Abstract

Tests the hypothesis that desensitization of angiotensin (ANG) II tonic contractile response of the guinea pig ileum is related to membrane repolarization determined by calcium-activated potassium channel opening. Indirect effects of ANG II and acetylcholine on maxi-potassium channel activity; Kinetic parameters of the maxi-potassium channel.
