA activity and improving PDT of tumors. Findings show that subcutaneous HeLa tumors could be completely eradicated and no tumor recurred after irradiation with an 808 nm laser (0.33 W cm−2, 10 min). Piezo‐catalytic self‐Fenton (PSF) system has been emerging as a promising technique for wastewater treatment, while the competing O2 reductive hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) production and FeIII reduction seriously limited the reaction kinetics. Here, we develop a two‐electron water oxidative H2O2 production (WOR−H2O2) coupled with FeIII reduction over a FeIII/BiOIO3 piezo‐catalyst for highly efficient PSF. It is found that the presence of FeIII can simultaneously initiate the WOR−H2O2 and reduction of FeIII to FeII, thereby enabling a rapid reaction kinetics towards subsequent Fenton reaction of H2O2/FeII. The FeIII initiating PSF system offers exceptional self‐recyclable degradation of pollutants with a degradation rate constant for sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) over 3.5 times as that of the classic FeII‐PSF system. Reducible oxide‐supported noble metal nanoparticles exhibit high activity in catalyzing many important oxidation reactions. However, atom migration under harsh reaction conditions leads to deactivation of the catalyst. Meanwhile, single‐atom catalysts demonstrate enhanced stability, but often suffer from poor catalytic activity owing to the ionized surface states. In this work, we simultaneously address the poor activity and stability issues by synthesizing highly active and durable rhodium (Rh) single‐atom catalysts through a "wrap‐bake‐peel" process. The pre‐coated SiO2 layer during synthesis of catalyst plays a crucial role in not only protecting CeO2 support against sintering, but also donating electron to weaken the Ce−O bond, producing highly loaded Rh single atoms on the CeO2 support exposed with high‐index {210} facets. Benefiting from the unique electronic structure of CeO2 {210} facets, more oxygen vacancies are generated along with the deposition of more electropositive Rh single atoms, leading to remarkably improved catalytic performance in CO oxidation. Cuproptosis is a new form of programmed cell death and exhibits enormous potential in cancer treatment. However, reducing the undesirable Cu ion release in normal tissue and maximizing the copper‐induced therapeutic effect in cancer sites are two main challenges. In this study, we constructed a photothermally triggered nanoplatform (Au@MSN‐Cu/PEG/DSF) to realize on‐demand delivery for synergistic therapy. The released disulfiram (DSF) chelated with Cu2+ in situ to generate highly cytotoxic bis(diethyldithiocarbamate)copper (CuET), causing cell apoptosis, and the formed Cu+ species promoted toxic mitochondrial protein aggregation, leading to cell cuproptosis. Synergistic with photothermal therapy, Au@MSN‐Cu/PEG/DSF could effectively kill tumor cells and inhibit tumor growth (inhibition rate up to 80.1 %). Exploring high‐efficiency and stable halide perovskite‐based photocatalysts for the selective reduction of CO2 to methane is a challenge because of the intrinsic photo‐ and chemical instability of halide perovskites. In this study, halide perovskites (Cs3Bi2Br9 and Cs2AgBiBr6) were grown in situ in mesoporous TiO2 frameworks for an efficient CO2 reduction. Benchmarked CH4 production rates of 32.9 and 24.2 μmol g−1 h−1 with selectivities of 88.7 % and 84.2 %, were achieved, respectively, which are better than most reported halide perovskite photocatalysts. Focused ion‐beam sliced‐imaging techniques were used to directly image the hyperdispersed perovskite nanodots confined in mesopores with tunable sizes ranging from 3.8 to 9.9 nm. In situ X‐ray photoelectronic spectroscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy showed that the built‐in electric field between the perovskite nanodots and mesoporous titania channels efficiently promoted photo‐induced charge transfer. Density functional theory calculations indicate that the high methane selectivity was attributed to the Bi‐adsorption‐mediated hydrogenation of *CO to *HCO that dominates CO desorption. Molecular complexes with inexpensive transition‐metal centers have drawn extensive attention, as they show a high selectivity in the electrochemical conversion of CO2 to CO. In this work, we propose a new strategy to covalently graft cobalt porphyrin onto the surface of a carbon nanotube by a substitution reaction at the metal center. Material characterization and electrochemical studies reveal that the porphyrin molecules are well dispersed at a high loading of 10 wt. %. As a result, the turnover frequency for CO formation is improved by a factor of three compared to traditional physically‐mixed catalysts with the same cobalt content. This leads to an outstanding overall current density of 25.1 mA cm−2 and a Faradaic efficiency of 98.3 % at 490 mV overpotential with excellent long‐term stability. Abstract: The site‐selective functionalization of unactivated C(sp3)−H bonds remains one of the greatest challenges in organic synthesis. Herein, we report on the site‐selective δ‐C(sp3)−H alkylation of amino acids and peptides with maleimides via a kinetically less favored six‐membered palladacycle in the presence of more accessible γ‐C(sp3)−H bonds. Experimental studies revealed that C−H bond cleavage occurs reversibly and preferentially at γ‐methyl over δ‐methyl C−H bonds while the subsequent alkylation proceeds exclusively at the six‐membered palladacycle that is generated by δ‐C−H activation. The selectivity can be explained by the Curtin–Hammett principle. The exceptional compatibility of this alkylation with various oligopeptides renders this procedure valuable for late‐stage peptide modifications. Notably, this process is also the first palladium(II)‐catalyzed Michael‐type alkylation reaction that proceeds through C(sp3)−H activation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

While dose dependencies in pharmacokinetics and clearance are often observed in clinically used small molecules, very few studies have been dedicated to the understandings of potential dose-dependent in vivo transport of nanomedicines. Here we report that the pharmacokinetics and clearance of renal clearable gold nanoparticles (GS-AuNPs) are strongly dose-dependent once injection doses are above 15 mg kg−1: high dose expedited the renal excretion and shortened the blood retention. As a result, the no-observed-adverse-effect-level (NOAEL) of GS-AuNPs was >1000 mg kg−1 in CD-1 mice. The efficient renal clearance and high compatibility can be translated to the non-human primates: no adverse effects were observed within 90 days after intravenous injection of 250 mg kg−1 GS-AuNPs. These fundamental understandings of dose effect on the in vivo transport of ultrasmall AuNPs open up a pathway to maximize their biomedical potentials and minimize their toxicity in the future clinical translation.
